  I run Symantec AntiVirus Corporate edition 2002 (build version 8.00.9374). The following problem, I discovered yesterday (May 13) when my analysis system and antivirus weekly update is scheduled: from an analysis of the system, the scan box opens and immediately stops, displays the message "scan stopped by user", followed the date & time and all control buttons are grayed out (not functional) with the exception of the close button.

  The only change that took place in my PC has been the download and installation of the most recent update Security for Windows XP (KB978542) which is described as: "critical Microsoft Security Bulletin MS10-030 - vulnerability in Outlook Express and Windows Mail could allow Code execution (978542) remotely.

  I tried to uninstall the security update; uninstall - reboot - reinstall - Live Update of the antivirus application. do a system restore point to return to the previous week - to no. AVAIL.

  I later identified this same, exact problem on 3 other computers running XP with sp 3 which just installed the latest update from security Microsoft.  I would be grateful to any suggestions on how to remedy this situation.  As a newbie to this forum, I would appreciate if others copy this assignment to other sections of the Symantec and Microsoft sites that could give him this attention important issue.

  I checked your account details and I see that you have a valid license of Acrobat, you sure you edit file in Acrobat and not in the reader?

  "PDF Complete" is not an Adobe product. Looks like you installed on your computer and use it to produce PDF files and its y adding this watermark (probably because it is not a full licensed version).

  Adobe Reader is not able to create PDF files. It cannot display them.

  Once you have added a sticky note, right-click and choose Properties from the context menu. Click the general tab and enter the new name in the author text box.

  If you want all future sticky notes to bear this name, select use the default properties and then click OK.
