Images open in the "painting".

For some reason any... When I click to open a picture, it will open in the "painting".  How can I change it to always open them in "MS picture viewer?

Thank you!

If you right-click on a photo and you use open with, then select Viewer MS it opens correctly, how you want that, and when I did he just change automatically. But if it doesn't help it properties right-click on the photo then theres an option that says "open with" click on modify and change it to what you want.

I hope it works for you.

I have Windows 8. I printed one of my pictures a few days ago, and now all my pictures are open in the paint and really appear very large.

    Hi Sandy,

An ideal size for an image is about 25 k. Check the properties of the image file to see the size of the image is. Do not resize the original image, resize a copy. To resize the copy of the image:

    1. right click on the image file in the File Explorer, select Open with, painting.

    2. Select the main Image, stretch/tilt menu item... Change the percentages Horizontal and Vertical at a percentage less than 100. Keep the percentages equal to maintain proportions.

3 select the main file menu item > save as to save the resized image.

    Let us know the results.

Even if you have several files open in the editor, you can only record one at a time. What you see is the folder where you want to save the currently selected file.

I know this isn't the most convenient method. What is the best approach to take without getting into a scenario of Lightbox? Opening in a new tab?

Without going to jQuery/Jquery, your solution is the only solution.  Unfortunately you can not open a new tab in the browser window, because there is currently no way to do it in HTML.  Most modern browsers will treat the new code in the window as a new tab, but that has been programmed into the browser and not the site.

If you need a more automated way to manage images you may link in a database, but your page is only HTML so I don't think it's an option you're considering at the moment.

The pop-up window appears in the bottom left of the browser Firefox. Yet once, it displays the URL by clicking on the image for each image on the Web page.

The easiest way is to use the add-on of status-4-Evar. With it, you can choose to not display the messages State or hover URL preview, or rather display them in the bar modules or the address bar.

  • Images pre edited when opened in the editor

I used PSE 11 for a few years and all of a sudden this week my images are 'self published' when opened.  When I open an image in the editor, it has already been edited a bit... it seems different from the image in the Organizer.  I want to change the images myself.  Was I accidentally turn on a few 'auto edit '?  How can I turn this off?

I just found that after the image opens in the editor, I can go Image - convert color profile - remove color profile.  It gives me the original image.  But, does anyone know how to disable this feature for good?

Something to reset elements so that the image appears in the center of the box... I can't have more than 1 image open at the same time to work on. I e I can't pass a layer on the image to the other.

OK - I got out my trusty Photoshop Elements 10 - The Missing Manual and figured it out. What I was trying to describe, it was how to make images with 'tab' images 'floating '? This has somehow reset without my knowledge. What you need to do to get your images 'Floating' back is to click on "EDIT" in your editor - at the bottom of the drop-down list hover your cursor to "GÉNÉRAL" and click on - at the bottom of the drop-down list, click in the bottom left box 'ALLOW FLOATING DOCUMENTS IN FULL EDIT MODE' - and then click OK.

    That solved my problem!

  • How to copy an image that is in format .pdf using the paint function paste in Word?

I would like to copy a table that is in a non-protected PDF document using the paint function in accessories to paste it in a Word document that I'm working on. Please help as soon as POSSIBLE.

    Hello, Edward Namalima,.

    1. first open the pdf page you want to copy.

    2. when the page is displayed on your screen, press prtscrn on your keyboard.

    3. a copy of the screen has now sent in the windows clipboard.

    4. now open Paint.

    5. on the Paint toolbar, click on edit and then click on paste. The image will now be pasted in a Paint window. You may need to accept a dialog resize if the image is larger than the current document.

    6. now, from the toolbar to the left of your screen, click on the Selection (the oblong dotted box) tool. With the selection tool, select the entire surface of the table you want to copy. Once selected, click on modifier change again, then select Copy.

    7. now, open Microsoft Word.

    8. then place the cursor where you want the table to set, and then press the CTRL and V together on your keyboard.

    9. the image of the table should now be pasted into your Word document.

Alternatively, you can use the cutting tool (click on the Start button and type snipping tool in the search field). Select the table you want in the pdf page using the cutting tool and then open word and paste the table in word.

  • Try to remove a CD image file, get the error message "this action cannot be completed because the file is open in another program.

I am trying to remove a file from CD image (.img) of my office

When I try to put it in the bin I get the message

"The action cannot be completed because the file is open in another program close the file, and then try again"

First, I checked the obvious things like if the .img file was mounted in a virtual drive - it isn't so I then used LockHunter to find which application is using the file so I can close by the Task Manager.

Unfortunately LockHunter told me that the file is used by 'System' - which cannot be closed through the TM.

    Any help?

The problem is that the program that allows you to mount the image always uses the image.  In my case I used the magical disc. Go to the start menu find the magic disk or folder folder, there should be an option to uninstall the magic disc. I tried UN-installing conrtol add and remove programs but it wouldn't let me. You can also click on computer in Start menu and see if the file you want to remove is always mounted (appears as a CD image). In this case that you can click the eject disc hit.

  • How in the paint can have the background color assumes that the background color of whatever the image is stuck on

I have a photo I am amending in paint and erased what I don't want image.  Unfortunately, now when I import the image into PowerPoint, the cleared area of the image is the color I used in painting.  How can I get the color of the image in the painting to use whatever the color of the background is where the photo is stuck?  For example, if the background in PowerPoint is light blue area which I deleted in the painting seems to light blue.

    Hi GaryDry

By default, the gum replaces any area you erase by white, but you can change the color of the eraser. For example, if you set the yellow background color, everything you clear turn yellow.

    a. on the home tab, in the Tools group, click the Eraser tool.

    b. in the colors group, click color 2and then click the color you want to erase with. If you want to erase with white, you don't have to select a color.

    c. drag the pointer over the area you want to erase.

Refer to the below links for more information.

  • How to adjust the boarders of a rectangular selection in the paint without stretching the image.

Hi, how to set the boarders of a rectangular selection in the paint without him stretch the image?

I'm afraid this is a limitation (and personally, I find frustrating) paint. Essentially, you get a chance to make a selection. A trick I learned is to zoom as high as possible, start a corner of the selection, and then (while holding down the left button of the mouse to the operation drag) hold Ctrl key while turning the mouse scroll wheel to zoom out giving a larger surface to complete the dragged selection.
