  Select all on these layers and then just resize.

• Text master thread produces unexpected results on several images / pages

  I would like to achieve the following: has two blocks of text (primary) on a master page with text flowing to the a-frame for part B (page 1), then to the a-frame to the framework B (page 2) etc.

  So I put two images on a master page, link them and put them in the main frame. After I insert a few pages using the master, the following events occur: page 1 is correct but after indesign page 2 starts linking not desired but the corresponding frames, will first until the end of the beach on the master page and then back all the way, so that the following sequence is created (the number is the number of page and letter frames) :

  1 A - 1 B - 2 A - 3 A - 4 A - 4 B - 3 B - 2 B

  While the desired sequence would be:

  1 A - 1 B - 2 A - 2 B - 3 A - 3 B - 4 A - 4 B

  As much as I saw it, Indesign allows only a single block of primary text / set image threaded by master spread, so it would be natural to expect that he correctly links the out port of page n to n + 1 page port. That's why I don't know if it's a bug I am facing or done something wrong.

  If I understand what you want to do, it could work better if you are primary executives, just put 4 images on master pages and link them 1A > 1 > 2 > 2 b a b. It should work with auto-flux (hold down the SHIFT key) when you place the text, but may not match pages automatically as you type with Smart Text Reflow.

• Remove layers under empty?

  Hi all

  There are many times when I use a symbol in a file but after dragging the symbol in the artboard, I use link break symbol so that I can freely scale and manipulate the object. My problem is that after using the link break symbol, an Undercoat is created in the control of the layer in which the object is nested. It's problematic because even if I all layers have collapsed on save & close the file when I open it again the control of the layer file opens with all the layers expanded to all the layers containing those objects because these all these objects of sublayers. This happens even if I move all the objects in line out of layer b/c she still has these sublayers pretty empty in there and since I'm working on maps, we have dozens of layers that can be quite annoying.

  My question is this: is it possible for all the layers beneath gaps of nuke? I found a script that removes the empty layers, but it does not work on sublayers.

  I had to select a symbol at the time in the palette--> select all instances, then repeat for all other symbols, then--> break the link to the symbol.

  just after you do drag a symbol, group them (Ctrl + G), and then break the link to avoid creating a base layer, it will be in a group instead.

• Accidentally under license an image

  This interface is terrible.  It's so slow and choppy (especially firefox, also in Chrome) when I went to click on an image to see a little bigger it under licence instead.

• Cannot copy master items from one side to the other (pages face to face) with the help of stick in place.

  I am trying to copy text from one side of a master page two "facing pages" face to another using Paste in place, then I me identical Master Articles for both pages, but stick it in place is not working.

  I select one side of A-master in the pages Panel (where I have the master items), the copy, and then by selecting the other side of the A-master, then glue in place.  But the points just stick on top of the original ones.

  Drag the items by pressing the alt key on the other side. In addition the SHIFT key keep aligned.

  Quick question:

  In my A-master page, I created a nice background for a Web site. Included in the background is a jpeg image that I use as a "banner". In other words, I placed it on top of my A-master page as a nice image/title to create a pleasant location for all other pages.

  When you are working on other pages, however, this banner tends to move and float around. If I place the other texts or images inside the bars blue, the measurement (don't know their name sorry), he shoots the banner down, incongruous way.

  How can I keep this image jpeg always at the top of a page? Similarly, how to create a banner similar to the background that will be always move according to the length of the content of each page?

  (In fact, if the background banner has been doing the top banner, it would be great! Instead, the background banner remains in place and allows the content to lay on it, while the top always pulled down image when I increase the length of the page.)

  So this is about as clear language I can say briefly what is happening. Perhaps there is a different method to create these banners up and down than simply dragging JPEGs pre-designed in Muse? Something which avoids so stupid adjustment and troubleshooting?

  I managed to solve most of the issues "banner" albums by extending the minimum duration of the project in the site properties. Now that it's longer, there are extreme cases of type text or image, pulling down of the banner when I happen to add more content than the minimum length of original page.

  However, it is always wonderful to have a lower banner at the bottom of the page that moves with a pixel length lowest. In other words, whatever a page with 1000 pix of content or 5000, the bottom bar will follow. I explored pinning, according to your suggestion, rogersphoto-, but I'm not interested in an image that remains on one place on the SCREEN, remains active in the lowest point on the page that a person can row for. It's really just needed to help during the construction, some pages are long, others short, but all have a high standard of master and down. Right now, I'm just a variety of master pages with different lengths for different pages, but it seems sort of silly to do. But, the time between, I would put in solving it my very well be less than trying to understand in this case...

  I put my customize the html (with the extension .htm) file under $OA_HTML, where I can see the result of the display when you run the OAF page that was embeded my html file, but after I updated the html file, page didn't refresh with update the result, I tried to close IE, rebounce EBS Server everything is not working, any idea?

  What is your version of the application?

  Have you tried to clear the cache?

  What happens if you rename this file (as it does not exist) and bounce services, you still see?

• Recently updated IE11.  Lack of connection on startup under the Site Connections Page to contribute 6.5

  IE 11 is officially supported with 6.5 contribute?  We have recently updated to IE 11.  We no longer see the site listed under links to the Site on the Start Page.  My users must click the Home Pages button, and select the connection in this way.  Is there a fix to display on the Start Page?  I tried uninstalling\reinstalling Contribute, but it is not bring him back.

  Contribute is not officially tested with IE 11. Normally you shouldn't have problems with editing of Web sites, but we have seen cases where the connection details are missing on the Contribute start page. You can click on "Home Pages" on the top to see the link.

  I see that you have reduced the size of the thumbnails that may cause problems of presentation if you enter the text under them.
