ImageView and pan / zoom

Hi all

I'm in a situation where I need to use a control to display an image and it pan on the trail. Also this control will have to be able to zoom in the image to pinch, but I was informed that no event is pinch cascading far, so let's focus on the element of pan. When the user touches the ImageView (on contact) should be able to move when the finger moves. I know that ImageView does not support this feature, but what steps do I take to integrate it?

Let's say I have loaded the image of a path and I have a QImage stored somewhere I used its data to display an Image in ImageView. How to apply view ImageView? Or if you can't, how can we establish an image control, which can pan (for now) and zoom (in the future)? Basically, I'm looking for an equivalent of Cascades of this example of feature Native called gestures: https://developer.blackberry.com/native/sampleapps/.

I don't need all the features of this example. I need information how to move an image in a cascade control.

Thanks in advance.

Yes, you can place an item in a container smaller than the size of the element but the container must be done with scrolling (scrollMode: ScrollMode. Both) so that it knows to allow the biggest child element to exceed his limits.

For the ferry, just take a look at the example of PullMyBeard, it shows how to listen for events from key and move an ImageView with tactile movement:

If you have problems of application please let us know.

  • Import background image and the ability to zoom and pan

I need to write an application that takes an image file (jpeg, bitmap, etc.) and the applied inside a window of labview.  I need to be able to zoom in on a selected area and panoramic in all directions.  The zoom and pan feature can use external controls.  If someone has done something similar?  I think using an image control but the zoom and pan is the problem.  I have to re - draw a smaller section of the original image.  Is there a better way to do it?  Thanks, any help would be appreciated.

Not exactly what you are looking for, but should give you an idea.  Click and drag to pan, use the scale to zoom.  At the moment it loads a PNG file, you can change at any shape you want.

  • PE13 / Scaleing Photos in video / Pan & Zoom

I thought that I had presented this 7 hours or if there is and I wondered why no reply until I didn't see any trace of it.  In any case, try to second:

    PE13.1 on WIN7 64 bit Intel PC.

Insert digital pictures in a video and using Pan & Zoom.

I studied tutorials such as: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YhLBAT_kLHs

I learned to set "scale to the size of the frame = OFF".

I set the time to 'Hold' to zero...

The recommendation when you include digital photos in a video HD is to reduce the Image to 2000 x 1500.

    We mainly use a Canon EOS 550 d, where images are 5184 x 3456.  Can I reduce to 2250 x 1500 via IrfanView.

HOWEVER: when we Pan & Zoom, we will perform a zoom in on a part of the photo then don't really want us

as much resolution as we can get in order to preserve good quality as PE claculate all frames

between the beginning and end of the movement?

    Thoughts?

I appreciate that the more data we have by photo more rendering will be.

In general, I am from almost 100% of the inserted picture and then pan and zoom to 25% of the surface (not down to a blade of grass!).

I also intend on reports on a number of issues I had with Pan & Zoom, but of course, when I was

attempt to reproduce for posting this everything worked very well

Which is detailed my self in the next Adobe thread, post 6

When you run Premiere Elements as a 64-bit application, you do not get the project that prevents you from importing the image with the number of pixels above the limit of 32-bit application. I do not know the max, but I took several pixels file 10000 x 7500 in the first elements 64 bit application without problem. But, just because I have does not mean that I should. • Lightroom more slowly than Lr5 cc and struggling for simple cropping and Pan

I wonder if there is something wrong here. I have a decent machine (2500 k overclocked to almost 5 GHz, GTX570, 8 GB ram, Lr, installed on a SSD).

LR5 me served well for a long time, and despite its slowness to certain tasks, it is ok. On the other hand, CRD offers very little new features and a decrease in performance.

I change some 20mp canon raw files and the task simple or cropping/rotation/Pan became a nightmare. It's slow and something seems to be very bad when I try to recrop a virtual copy of an image. At the top very slowly, moving the clipping rectangle sometimes guard reset its position and "refuses" to stay in the place I put it to.

When I zoom and pan on library mode, everything is going well, he gets only bad on developer mode. If I zoom 1:1 and have some adjustments with the brush of spotting, it feels like I'm panoramic a gigantic file on a 20 year old computer. Even in a clean image with no adjustment, developer mode fight bad pan with zoom.

My catalog has around 40 000 files, but it should not matter when a single photo developing. Once again, the same catalog was LR5 and had many questions.

Checked the use of computing resources, and nothing is really forced to the limit. Total memory usage never exceeds 5 GB (about 8 GB) and the CPU usage does not raise above 40%. If believes that CCRB does not have good use of the computing power available.

Just replying to me here, I tried to disable this option in preferences > Performance to use my graphics processor and the performance boosted immediately. It is now at the same level as the Lr5.

I use the version of 350.12 (later like today) of the Nvidia with a GTX570 driver. Apparently, there is a problem on the way that CCRB uses my video card. I hope that this problem is corrected, but at least now my LRcc is usable.

  • Premiere Elements use a "line rate" for pan/zoom?

Pan/zoom of Premiere Elements function has some sort of option accelerate/decelerate, selectable by the user, be integrated with the pan/zoom?

By speed up/slow down, I mean the pan/zoom will start very slowly, then over a period of a second or two, speed up for some constant speed to move the distance defined by the user in time defined by the user and then at the end of the pan/zoom, decelerate over the last second or two at a stop.

Makes the pan/zoom seem much more "opposite human/organic"...as to, 'robot-like' if the pan/zoom does not gently accelerate/decelerate at the beginning and at the end. "

  • Why the Pan & Zoom Tool cannot start with the frame using photos

I used the animation panning and zoom in Microsoft Movie Maker - and want the same ease of use in any other program (I find that he does a great job of a soundtrack placement and text/image) see options from the menu below...   I purchased Premiere Elements after watching a short video of the pan & zoom tool - but now I'm trying to use it it falls way short.

Y at - there a way for me to select the whole photo as the starting frame – in the screenshot below that frame 1 will extend to the entire photo, so I'm going with a cropped image.  I want the full Frame of the photo and then be able to zoom and pan in the direction of faces - while I can still do it with the cropped image I lost part of my picture and the context it provides.

  • Keyframing Pan/Zoom - how to simplify?

I want to do a simple effect where I start the clip centered at 100% and zoom to off-center at 120%. So, basically, keyframing size and position on the length of the fastener.

To do this, I do the following steps:

1 Select the item in the timeline

    2. make sure that the CTI is at the beginning of the clip

    3. Select the effects tab

    4. open the section position and set a keyframe for the size and another keyframe to the position

5 back to the item in the timeline panel and press 'End' to ensure the CTI is at the end of the clip (the 'End' key does not move ICT in the creation of keyframes Panel)

    6. turn in the effect controls panel

7 set a keyframe for the size and another keyframe to the position

    8. in the screen, use the framework to expand and move the chassis according to the needs. Alternatively, type a number in the field of zoom percentage.

That's a lot of steps freaking do something I do a lot!

Ideally, I would like to at least be able to click one button and have a PP automatically:

    • Create a keyframe to zoom on the first frame of the selected clip
    • Create a keyframe to zoom to the last frame of the selected clip
    • Create a keyframe position to the first frame of the selected clip
    • Create a keyframe position to the last frame of the selected clip.

Does anyone know an easy way to do this? I think that retouching that Pan/Zoom has one of the most common effects, and I can't believe that we need so much mousing and clicking to do such a simple effect!

I have a keyboard to play, then I could program some macros typo, but I don't think that I could program switching between panels so any solution should be based entirely on the keyboard.

    TIA!

FYI, I just update this thread to say that I was able to do exactly what I want using Presets (explanation here).

Basically, I just took any clip and applied the effect I want. For example, to zoom I would keyframe the Motion > scale: put a keyframe to the beginning of the clip that is 100%, then another near the end of the clip that is 120%. You can then right mouse click on the video effect of movement and select "Save Preset" with the option "scale".

Then in the future, I can simply apply registered 'Zoom In' preset to any clip. Once applied, I can always open the Panel of the effects to tweak the effect (say maybe move the image key, or 150% instead of 120% zoom).

Other presets I have found useful: Zoom out, Fade In, Fade Out, Fade In + Fade Out (useful for title cards) and fast color corrector to boost contrast and saturation.

  • How to automate the pan/zoom functions?

    Version: Adobe Premiere Elements 12

    OS: Windows 7

I do a lot of fixtures where most of the video is photos.

Is it possible to automate the pan/zoom in a random way, I can change it later to my taste?

Most of the time, I have a lot of photos, if I do frame-by-frame manually it will take me forever. It is not really an option...

I am happy to buy an add-in, if anyone knows of any.

  • Interactive buttons in a Pan & Zoom

    Hello

I was wondering if there was a way to have interactive buttons in a Pan & Zoom?

I understand that you can only use JPEG or PNG for Pan & Zoom. Y at - it a way for a specific place in the Pan & Zoom button. For example, if someone has seen Iphone London Tube map application, where it's just a picture of the tube map, it has a pan and zoom on it, but that's all. I wonder if I could (using for example tube map application) to ensure that you can pan and zoom around the image (map), but when you find the destination of tube, you want you could click that link to something else?

I think it's the best way I could explain it.

You cannot do this with the pan DPS incorporated and zoom overlay. You should write this in HTML5 and use the web overlay to display it.

When you use the "pan & zoom" Folio overlay feature rounded corners do not work correctly on the sidebar content. Instead the image inside the frame "pan & zoom" spills out the rounded edge creating a bad time for those who like rounded corners and rounded corners are ignored...

    Steps to reproduce the bug:

1 place an image on the stage, select a rectangular frame and click on the yellow box.

    2. set the rays of all the four corners together or a corner, is okay, as long as at least one of the corners are round.

    3. place oversized inside the box content, select the container with rounded corners and turn ON the overlay of Folio "pan & zoom".

    Results:

When you test the document the corners rounded initially seems to work; However, after the activation of the function "pan & zoom" with a click/touch content charging as expected, but spills outside soft rays of four corners.
