Images of full size in the browser window?

Hello

I have problems trying to replicate a combination of things that I saw on a website (build in Adobe Muse). Web site - www.tatianapavlova.me

I'm quite new to dream so please bear with me if it's all relatively simple substance. I looked through a few hours of YouTube videos and not managed to get close to an answer to my problem.

I want to be able to reproduce the scalability of the slideshow, but also have the opportunity to see 'portfolio' of the Web site as soon as I start to scroll from the slide show, regardless of the size, I did my browser window.

I've included a few screen grabs to illustrate my point a little better that I probably explained above. In IMG1 you will see that my browser window is about half the height of my screen, but as soon as I start scrolling down, I can see the whites of the portfolio section. IMG2 my browser window is almost the size of my screen, but I can still see only the background of slide show of images until I scroll down.

I guess it's a kind of widget that needs to be added to the page to allow the slide show to do this, however as stated I don't know who he is.

Once again, my apologies if this is relatively easy, I am new to the program.

All the advice/help is welcome and appreciated

Thank you!

  • Set the size of the browser window?

    Can Muse define the size of the browser window when it opens. It's that I want to resize it to a certain size, when it opens the browser window.  I know you can do it using javascript, but it would mean mucking with html/javascript files after publication. I want to know if Muse can do this for me.

    No, Muse is unable to do so. If it were, it might be "mucking around with JavaScript. And at a very general level, this is just a terrible idea. It's bad behavior and rude users to mess with their office meticulously arranged windows. Or in other words: it is the design of web sites for 10 years.

    I have 4 MCs in the film. A header, content box (Center), footer and background image.
    When the browser is set to scale the background will scale proportionally to the widow and maintains its proportions.

    PS: If you know a way to do this with a cleaner code, help would be greatly appreciated... If it is already the correct code... Thanks to all the people in the community who taught me :)

    Well right after that a whole bunch of tracks and errors as much as I found the resize code is not like code reposition. Tried another code to reposition and its working great. It is also much smoother during resizing.

    Here is the code I use. Basically the bottom scales proportionally to the browser window, keeps its ratio and scales of the Center. If anyone has any advice on how to do it more easily if you please drop me a line.

  • SWF play parameters and size of the browser window

    I'm at the beginning of learning things DW and FL. I have a swf file that I converted to fla format. The swf file is set to loop continuously in read mode, and when he played is displayed in mode full screen. I want to adjust the settings to make it play only once (no loop) and open a specific size on a browser page (for example, half the size of the available window). Sounds pretty basic and should accomplish this adjustment and have not reached this level in my learning again. Any help? Thank you.

    You can put a stop() on the last frame of your main timeline to stop the main timeline of a loop.

    You can click on publish files/settings/html and select 50% x 50% for your size to see if that does what you want for the dimensioning of publish.  You can also use:

    Stage.scaleMode = "noScale";  but test with and without it.

  • How to lock the two images on BOTH edges of the browser?

    Hello

    I'm building a sensitive site and need to lock the images on BOTH edges of the browser window. I looked for relevant discussions and found a way to block the image to the left of the window by changing the settings of the site properties by setting "align left" rather than "center align".

    Help and advice on this is greatly appreciated.

    Thank you

  • WebViewer scale with the browser window

    Is there a way to start the sensible scaling of the page layout in the WebViewer (proportionally scale upward and down depending on the size of the browser window)?

    Problem: folios portrait oriented are often grown under the window of the browser. You must scroll down to see the entire page. First scroll to the end of the page, then clicking to access the page following is confusing.

    Any ideas?

  • How can I insert images of full-width that reach until the edges of the browser window?

    I would like to insert pictures full-width that reach until the edges of the browser window. When I try to do and break the boundaries of the image to the absolute limits of the page in edit mode, you can push the image back to the borders of the body in preview mode.

    I can do rectangle normal blocks full-width, but no pictures.

    Who can help me?

    1. Create a box, and then click the '100% width' along the menu bar icon to define your area to scale to the width of the browser.
    2. Import an image in the box using the parameters shown in the second picture,

  • Adjust the width of the image and position automatically with the size of the browser.

    Hi, I am trying to place an image on the left edge of the browser window, and the width of the image is 50% the size of browser window. Similar effect can be found on this Web site. Lenzing Instruments

    Note that, like the browser zoom out, the image is half of the width of the browser window and align the right edge of the browser.

    I am new to Muse. Not sure if it is possible to achieve this effect in Muse. I know that Muse adjustable width 100% image browser window, but how about 50%, 75% of the other user-defined proportion?

    Any help will be appreciated!

    By saying that I mean that you can use the features available where pine will set the location of the content, full-width makes the background or the flexible content with edges of browser. Not all items will be covered to significant effect.

    Thank you

  • Please help: content still is not fixed with background image when I resize the browser window

    I am designing a Web site and want my content appear in the same location relative to the background image, regardless of whether or not the browser window is resized. How can I do this? (the content always moves when I preview the page)

    You can pin the object on the page so that it remains in the same position with any size of the screen.

    Thank you

  • Background image to fit the browser window

    Hi all
    I would like a background image to fit the browser window with a section of content it contains / above it. I can't do too much work, but I've done a mock up for you give an idea on http://www.greenpatch.co.uk/test/test.html! The basis for the content CSS is as follows:
    #container {}
    Width: 770px;
    margin-right: auto;
    left margin: auto;
    border: thin solid #FF0000;
    top of the margin: 207px;
    }
    #header {}
    Width: 770px;
    height: 120px;
    background: url(images/newbackground.jpg) no-repeat;
    border-bottom: thick Ridge #006633;
    }
    {#contentwrapper}
    Width: 768px;
    float: left;
    }
    #left {}
    float: left;
    Width: 212px;
    }
    #right {}
    float: right;
    Width: 525px;
    padding: 10px 20px 50px 0px;
    }
    #footer {}
    Width: 770px;
    padding-top: 8px;
    Clear: both;
    padding-bottom: 8px;
    border-top: Ridge average #006633;
    background: #669966;
    }

    Any suggestions much appreciated. Thank you in advance.

    Note Although the distortion. You can use this method if you must, but I
    invites you to put some min and max limits on the size of your page. Otherwise,.
    It will look all just horrible on the ultra wide screens or 3 components.

    How to create images that react to the size of the browser (and not to the device)?

    Hello

    Please try this widget.

    Concerning

  • Is there a possible solution to this age-old problem which graphics disappear when the browser window is resized?

    example: www.satlinker.de
    If the browser window is smaller than the content, the header image seems well.
    My css stylesheet looks like this:

    #banner {
     padding-left:10px;
     text-align: left;
     font-weight: bold;
     border: 1px solid #000;
     background: transparent url(/media/header.svg) top left no-repeat;
     height: 70px; /*workaround to adjust width*/
     -webkit-background-size:100% 100%;
     -moz-background-size:100% 100%;
     -o-background-size:100% 100%;
     background-size:100% 100%;
    }

    It has nothing to do with svg, similar problems with png images.
    In earlier versions, height adjustment worked as a workaround, but no more in vesion 17.
    There are various problems like the one described in the net:
    for example Bug 282558 - sized image vanishes on browser resize.
    But I can't find any solution - and this bug is described in 2005!

    I was wrong, it was a problem with the svg format. I tried several other formats, each doing its own problems. I tried cleaning the svg with conversion tools code and finally manually with a Publisher - nothing works. GIF and jpg of other problems, so finally I have found a converter of images to http://www.files-conversion.com/, which produces an acceptable png format.

    I think that the rendering of images needs to be improved.

  • The browser window shrinks when connected to the TV c720

    Hi, hoping someone can help.

    When I connect my chromebook to my TV with a cable HDMI the window of the browser is reduced in size (on the chromebook and on TV) and I can not, then expand it. Display options (when I click the icon appearing at the bottom right) are grayed out.

    I want just the browser window as full-screen, but I can't

    So I wonder - why connect to the TV causes the window to shrink, and can I recover to full size?

    Thank you!

    Cory, you're - correction of a whole, made the last of your options with the main TV, at first it still didn't look right, then I noticed that the resolution had reset to a low, when results changed to high res, bingo, it looked like your last example and is just what I tried to achieve.

    you are a star - problem solved!

  • Page DW8 with HTML to fit in the browser window

    I created a basic html page and wish to have the page continue to fit in a browser window as the window changes size. Tried with CSS "background-size = 100%" fixed online codes, but doesn't seem to work.

    The background-size setting is only to set a background image. Would not resize the entire page.

    Several things working against you in your code. The first and most difficult to treat while using it on the page, is "position: absolute". In General, this setting is the opposite of reagent. Position: absolute "can" be used in sensitive designs, but it requires additional code to make it happen. Absolute positioning of objects include an exact amount of pixels high, left, down or to the right of the parent (just up and left by default in DW) element. In your case, #Layer1 will always be 431 pixels from the top of the page and 329 pixels from the left that is decidedly "not suitable."

    These parameters (position, top and left) must be removed and the APDiv/layer button should be ignored here on out if you want your design to adapt to different screen sizes. You will need to learn how to position elements using css float, margin and padding if you want to create something sensible. Running through the tutorials at http://www.w3schools.com/css for some databases. Some other links on css positioning...

    Learn CSS positioning in ten steps: absolute relative static position float

    CSS - float and clear formatting

    Your width settings also say your items to an exact pixel size as well. To make your attentive elements, you can use % width settings. The actual size of an element using a percent width is determined by the setting of its parent element. For example, if you set the width of #Layer1 to 80%, instead of 674 pixels, it will eventually be 80% as wide as thesetting the tag. Given that theis assumed 100% unless otherwise stated, layer1 would end up being 80% of the width of the browser window. With ' width: 60% ", you can use a setting min-width" never get smaller than that "in css. If you set your same #Layer1 width: 80% a min-width: 400px will keep it from never has less than 400 pixels wide.

    Once you have the basics of layouts css under your belt, look into CSS Media Queries. Basically what they allow you to do, is put "break points" in your .css file so "once that window reached 401 pixels or more, use this css instead" so it allows you to write completely different rules for various devices.

  • How can I keep centered slidshow regardless of the size of the browser

    I have a slideshow with 40 images stretched right to 8850.  I basically want to pin it but does not lose the left to right scrolling of the miniature container.  How can I do this?

    Currently floats slideshow when you change the size of the browser and will cover the header.  I want to keep it centered on the page regardless of the dimensions of browsers

    Any help would be appreciated with gratitude!

    Thank you!

    I checked out the site you mentioned, not exactly the same thing you mentioned (like the one you described is more reactive behavior), but you can go full-screen with slide show.

    Where the images will be suitable for all sizes of screens. I suggest to try, create a new site and then check with the images in the slide show full-width.

    Thank you
