• I'm told my iPod classic is not compatible with the latest version of iTunes and I need to buy a new iPod

  Seriously...?  My 'classic' 3rd gen iPod in 2003 still works fine with the latest version of iTunes and the latest OS X.  Even the original iPod should still work (assuming the iPod itself still works).  Your iPod classic 2009 is certainly consistent.  That support the needs of the person coming back through training...

  When you connect it now, it seems in iTunes?  Are you able to select in iTunes, go to the settings screen, where you see the iPod photo and name in the upper left corner of the window and a box below that?

  where the middle part (not in bold) is the version number of the plugin.

  Update from Adobe should normally remove older versions, but if they are actively used, it is possible that the update is not able to remove them.

  If you find the file, try to delete or move the temporary office.

  Firefox may not immediately realize that the file has disappeared, but hopefully that will detect only after the next time you're out and start it back up when it updates its scan plugins.

If I deleted this message, Lightroom would not open. So, I was locked out Lightroom even though I had already paid for it.

I've been using this new facility without problem for several weeks; However, when I clicked on the icon of the office tonight to open Lightroom, I got the same message again: buy it or agree to a 30 day trial.   I've updated your records and you should be able to use your license now.

  When you receive the message about the trial or a 30 day program, you should be able to choose the "Software license" option and activate using your key in order to to use without getting to re-setup.

If I update creative cloud on my OS x 10.10 disc can I still use the old version of the creative cloud on OSX 10.8.5 when I boot this disk?

  Wrmarcy Yes you can install it on both drives.  Please be aware that each facility will count as an activation.  You can activate your membership on up to two computers at the same time.  You can find more details to the enable and disable Adobe products.

  Thanks for the replies. I've got it sorted. After watching a little more closely and did a little more research, I discovered that the issue has been entirely with Acrobat 7. This situation seems to occur when you install a later version of Acrobat (same drive). It's more complex than that, but it's essential.
