Images stretch to the width of the browser Responsive Design

I'm doing an image to fit the width of the browser in a sensitive design scheme.

To do so is greyed out. I tried to draw boxes and them, but the fill option remains greyed out.

So far, the only thing I can get to width "Stretch to the browser" is a text box.

Any help would be appreciated. !

Use the rectangle tool instead

    Hello

    Please, try the following steps.

    1 create a rectangle and make it 100% width by pressing the button width 100%.

    2 give this rectangle at the height of your choice.

    3. fill the image desired in the rectangle using fill option and make 'Center' "scale to fill."

  • Background image to fit the browser window

    Hi all
    I would like a background image to fit the browser window with a section of content it contains / above it. I can't do too much work, but I've done a mock up for you give an idea on http://www.greenpatch.co.uk/test/test.html! The basis for the content CSS is as follows:
    #container {}
    Width: 770px;
    margin-right: auto;
    left margin: auto;
    border: thin solid #FF0000;
    top of the margin: 207px;
    }
    #header {}
    Width: 770px;
    height: 120px;
    background: url(images/newbackground.jpg) no-repeat;
    border-bottom: thick Ridge #006633;
    }
    {#contentwrapper}
    Width: 768px;
    float: left;
    }
    #left {}
    float: left;
    Width: 212px;
    }
    #right {}
    float: right;
    Width: 525px;
    padding: 10px 20px 50px 0px;
    }
    #footer {}
    Width: 770px;
    padding-top: 8px;
    Clear: both;
    padding-bottom: 8px;
    border-top: Ridge average #006633;
    background: #669966;
    }

    Any suggestions much appreciated. Thank you in advance.

    Note Although the distortion. You can use this method if you must, but I
    invites you to put some min and max limits on the size of your page. Otherwise,.
    It will look all just horrible on the ultra wide screens or 3 components.

    I recently change the Image to fill the browser on my templates A and B.  I erased completely all my content on the pages of the site.  What?

    The image is perhaps in a layer above all the other layers.  I'm no expert with Muse, but I learned by experience that the order of your layers and property matters a lot.

  • Scalable image slideshow from the browser window

    Im trying to use 3-5 images in a slide show that is the width of the window of the browser here is an example of what I'm talking about http://rorymcilroy.com/

    Also where he says: I am a golfer & etc... is it possible for me to have the text appear also with each slide?

    You will not be able to create one that develops dynamically with the browser, it will have a fixed size. You can add text to slides using widgets of Composition (even if the text scrolling animation is not possible).

  • How to get the background image to fill the browser and stay fixed in IE and Firefox?

    Basically what it says in the title. I came very close to achieve, but something comes to Moor in the html and css code...

    First of all, I use the latest version of Firefox and IE8 to test this situation.

    I used 2 sources of information to get this done: 1) http://css-tricks.com/perfect-full-page-background-image/ and ) 2 http://stackoverflow.com/questions/8958697/css3-background-size-cover-doesn ' t-make-image-co-ver-vertical

    In 1 case , the example of the called page CSS-Only Technique #1 gives the code that works almost perfectly for me, except that obviously I need to a background image, but the CSS provided ago obviously just for an image has fallen in the body of a page without taking account of any other content that may already be there. "The html code that I put on the page is simply < img class ="bg"src ="... / pictures/background_image.jpg "> "

    Of course, I used the CSS code in the example, less the last piece which is "@media screen" etc., which seems irrelevant to me. Of course by replacing the values according to the picture on my page.

    So what happened was that it worked almost as expected in both browsers (which means the image filled both browsers first as it should and also remained fixed when I zoomed in, inside or outside, in each case), except that the picture went on top of the current content that I already there precisely because there isn't a background in this 'technical '. (A note on the side of curious, is that the image didn't turn down content, I expected under normal circumstances, but he went right on top of it so she she hidden (like the z-index).)

    One thing that bothers me in this regard 'technical' is that if you click on view the demo just below the code provided, you will see on the example of work page (bottom of the forest), the image clearly works as a backdrop and the content is fortunately located on top! So I don't know if the person who provides the example was trying to deceive people or what! Or he got lazy and showed another page which did not use the exact code, he has provided. No matter.

    In any case this leaves me with only half-completed work, because I still need a background image that functions as the 'normal image' code provided.

    In 2 cases and on this page, the first example provided gives the CSS for clutter - namely the code in the html {...} part and shows also the same "normal image" code as shown in box 1. In this case however, that the person provide a suggestion, the html and the css is not really properly more Moor some css and html seems a little redundant. So this time, when I used the part "html" in the CSS code (i.e. just the bit that was no longer relevant), I had two different behaviors in each browser and neither of which was quite what I'm looking for. In IE8, initially the page seems well (background fills the page and the content is on top) but when I Zoom in or out the background also zooms in or out accordingly so is NOT fixed. In Firefox, the background image stays fixed, but because the image is initially not the height of the browser I guess the code it extends down (keeping the proportions - so the image enlarges essentially) to fill it. The fast way to get around it is probably add white space at the bottom of the image just to give it sufficient height is not extensible / resize automatically. But it would be nice to know at least how to work around this problem in the code. Overall, I would say that the result in Firefox is closest to the desired solution, but of course it is not arranged things with IE8.

    Apologies for the long description, but which should at least provide much info for anyone who might have a possible solution for me. Essentially what would be great is if someone could advise me how to take the code of case 1 and apply it to a piece of 'background' coding as the type that is contained in html {...} in Case 2 . Like I said, it is almost there, but I just can't operate atm after trying to combine different bits of code this way and that... Also, if anyone has another version of html-css that works well to achieve then please by all means of let me know! V thanks a lot in advance!

    It works in modern browsers of the CSS3 support.  But not pre - IE9.

  • Fixed image format in the browser of the end user

    Hello..

    I have a music site. www.vitaguitar.com and I'm trying to figure out how to keep the .swfs scaling if the browser is resized. The strange thing is he has messed up only (pixalated) when the browser is expanded vertically. You can stretch the horizontal browser and this doesn't change anything. Also... When I test locally (in flash)... It's all good. The size is not affected and looks great. I tried to publish using film game + no scale with no luck. When I test the html code on the spot, they remain the same size, regardless of how I the size of the browser. Should I be using the published HTML and change the code to not scale? A little confused here. I downloaded the .swf and the flv and html to the host. I can implement the code and would appreciate any help I could get. I have a few important music people who need to see the site, but if it browser happens to be enlarged... I'm in trouble with stretched pixelated (flv) movies! Also, I realize account I do smaller file sizes, but just need to cross the first hurdle. Thank you so much in advance!

    go to: http://www.vitaguitar.com/index.html

    so, the problem is that your site uses no index.html when you go to http://www.vitaguitar.com.  It is used to http://www.vitaguitar.com/index.swf.

    you will need to change this in the settings of your server or .htaccess file.

  • Image appears in the browser, but not in DreamWeaver

    I inserted an image into my HTML page, but a grey icon (which looks like a corrupted page) appears instead of the image in Live View and Design view.

    However, when I open the page in a browser, or I test on a browser through DreamWeaver, the image appears as it should.

    How can I solve this problem and have the image to display normally in DreamWeaver? I need to see in order to map the hotspots on it for a refinancing plan.

    Thanks in advance!

    First check to see if the image is saved as RGB and not CMYK color space. Check the size of the images as if his big Dreameaver may not show. I mean it's 3 MB or 300 k check also that the image has been inserted into the page Dreamweaver as 'document' rather than 'site root' parent that you can choose when inserting the image.

    Default if she presents in the browser and then bind us in the page and I'm sure that someone will be able to determine why its not no projection in Dreamweaver

  • Height of the browser responsive

    I am designing my first photography website and I'm having a spot of trouble with the height of the sensitive browser (if it's still a thing!). Im trying to get an effect similar to this one (Victoria Phipps |) Wedding & Portrait Photographer) where the page opens to an image full screen and the rest of the Web site starts with the bottom of the browser window, no matter the size of the window.

    If someone can point me in the right direction, I would be very grateful!

    To repeat exactly as in your example, is custom code required for CSS and Javascript. This is not possible with the standard tools of Muse

  • How do you "extend to the width of the browser' 2 boxes next?

    I'm sure it's super simple but I can't seem to understand this...

    There is no problem in taking a unique, filled with an image rectangle shape... and selecting stretch to the width of the browser so it actually extends.

    But when I take 2 forms of rectangle and place them side by side and select them both, if I type "extend to the width of the browser" it will just take 1 box and stretch her, not keeping their split.

    When I combine the 2 boxes, the option for 'stretch to the width of the browser' is a party.

    What I am doing wrong?

    Thank you all!

    Hello Integraoligist,

    I just checked and found that stretch to the browser width option will be grayed out after grouping.

    However, I found a solution for you.

    The image of the Group and click on the small arrow at the stop bar pointing the direction inward outward and stretch your boxes of image on the edge of your browser manually.

    Let me know if it works.

    Kind regards

  • How can I make an image tile length of the browser without using it as a background image?

    I understand that if you use the rectangle tool and stretch it to the edge of the page, triggerring the red margin, the tile image is supposed to stretch the length of the browser. While this works for width, coating horizontally, for some reason, it doesn't work for the length, Tile vertically. When I saw my work in the browser, the tile image stretches with the footer that I scroll to the bottom of the page.

    When I use the image as the background fill and tile it, it works, but I need to use a different image for the background.

    Hello

    As you said you can either use your browser complete with fitting tile or design the background image browser outside the Muse using any image editor like Photoshop and then use as fill for browser that would include the two images that you want to use as a background image and you want to use as tile on the section of the page.

    Thank you
