IMAQ write bmp conversion problem

I automatically tries to get a 3-d chart to write the content of the image in a bitmap image, I am currntly using the property node "get image", and then the bmp.vi 'write' but gives a bitmap of poor quality as well. I found simply right-clicking on the front panel and with the help of "copy data" and then paste it into ms paint gives really good quality. (see attachment) So:

There are two ways to write a bmp file, as I discovered: [n/b, I am running 8.2 lv]

writing bmp.vi & imaq write bmp.vi

the bmp.vi of writing requires an input of a cluster with the image data it contains in the form of a 1 d table, the bmp of writing imaq simply to an input image.

Q: is there a good way to convert between them as the bmp.vi of writing returns less Muslim bitmaps imaq writing bmp.vi is capable of.

Or is it a way to dirrectly read an image other than 'get image' use 3d as a method node? or data 'copy' lets get data wrote?

Chears John P.

Hi John,.

If you set number of bits of the image get invoke node to be 24, that this feature will also define the bitmap that you write to drop to 24 bits.  Simply connect to a constant of 24 to terminal nodes invoke bit depth.

  • IMAQ JPEG image conversion problem string

Hi, I'm using the format JPEG decode VI to decode an image string I get a camera at Black fins. It works fine when I run VI himself, but when I use it as a subvi the program crashes. Anyone have advice?

This is a picture of my program

It's the way the file is returned to the camera

'I '. «#IMJxs0s1s2s3...» » Enter the JPEG compressed video image

x = size of the frame in pixels:
    1 = 80 x 64, 3 = 160 x 120, 5 = 320 x 240, 7 = 640 x 480, 9 = 1280 x 1024

    s0s1s2s3 = size of the image in bytes (s0 * 256 ^ 0 + s1 * 256 ^ 1 + s2 * 256 ^ 2 + s3 * 256 ^ 3).
    ... = full frame JPEG

Note that sometimes the 'I' command returns nothing if the robot camera is busy, then the 'I' command should be called as many times as necessary until a framework is returned

I changed the format JPEG decode VI by changing the plans of red and blue color. I don't know if this caused the problem though.

  • Problems with IMAQ write file.vi

Hello, I am new to the community, and I have some problems with a Labview program, I received from a colleague. The program is written in Labview 8.6 and control (Guppy 160 b & w) camera and one-step translation. The camera is supposed to take 2 pictures in grayscale when the scene is in a certain position. Bmp images are safed using IMAQ writeFile.vi. For the configuration of my colleagues, it worked, but I get the following error message:

"Error 1074396080 occurred to IMAQ Write queue.

    Possible reasons:

IMAQ Vision: Invalid Image Type (Hex 0xBFF60450). »

and the files that are written are empty.

There is also no information using Labview extended regarding the IMAQ writeFile.vi. I found IMAQ 2.vi writeFile, but use it I get the same error as before. I don't know what to do. Can someone help me? Thank you in advance!

    Hello

I started a project using the Vision Development Module and I'm stuck in the templates backup in a folder.

I have tried many other 'methods' using the same Imaq write file 2 and all have the same error...

    Below is a basic example.

Maybe someone can provide a correct solutions or give me an idea on what might be wrong.

    I'm losing my mind soon

PS: I gave full control access to all users...

    Hello

'build path' feature to add the name to the model. You can do this in several ways (as a constant, dynamically, etc...).

An example of the use of a constant is illustrated below:

  • Is IMAQ write file 2 part of license acquisition?

    Hey!

We do an application used for presentation and image acquisition. I noticed that if we build this type of application (by using only VI of the acquisition of the vision) on our license labview 2009, no run-time license is necessary for our customers. I would like to know if I'm aloud to use IMAQ write File2? Is there a list of VI which I am aloud to use.

    Thank you!

    Hello

I would like to know if I'm aloud to use IMAQ write File2? Is there a list of VI which I am aloud to use.

IMAQ Write queue is free of licensing issues

Is there a list of VI which I am aloud to use.

The screws are installed with NOR-IMAQ and Acquisition of Vision Software?

  • Easily accessible images AVI - BMP Conversion extraction

Hi, Im at a roadblock now, I have to extract frames of an AVI video then convert BMP images and load/apply a texture to an object in a 3D scene. Now the problem is not extract frames, Ive managed to extract the images using the available screws of AVI IMAQ but Im stuck after that.
I found the 'writing BMP file' VI under the utilities of Vision, one of the terminals of the VI says 'File path' which means the way he's going to write the file is now? Or...?
Secondly, I can't find a way to load/save lots of BMPS at the same time. The texture that I apply to the object comes to a BMP image (and in this case, a lot of BMP images extracted from AVI video) just by using the "Read file BMP" vi, which leads to the directory/path of the BMP on the PC. This is where the problem lies, I need the vi 'Read BMP file' was updated constantly, every 'x' seconds to account for the number of frames / FPS of the video then she reads each frame of the video as its update. But if I need to save the accquired executives AVI MPG I don't see a way to do this.
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

  • Forefox convert a web address to a link, I don't like I want to write without conversion

I'm writing/conversion of pages for the mobile (smartphones). I wrote a list of links. The text for each of the elements of the link is the web address, but I want to connect the linkfunction to a button (the best way for phones).

When I write www.xzy.dk as text not as a linkaddress, Firefox convert to linkaddres and follows my ccs style for links and not the style for the text.

As fare I see ist a problem in Firefox 19 yesterday I installed automatically on 18 19

Start Firefox in Safe Mode to check if one of the extensions (Firefox/tools > Modules > Extensions) or if hardware acceleration is the cause of the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox/tools > Modules > appearance).

  • Tecra S2 - write on DVD problems

I have a Toshiba Tecra S2 under XP Pro SP3. He has a stack * a UJ - 831S - DVD - RW drive. I have long written files to the DVD-R and RW - simply by drag-and - drop in Windows Explorer. I've updated to SP3, a few weeks ago, and now I find that while I can read previously recorded or original DVDs and CDs without problem, I can't do anything with blank DVDs. When empty, the drive appears in my computer as a DVD RAM drive D:, but when I put in a blank DVD, it changes the description of the CD player, and when I try to access the DVD, I get the message "D:\ is not accessible. Incorrect function ". As it should be for the DVD, the CD registration area is not checked in the properties of the drive.

I don't know if the problem is related to the upgrade to SP3 that I have not used the DVD player immediately before and immediately after the upgrade, but I don't have the problem three weeks before the upgrade when the last, I used the function. I used Device Manager to confirm that the most recent driver is installed for the DVD player. If I start the software Sonic RecordNow, that I can write on a DVD without problem - it is just the ability to drag-and - drop in the Windows Explorer that has been lost.

    Any help gratefully received.

  • Write Waveform files problems

I have problems using the command 'writing of the waveform to the file. Perhaps the problem lies elsewhere. The problem is that even if the path is correct on my front panel indicator, a file is never created. The path to the file is created by using the location of the folder and by creating the file from the timestamp of the time of execution of the program. I would be grateful if someone could explain a solution.

Your loop never ends?  This wave function to write to a file is outside the loop, then it won't work until once the loop is completed.

  • IMAQ write JPEG file error

    Hello

I am trying to save the image captured by a camera (.tiff) to the JPEG file, but it came with an error. Can someone tell me how to solve this problem?

The VI of the sample and the TIFF image file are attached. Thank you very much.

    Jane

VI "IMAQ decide" is not used immediately after you create the image with the "IMAQ Create" VI and closes a session will deal with you later, you must also change the location in which to save the image, because at the location "C:------' and ' C:------temp------" often generates problems with permissions of the operating system.

    Kind regards.

  • String to number conversion problem

I have a VI that pulls in data from a device using VISA, and I got it on another computer to work a few weeks back. I had to transfer the VI to a laptop computer to run a few tests, and now I can't make it work. I am unable to put my VI because the laptop on it's is unable to access the network companies, I will do my best to explain it all, I apologize for the inconvenience! My problem is not however with VISA, it's with an exit VISA number conversion chain.

I have attached a painting drawing of VI to better explain it.

I use the block series Visa football match in baud rate and all that many good things to the unit and port settings set of device management. Then, a while loop is entered. The loop will run until you press the stop"" button. The next block of visa is the writing block, he asks for a reading of the device. The next block of visa is the first block of reading, he returns playback in the form of "NA-XXX. X' where x are numbers. The next block of visa is the second reading block, this block just echoes back the command sent to the device. Playback of the first visa read block, "NA-XXX. X' is going exponential/fractional chain to digital converter.

When you perform a run/debug to highlight run, the release of visa reports the correct value, is the value of the device reading - however the string to number converter generates a 0,000, no matter what channel number is. I am at a loss as to what may be wrong because it's the EXACT set up I had to work very well a few weeks ago!

I'm using Labview 10 on the laptop, the old computer was labview 7. I'm guessing that this is perhaps the rub... I Redid the VI from scratch, although I have not opened the old VI in labview 10.

Any help would be appreciated. Again, sorry I am unable to attach the VI.

    DARB wrote:

Would it not have been easier to just post a screenshot? You might also have used the Tool of Capture of Code. (Which reminds me that I need to install it to my previous versions of LabVIEW, as evidenced by the screenshot I took. )

As to the question: you probably either:

    • employee analysis of chain initially and when you rewrote the VI you used the regular string conversion functions.
    • Wired an offset value in the string to the number function.

  • CRIO-9066 FIFO data conversion problem

I'm having a problem with a multiple element SGL FIFO on a cRIO-9066 where data is not read correctly.  Here is the configuration:

I have two Host - to - Target FIFOs, identical except for type: FXP is the other SGL.  Both are 16-element.  Data SGL which are read turns a conversion error.  A sample minimum (2014 for the 9066) project is included.

The example works fine if the FIFO SGL 1-element; something more big fails.  Is not supported on the same 9066 thought that the project allows the creation?

    Thank you

It seems that maybe it's a bug in the Simulator.  Exit the simulation mode, run it on your target and watch the interactive mode in this way.  The results are what you expect.  It is strange that they would be converted at some point.

  • Rocket conversion problem! Help!

I was very happy to buy a 8 GB Sansa Fuze, especially for watching videos!   then I found out what a major concern (apparently), is to convert videos for use!  Arrgh!   I have several AVI and OGV videos I want to convert and display on my rocket.  They are long at LEAST 45 minutes (if it is 1-2 hours).  Space on the "rocket" is NOT a problem.

I tried the following procedure to get these films on the "rocket" to display:

Run AnyVideoConverter (by AnySoft) which is a free video converter software.  The output is set to MP4 (which is what I understand that MSC requires.

I find the converted file to ensure that it is intact and complete (full length).

I run the SMC, taking THIS file as input (and will automatically exit the "rocket").

When I view the movie on the "rocket", it works well, but it is WAY SHORT!  I have maybe 1/4 of the full movie.

I must point out that WHENEVER I launch the SMC, it FREEZES just as it writes to the device.

    Any help would be appreciated!

Why beat your head against the wall?

    Just use Video4Fuze.

  • MS Paint jpeg bmp conversion

I want to store thumbnail images of bmp in an access 2007 database to be included in the reports. Currently images are in jpg and png files my system. Is there a way to batch convert these images in bmp? I used Irfanview and other applications, but their best management practices not displayed as images in the access report. Only MS Paint BMPS seems to work!

    Hello viper_uk,

Thank you for using the Microsoft Windows Vista Forums.

    • Open the JPEG file in MS Paint.
    • Click on file, then click on "Save as".
    • A "Save as", opens before you.
    • Under Save As Type, select BMP & then save the file.

    Hope it will work.
