Images of the shared folder on the desktop computer

I have Windows 8.  A duplicate of the folder my pictures came one day on desktop my computer in.   The two files have identical files.  Any action I take with photos in the folder my pictures is automatically duplicated in the folder on the desktop.  If I delete the folder on the desktop, the other gets it removed also.  I'd appreciate any help in getting the folder on the desktop is removed.  Thank you.

Hello

Right-click on the original folder of my images, and then select Properties. The location tab, see years where t says that he is... Check the same thing on the desktop...

  • vdmadmin to assign the desktop computer?

I'm giving entilements to a user in AD to access your desktop using the vdmadmin.exe command line interface.  I use VMware View Administrator 3.1.0 build-167577.

Here is an example of what I am running and see:

    C:\Program View\Server\bin VMware & gt; vdmadmin.exe-L d DesktopVM u example.com\phife757 m Pool1

Sucessfully assigned the machine specified user

When I look at the web administration interface after the above command I don't see this user, such as the right to use the desktop computer.   Sign in using the customer discovers also fails.

    I received the command from this article: http://KB.VMware.com/selfservice/microsites/search.do?language=en_US & cmd = displayKC & externalId = 100752

So I guess my questions are, I use this command properly?  If this is not the case, how could do this using the command line?

There is no option for vdmadmin command line allows users to a desktop computer, only for (UN) assign a VM specific to them within a pool of persistent. You must use the administrator user interface to set up rights to the office. recommendation of davesherman to manage rights for large pools of office using ad groups is a good way to go, you can then change the rights by changes to scripts in the group.

Hi, I see if the old REGIS trick still works,

Try a safe boot, (now shift key at startup), run disk utility in Applications > utilities, then put your drive, click on repair permissions, restart when done.

(Secure boot can remain on the gray radian for a long time, let go, he tries to repair the hard drive & clear the caches)

Create a new folder to move ro or move them where you want before normal startup,

  • How to add a Gadget in Windows 7 to display AN image on the desktop and set its size

The slide show in Windows 7 Gadget displays the images to a predefined size.
I want to increase the size of this form, if possible.

Click with the right button on the desktop background and select Customize,

Click the downstairs desktop background link on the left

Right-click on your desktop, and then select the screen for your recommended resolution setting resolution / pixel dimensions.

  • Remove image from the desktop

I have a picture on my screen, I downloaded as my display pic for my icons. (wallpaper) I tried everything I know to try to remove it! The only thing I could do was just his size to cover not my whole screen. How can I remove this pic/file?

OK, it seems that the image is corrupt, try this:

Put the following in the command run: %USERPROFILE%\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\Windows\Themes

Then deleted the bad image, then everything should work after that.

Then you should get a picture like this:

Delete this file and then try to use another image as the background.

    Let me know the results.

  • File security does not not correctly on the desktop computer

    Hello world

I have securities of problem setting on the files on the desktop. (on files work correctly)

    My problem - example:

Sign in to Windows as the user John.

Then I create the new file test.txt on desktop and set permissions to reading and execution for the user John. All users are removed from the security.

I have save permissions on the file. Then I try to delete a file and the file is deleted! (this should not happen): S

If I try the same process on the file C:\temp\test.txt and I can't delete the file. (and that's OK)

    Permissions:

Sorry for the delay, but after a large trial, sent the examples and discussions with experts NTFS, I finally found the cause.

If you don't want a user to be able to delete the files in a folder, you must remove to delete permissions to the folder that the file is stored in, not the file itself.  After my colleague told me this, I tried it on my machine and it doesn't seem to be the case.

I know earlier, I have installed Vista and it is not supported, but Windows 7 and above all this (I tried in virtual machines).
