Images of FW CS3 - Tween two JPEG

Hello

I am trying to create an animation whereby I tween one image to another, essentially to transform the image. I'm working with series of images are the front and back of a person wearing a T-Shirt.

I would like that the opacity to change so that the top image basically fades to 0%, then the second image shows 100% and that fades to 0% to 100% of the picture before and then making a loop.

This used to be so simple in ImageReady... but for the life of me I can't understand from the to do in FW. I converted each image to a symbol and then I go to the first image in the layer and select the two pictures and try to interpolate.
Symbol > Tween Instances
I get a message stating:
Before using the Tween command, select two or more instances of the same symbol from library.

So essentially it allows me only to interpolate the SAME instance? Which means that only the front forward?

How can I make sure I can tween two different things?

Or y at - it another way to tackle this problem without frame-by-frame?

Thank you

Interpolation was not intended to be used in this way. When you convert each image a symbol, they are two different symbols, then it won't work.

Instead, you can use the opacity change in animated symbols. Press F8 and select "Animation", and then in the window pop up that follows, adjust the opacity from 100 to 0.

Do this with both images and pair them up. First have a change of opacity from 100 to 0 in, say, 10 images. Then set the opacity change of the second from 0 to 100 during the same interval. (Use different layers to keep track of them.)

Copy the two symbols of the first image and jump to the last image. The layers must be empty. Paste the symbols and their reverse opacity settings. This should produce a perfect loop of a clear image in another and, through 20 images.

If you prefer a more visual approach, you can consult detailed the tutorial I wrote about the technique. :-)

(Edit: Sorry, Linda: I have not seen your answer...)

  • PSE7 - opening two JPEG images

I am trying to open 2 JPEG files at the same time (to import parts from one to the other) but I get an error message, and then the program stops.  I reinstalled PSE7 hoping that would take care of the problem, but it didn't.  This happened to someone?  Any suggestions?  I had used the program severa months without any problem before that just started to happen.

It probably has to do with your printer. See this Tech Doc from Adobe:

  • compare two jpeg taken by ip camera

    Hi people,

I have an IP camera and I need to take two pictures and compare them, and then my program must return if there is something different about the image. Taking pictures is not a problem, using an activex with the library of camera control I can use a function that writes a JPEG disc. The real problem is to compare these images. I tried to hide them, but given that the sensor is a CMOS, there is a lot of noise, and even if I take two pictures without moving anything, when I subtracted the pictures it's not not empty (black). Then I tried to use Vision Assistent or the gold model, but I could not use them because of two problems:

-first of all, most of the functions on Vision Assistent can only deal with 8-bit binary images. Does anyone knows how to convert a JPEG in this format?

-Second, when I tried to open images to use the functions of the IMAQ on my own vi, I used the image.ctl IMAQ and typed the path to images and linked to service them, but whenever I run thid kind of VI, it returns an error indicating that the file is not an image.

If you know how to solve one of these questions, or if you think of another method to compare the jpeg, please let me know!

    Kind regards

    Vitor

Hello. Here is the solution. Simply define a level of similarity (for example 1%) and use this VI. Take care.

  • images resizing and saving as a jpeg

    Dear friends,

I use CS4 to make this work (with the exception of tiff JPEG) who should follow this form:

"• All photos should be loaded with a dimension measuring at least 8.
inches, which equals 22cm, a minimum of 2000 pixels and 300 dpi
    in its resolution.
    • File size cannot be larger than 10 MB and must be in JPG format. »

And my question is this: when I save the tiff to JPEG images I already get a good file size reduction (50%) to make an image with 52MO 29 MB when it is open. If I look at the size of the image via the menu 'get info', however, this same image size is 5.5 MB. Now, for this particular use (download the images to a site where they will be available for download with 300 dpi but no more than 10 MB), which one of these two sizes (open/closed) is relevant?

I'm sorry if this post is too long and perhaps the source of confusion, but I couldn't find a better to explain it.

Thanks a lot for your help.

    JM

JPG is a compressed format. It becomes compressed during recording. It's another matter so that you have the file open. "29MB" size is an approximation of the size of acompressed of the image when you work in Photoshop.

    2. How do you save the photos?

Check if the default viewer is defined as the Windows Photo Gallery and also the jpeg, jpg, jpe file types have set of Gallery Windows as the default program to open with.

    1. Open default programs by clicking the Start button, click default programs.
      Default programs, click
    2. Associate a type of file or Protocol with a program. This option allows to refine the default programs based on Protocol or file type. For example, you can have all the .jpg image files open using a specific program, and .bmp image files open using a different program.

When I click on one of the images that are the same, they both point out, as if they are behaving like a single file.  They have the same file name and are of the same image.

    Alexandra,

The downloader of elements module does not provide an option to filter the files imported by their type (jpg or raw). You can filter only the videos photos. I'm agree it would be an asset!

    What you can do instead:

-use your operating system (Explorer / finder) to import files to your computer via your card reader: you can order your files to import extension (jpg, CR2, NEF,...) and select the raw files. Then use the function "Import" elements to import from "Files and folders" (which "registers" files in the catalog).

    - Or you can use the download of standard element and remove JPEG files later. Not very elegant, but it works.

    - Or you can use the function "Import" elements and choose in "Files and folders" instead of card reader or the camera, then go to the card reader. The card reader is considered to be a separate drive. You can select only the raws in the import dialog box by setting the order of the files in the file (CR2, NEF...) instead of file name extension. You select the first item, then shift click the last one. Only the raws are selected. Now, pay attention to have the box 'Copy' the o files. Otherwise, the elements would consider your photos on a removable drive. The photo files will be copied to your computer in a special subfolder 'photo of removable drives.

  • Why the colors in the images incorporated into word export (TIFF/JPEG) badly ruined Acrobat?

I chose this forum instead of printing and prepress forum, because I have a very limited knowledge of existing color space and profile and I didn't want to be (1) leaked and (2) overwhelmed by the level of technical detail.

When I try to PDF to a word document that contains a TIFF image, the TIFF image appears SIGNIFICANTLY off the coast of color.  I was able to significantly correct the problem by extracting the TIFF image in the Word document and save in JPEG format, but it is not yet 100%.

    Here's what I know:

    I use Windows 7; Word 2010; and Acrobat X.  I also CS5.1 Photoshop and InDesign CS4.

"My color SETTINGS are put in correspondence in each application was related to my monitor, and my monitor is set to the system default, which is a default system: sRGBIEC61966 - 2.1"

I use the document for professional purposes, so the color matching is important to me, but I work with what is available to me in a non-profit, which means a monitor Acer X183h and a networked Canon iR C5185 desktop printer and no real color management or equipment policy.

I'm looking for the best possible solution maintain the performance of color between the monitor and the printer.

Incredibly that I posted this, the solution came to me - I leave it to the moderators to determine whether it should be retained or deleted.  I wasn't able to find any help on this and it might be useful to other users.

The image itself which has been incorporated into the Word Document has a CMYK profile. It displayed correctly in the software, but would not convert to PDF or print. I have the source file open in Photoshop and converted it to my profile, and then added to the word document and it is now reliable breed in the right color.

Since the removal of the external images in word is a common work process (if there is also mediocre) for creating documents in the non-profit organization of people, I think that this type of information could be useful in the knowlegebase.

  • Reissue of links images in InDesign CS3 does not work

When I have an image that needs to be reprinted for the moment, I go to my links palette and double click on the name of the image. When the 'Link information' box appears, there is a button "Repeat" on the lower right. In CS3, for some reason, it allows me to click on it, but completely but won't let me not recreate a link to the image. This is the first time in 3 years of use of CS3, I have encountered this problem. Is there a fix, do I have to reload the program, change the preferences?

So now, whenever I have to recreate a link to an image update, I have to close the file and reopen it to automatically update the links or click the link at the bottom of the links Panel and then it pops up the file folder box.

    Help, please...

  • Slow to open the Images in Photoshop CS3

I just converted to win7 and installed PS CS3.  When I do an update check, there is no update for photoshop, so I believe that I am current.  If I open a jpg image via the file menu, or bridge, or using ACDSee, image files (or files) are slow to open.  If usually sees a message upward in the title bar of photoshop (where the logo is followed by "Adobe Photoshop CS3 Extended") where it will briefly indicate "not responding".  It started with switch to win7.  It will take 20 seconds or more to open a jpg file and is not the giant files.

Under Options/performance, I indicated to let Photoshop use 1194 MB which is the upper part of the beach.  The range that photoshop shows as ideal never changes, regardless if photoshop is running alone or with other applications.  I indicated "scratch disks" on my drives E and C, with E being the first listed.  E have more than 500 GB of free space, and C has more than 190 GB free.  History States are 20 and cache is 6.  Settings for my NVidia GE Force 8800 video card GPU has activate verified 3D acceleration.

I don't know what else I'm supposed to optimize.  I never had this problem in vista using CS3.

This is a known bug and has been reported several times in the forum.

The solution, weird as it may seem, is to make a printer driver generic default printer.

If you do not, you can download it here: http://www.adobe.com/support/downloads/product.jsp?product=pdrv&platform=win

All part of the fascinating world of Photoshop CS3.

About the status of the update, in PS go to help > on to check the version. It should be 10.0.1.
