A hidden destination cannot be shared by multiple hyperlinks... I checked ALL categories and ensured that all text fit in the frames. I've removed the table of contents and has tried to create a new one and got the same error. Really don't know what I'm missing here as it was the ONLY thing that I did edit the categories some... In addition, I don't know of any other information that I provide here to show you the whole. I thank in advance for any help, you may be able to provide!

  Have you ever tried to delete the iMovie preferences?  If the elements of the user interface do not, deleting preferences frequently you contribute.

  To delete the iMovie preferences leaving iMovie, runs, and then press and hold options and command key at the same time, at the launch of iMovie. Keep now pressed the buttons firmly until you see a command prompt to remove the preference. Confirm.

  

  Before you do, take note of all the settings that you made in iMovie preferences panel, so you can put back them later. iMovie will then begin with the Welcome screen.

  When I had a similar problem, the only thing that helped was to create an iMovie library.  Probably a corrupted in the iMovie project current library prevented the creation.   The problem persists, if you test different library in iMovie? You can create a library for testing.

• First Elements 9 does nothing after loading; don't load new project - please help!

  Hoping someone here can help...

  From the outset, I must admit that I'm not the best to search the Internet to find answers to complex computer problems (or at least complicated for me). I did my best to try to find help or information to the problem I'm having, but ended up only more confused and frustrated.

  I was able to run to first Elements 9 on my old PC (Windows 7 - home page) for a while with no problems. However, just last week I did splurge on a PC brand new (Windows 10) and can't get Premiere Elements to function properly at all.

  My problem:

  Premiere Elements will be charge. The program opens. He will ask me to name my new project, I do it, and then it does nothing. It does not load a project timeline/layout / anything. It is just an open window and empty. All menu options for what that this either in the upper part are all grayed out - apart from the creation of a new project, open a project and help options. Create a new project does nothing - as I have already said. I have no plans to open it, I find myself with options here. If I try to open one that I named in my attempts to get the program working, I get a notice of a serious error causing elements that need to close. I click 'ok' (as my only option) and get a second error message: Microsoft Visual C++ Runtime Library - Runtime Error! First Elements - this application has requested enforcement in an unusual way.   I installed both disks I have for Premiere Elements.

  I have uninstalled, reinstalled, uninstalled, reinstalled...

  I downloaded this file/additional patch for Elements 9.

  I went to finder > applications > iMovie > click with the right button on the show package contents > contents > MacOS > iMovie

  Then loaded iMovie and I could click on projects and create a new movie project!

  I clicked on everything to try to make it work and it did for me! Absolutely no idea how or why, but I hope it works for you too, as we both had exactly the same problem!
