iMessage free or not?

Is still free iMessage when I use more cell and data cell phones but overseas? (as on wifi and abroad?)

Thank you for answer.

iMessage is free as long as the person who deals with this issue is using WiFi.  That's all we can say in general.

Yet once the iMessage user will not be charged until it uses WiFi.  There is saying anything here about the person at the other end to send/receive, or what happens if a cellular carrier is involved.

You may lose everything.  iMessage, like most e-mail services, don't keep permanently undeliverable messages.  They only keep in the short period send queue (I don't know exactly how much time but some Apple tech sites indicate no more than 10 days to two weeks) until they are purged.  That's pretty standard as otherwise, large volume, messaging services would be sitting on tera-bytes of messages not delivered each month.

You actually have to change my phone number?  If not, let alone sign and only in iMessage when you have the new phone with this set of numbers upward to the service.

  • For my new iPod Keynote free or not?

Hi, I am trying to get two files of keynote on an iPod that I just bought new at the Apple Store on June 7, 2016 (two days ago). I read this article(updated a few months ago) who says I can get free Keynote on my 16 GB iPod. But when I followed the instructions in this article and go find Keynote in the category 'Designed by Apple Applications' on my iPod, it is listed as $9.99. What gives? It is free or not? BTW, I 'm connected with my apple ID and I just did an update yesterday (for iOS 9.3.2). How do I can just download it as the article says? Thanks for the ideas you may have!

    Peter

I actually bought the iPod on Monday (June 6). Friday today (June 10). The article still reads "If you bought a device with iOS 9 or later, it's 16 GB or smaller, or if you updated your device existing iOS 9 or later version, you can download applications for free.» Follow these steps... "But when I followed the steps, iTunes always said that these fee of $10.

Honestly, this sounds like a problem of carrier. Are you able to make/receive calls or send and receive text messages? I would first check with the carrier to make sure that your phone is still set up to use mobile data. Something was accidentally deleted when they merged your bills.

    Hello

    I downloaded the ISO 4 ESXi (VMware-VMvisor-Installer - 4.0.0 - 164009.x86_64.iso) and installed on our server.

When I connect through the vSphere Client, I get the warning: it is in trial mode for 60 days.

  • iMessage Apps does not

I have installed iOS 10, but applications that had installed iMessage extensions (giphy, opentable, etc.) do not work and the icon appears only in the app drawer do nothing. Anyone else experiencing the same thing? I already rebooted the phone but it seems that they do not work.

Same thing here! I might add that I've updated all my apps on iOS 9, perhaps, that makes the difference. They start working when you delete apps (from the home screen - not just the apps iMessage part) and re - download from the App Store. But according to applications compatible iMessage how you and who, which can be a pain in the you know what...

  • iMessage problem does not receive past messages

I recently left the country for a month had to remove my sim card to avoid any roaming charges. When I came back I put my card back in and realized that I had not received one of my last iMessages or missed calls a month. Even during my trip, I had wifi but without the sim card I have still not got any iMessages. I called apple about the problem and my phone carrier and have updated my phone to the latest version, but nothing has worked for me. Basically, I'm trying to just go back one month messages and missed calls that may be important for me. Any thoughts?

You will get back iMessages old. They are not be stored anyhere for you to recover from. In regards to missed calls, I'm not aware of your rack system record any kind of list of missed calls, but the carrier must be the one to answer that question. Unless the caller has left a voicemail, calls are gone.

  • iMessage is still not reliable for 2012

Read about the lack of reliability of iMessage, it seems to happen from 2012.

The upgrade to Yosemite to 10.10.5 did nothing to make it more reliable?  My question is

He is sending my computer, but I'm told that a message was sent a text message for me.

If the message is a text message that have sent you, Messages he will receive unless you have an updated iPhone in place to relay the text message on your computer.

  • iMessage works do not for a single contact?

    Hey everybody,

I don't know if it happened to a lot of other people before (I'm looking for so long, but I don't see anything really on it exactly), but when I send messages to my contacts in a personal conversation, not to send my messages, and I get a banner saying "this user is not registered with iMessage. I asked some of my other contacts to the message also this contact in their private conversation - and it worked perfectly fine. This first happened to me yesterday on my laptop and when I tried it on a mini iPad, that he did not say why the message has not been sent - in fact it gave me the option to send one - but they wouldn't send anyway.

This contact is in a focus group and, well, these messages send perfectly well. I also know that this is probably not something that happened on their side, because they are currently out of town and without electronic devices use iMessage on. I don't know what can be the problem - all my other contacts work - and why they are "not registered with iMessage" for me, all of a sudden?

If anyone can possibly help, I would really appreciate it!

    Thank you.

I suspect this person turned either OFF iMessage, or that they are no longer an iPhone and forgot to cancel the registration of their telephone number with Apple.

If this person is in another discussion group, check if the conversation bubbles are blue (iMessage) or green (SMS).  If they are green, then they receive the messages in this thread because they are regular SMS text messages.  But yourself, if you send a message to them then Apple servers will attempt to send an iMessage since their phone number has been registered (simultaneously) to an iPhone.  Here, the solution would be to have this person to cancel the registration of their telephone number with Apple:

  • iMessage app works not properly

There is a very old problem that happens to be still ongoing. I am not able to see photos sent recently in a conversation with iMessage. It says "Download" and the length of the file but doesn't download ever, even a little.

I have 4 devices app Messages or iMessages: an iPhone 6 and 2 new iPad a 'OS X El capitan' Mac and a Macbook "OS X El capitan".

The error occurs with all of them. Recently, I had this same error so I followed some instructions on the internet, like the new signature of the apple devices account, and I solved it, kind of miracoulosly because it past spontaneusly not directly related to my new start... Maybe it took some time... But I again do the same even and it does not work. I re started all devices together, I registered on my account in all devices and always have the same problem.

    Can I get any help?

I'm starting to think he needs a patch to Apple... it's a very weird error.

    Hello

You use a firewall/Port and app to filter IP address such as Little Snitch.

Used in its unaltered form Little Snitch shows all connections, both entering and leaving the computer tries to do.

In the Panel/alert in any case offers several options to allow permanently to deny.

In contrast to the firewall of the CMA that there is no connection process of an application so that transfers of files for iMessages (or even separate AIM and Jabber accounts) can be blocked because name is not recognized.

This was highlighted on the list generated from Start Up and launch apps display this element.

This is the iMessages Account Login at Startup Messages to the top.

The image element above covers all accounts in the Messages and the connection n the back ground for offline, messaging and the connection, and then at the launch of the Messages app.

The below is to the Yahoo connection if you have one.

There is a process that appears at startup this iMessages file "IMRemoteURLConnection" transfers but a File Transfer as part of the name.

There is another one with a very similar name that takes care of the GOAL and a Jabber account that you can use in Messages.

The pop alert/allow ups look a bit like this

This one is to launch Messages represent about allowing video and Audio Only talk with AIM and Jabber accounts.

    This seems likely.
