  in what format save you your file? If it's a jpg file, then the text is compressed and unfortunately PS is telling things as they are. Even if you could change the text before you save, after having been saved in jpg format, the text is merged and is no longer editable.

  A good solution is to save the files as PSD files, photoshop files. In this case, all layers are saved uncompressed and so your text will appear in its own layer in photoshop. All you need to do in this case to change it is the result of a three-step procedure

  (1) select the right layer

  (2) take the text tool in the tools bar

  (3) mark and change your text

  So the crucial question is: in what format you save your file?

  Lightroom creates a DVD that can be played on other computers.  This includes slideshows.  If you want to be able to show your DVD into a Blu - ray or standard DVD player connected to the TV, then you must use a software that will create the DVD in the proper format.  You might consider ProShow Gold, or Adobe Premiere Elements or similar programs.  According to its capabilities and your TV, you might be able to simply display a regular data DVD images.  My TV has an entry for a flash drive.  I can load the images to a flash drive and view them directly.  But if you want to show your slideshow on your TV, you need to author with appropriate software.

  2.35 minutes of music is therefore enough for about 22 images (about 7 seconds per image). If you use a lot of images more then the piece of music is still not long enough.

  I forgot how LR5 (I have installed LR6) control his piece of music, but the closure can be expected. The answer would be to build a piece of music that lasts the entire length of your slide show (based on the time you was not on the screen). Audacity can insert audio silence will follow when necessary. When you have enough music for 'time' in the show there is an option to 'Fit to Music' that changes the duration of the slides so that the track ends by the last slide. You need to be creative with audio editing.

  I use DVD - R Verbatim discs and never had a problem. For playback on the computer, I create mp4 files.

  I can only put a single audio file when creating a slide show but trying to put another file I get the error message "the selected file cannot be read because your system does not have the necessary compress/decompression (codec) installed.   In addition, I use Windows 7.

  Some will work and some won't. Look into Audacity, linked above. Always convert MP3, WAV/PCM, in record in Audacity, and the problem will disappear.

  Evil. It will work in Reader (XI or higher), but you will only be able to select the PDF files as the image. 'S done it on purpose by Adobe.

  you have the fla that created the swf file?

  If so, just copy images from this fla and paste into a new movieclip in your fla slideshow.  Add this movieclip to your timeline.

  the best way to do what you want (but not the most flexible/changeable) would be to add each slide a key frame to its own layer.  It is a design decision, but start with keyframes at 1, 11, 21 etc.
