Image filter is not applied during playback of AVI file

I've written a VI that read images from a camera Camera Link, filtered them (edge detection applied) and displays them.  This works well.

I then wrote a VI that plays back images in the same unit and it records in an AVI file.  This works well.

I then wroe a VI that reads the images of the saved AVI file and displays them on the screen.  This works well.

However, when I changed the VI that reads the images in the AVI file, also apply the filter for detection of edge, the 'second', 'filtered' image is a copy of the original.  It is not filtered.

When I turn on the 'highlight performance', I can't see the "stream" in the filter screw, but the result is not out to the indicator displayed.

I have attached the VI for examination.

Thank you

Jeff

I suppose that - reading AVI RGB image returns, but convolution weft can accept as single-channel images.

If so, try to convert the image to grayscale before filtering, for example in the following way:

  • "Could not apply the workspace because the file was not found."

I've just upgraded to the latest version of Photoshop (CC 2015.5). Some of my photoshop files does not open and I get an error message: "could not apply the workspace because the file was not found."

I have uninstalled/installed Photoshop CC 2015.5, I uninstalled and installed two previous versions of Photoshop, I reset my preferences, and I repaired disk permissions.

    None of them worked.

    What would it be?

    Hello

Quick note giving clarification on the 2105.5.1 update: the error message that the OP has reported is inaccurate for the State. The update should simply fix the alert to note that it is impossible to open the file, instead of the misleading warning that a workspace cannot be applied.

We did not all patches to open a file that fails intermittently. We have still not an understanding of root to the problem the OP has been run in.

  • Could do audio or video during playback of video file into Windows Movie Maker.

Original title: problems using Windows Movie Maker.

I have a HP Pavilion p6310f desktop computer and I created a movie using about 16 short mpeg files. However, there are no audio or video when I play the individual files in the preview window, and when I try to play the movie, the program crashes. What could be the cause of the problem?

Reset did not help, either. Should I convert the MPEG to AVI files? I read somewhere that might help.

Give it a try. It won't hurt.

I'm out of ideas. For the benefits of others looking for answers, please mark as answer suggestion if it solves your problem.

  • Screens do not update during playback

I am running Captivate 6 on a Windows 7 computer. I use the software demo mode, and playback (I use output SWF or HTML 5), I'll often screens that linger, or "stain" at the event. For example, if a screen changes, sometimes some parts of the old screen will be visible through the new screen. The image below is an example when you save a dialog box. The overlap will continue until the dialog is closed, or the next slide appears. I considered just using another slide, but unfortunately it is not a 'clean' blade to replace it with. Is there a setting that I'm on, or am I record too fast?

    Thank you.

    overlap.PNG

Hello and welcome to the forums,

You don't specify what version of 6 (6.0.1.240 or 6.1.319), then perhaps the first suggestion is invalid: change the quality of the slide to optimized (or high) If you are stil in low quality (default in 6.0.1). If you have FMR slides I highly recommend in the future to change the record, video demo 32-bit 16 - bit as well (is valid not only for slides of HD video, but also for FMR, which is still used by automatic Capture).

Second: uncheck advanced project Compression SWF size and quality before the publish and check "Force re - publish all slides" during the publication.

I have Windows XP and made a few videos using Adope Prime sofdtware.  When I play them back on the Media Play it starts OK (both video and audio) and then the sound stops, but the video continues until the end I tried to reduce the audio file by lowering the quality, but it did not help.  This could be the cause to happen?
