IMP-00003: ORACLE error 959
Hi allAm import of production dump in our UAT environment.
Import failed with the below error:
IMP-00003: ORACLE error 959
ORA-00959: tablespace "TMEDX11" does not exist
This means that the import was stopped with this error? or it will continue after this error?... am tracking this... import don't move any more than that.objects after that have useful, likely created in the target DB tablespaces?...
Do I have to kill this process and continue to import all the items again?
Please notify
10.2.0.4 on solaris

If the target table is partitioned in the same way as the source, put IGNORE = o
in your import command.

That did not help much either i think.
I want is to have a single command that works "Imp" and gives the name tns-database as an input parameter and the user_id parameter must be in pramaters. I can run this way Import? What about:
alter user system identified by A;
I guess that the command "change user
identified by values '" is the command to settig the encrypted password.
Only, it will be useful carry passwords of a database to another, but do not for the definition of passwords initially.Edited by: hartmutm the 04.10.2010 07:22

Hi, I have a problem: I'm inserting information from one table to other tables, but if there is an error (for example, the duplicate primary key), I have to put this information in a newspaper... I have two questions: the journal should be another table (for example with the sysdate and a description of the error)? The other: How can I register Oracle errors in the log?
Thank youProbably, you write a PL/SQL script. If so use, for example,.
Declare Cursor c is select rowid, ... --souce data Begin for r in c loop begin insert into destination_tab ... exception when others then insert into error_log (record_rowid,error) values (r.rowid, sqlcode); end; end loop; End; /

You publish a file of newspaper only, and can not see the command that failed.
Also you include, contrary to the recommendation in the post on Forums label, the complete version number of 4-digit.
This is important because they either has an error in your script that does not find RMAN or you hit a bug.-----

DBCA is on a new installation of oracle errors
Oracle DB: 11.2.0.1.0
Platform: Oracle Linux 6.6, 32-bit, x 86
Test and learning area.
I managed to install Oracle DB on my Linux test machine. I chose not to create the DB installation. Now I use DBCA to create the first DB. I keep getting the following errors when creating the new database.
1 ORA-09925: cannot create the Audit Trail file
2 ORA-01017: invalid user name password. Connection refused
3 ORA-01031: insufficient privileges
I'm logged in as Oracle user with root authority. Please advice. Please let me know if you need additional information.
Thanks for your help.
What do you mean 'Root user Oracle with authority?' You are logged as long as Oracle owner or you are logged as root. Who is this? If you are logged as root - stop doing that.

How to take partial dump using EXP/IMP in oracle only for the main tables
Hi all
select*from v$version; Oracle Database 10g Enterprise Edition Release 10.2.0.1.0 - Prod PL/SQL Release 10.2.0.1.0 - Production "CORE 10.2.0.1.0 Production" TNS for 32-bit Windows: Version 10.2.0.1.0 - Production NLSRTL Version 10.2.0.1.0 - Production
I have about 500 huge data main tables in my database of pre production. I have an environment to test with the same structure of old masters. This test environment have already old copy of main tables production. I take the dump file from pre production environment with data from last week. old data from the main table are not necessary that these data are already available in my test environment. And also I don't need to take all the tables of pre production. only the main tables have to do with last week data.
How can I take partial data masters pre prodcution database tables? and how do I import only the new record in the test database.
I use orders EXP and IMP. But I don't see the option to take partial data. Please advice.
Hello
For the first part of it - the paintings of masters just want to - use datapump with a request to just extract the tables - see example below (you're on v10, so it is possible)
Oracle DBA Blog 2.0: expdp dynamic list of tables
However - you should be able to get a list of master tables in a single select statement - is it possible?
For the second part - are you able to qrite a query live each main table for you show the changed rows? If you can not write a query to do this, then you won't be able to use datapump to extract only changed lines.
Normally I would just extract all the paintings of masters completely and refresh all...
See you soon,.

Collection of Oracle error REP-51019 submitting parameter Page
We have improved our linux at 11 GR 2 report server. Now when we run Oracle reports over https, the parameter page shall submit the parameters via http. Initially successful, the user connects to the report server with sso and https. When the user submits the page parameter, an error occurs and the server logs show REP-51019.
If you look at the page source on the web page displayed in the page parameter, it displays'form method=post action = "http...". » . If we run the same report server reports different (10g or 11g R2) the parameter page shall submit to the server with https and working properly.
Y at - it a report server that can solve this problem?
Normal configuration is SSL between the web browser and the OHS and the communication between the SST and WLS_REPORTS is in HTTP.
Here are the steps:
1 backup of file INSTANCE_HOME/config/OHS/ohs1/ssl.conf
2 - Edit the INSTANCE_HOME/config/OHS/ohs1/ssl.conf file inside the
directive add the following section
Example of
SetHandler weblogic-Manager
WebLogicHost YOUR_HOST_NAME
WebLogicPort WLS_REPORTS_HTTP_PORT
WLProxySSL WE
3. save the fichier.conf and re - start OSH
4. This step will allow the plugin (mod_wl_ohs.conf) send a header to WLS_REPORTS indicating that the original request was an SSL request.
Activate 'active WebLogic plug-in' in Console WLS.
[+] Go to WLS Console--> servers--> WLS_REPORTS--> Configuration--> General
[+] Click on 'Advanced' link at the bottom of the page
[+] Click the "Lock & Edit" button to allow the changes to this page
[+] Check the box for "WebLogic plug-in enabled."
[+] Click 'Save' to save the changes
[+] Click on the button 'Activate changes' to activate the changes of WLS_REPORTS managed server
[+] Restart the managed server WLS_REPORTSNote: Even in a cluster environment that this setting ("active plug-in WebLogic") should be checked at each WLS_REPORTS server in the cluster managed
Now when you get the form of reports displays parameter and check the HTML (view page source) you will see references to the HTTPS protocol.

How to solve this error?
"Cannot perform the operation. The document or folder may have been deleted, or you may not.
"Caused by: oracle.stellent.ridc.protocol.http.HttpProtocolException: Http status: HTTP/1.1 302 moved temporarily".
Your connection to the repository is probably incorrect. Since you don't seem to be authenticated before the request, the system redirects you to a login page of the form to function, which can not handle the RIDC call.
' Change the connection of your repository of "http://
/cs/idcplg" to "http:// /_dav/cs/idcplg. Now you can pass your credentials from the user by using the basic authentication scheme, and the redirect will not happen. -

How is the * auditor * configured?
You try to use a SID in the connection descriptor. The listener listen to this SID? Check the STATUS of the listener.
