  I'm doing a brush model. I followed all of the instructions contained in the help files, but I get an alert that tells me that my brush contains works of art that can be used in a brush model. In an effort to find out exactly WHAT work can be used in a new model of brush, I have almost all taken consecutively IN the work unless the box that contains the original model, but I still get the error message. I even tried to use the original model, but without success. As far as I see it, there is no way to truly create a new brush model!  :-(

  I searched this forum and found this same query frustrated in another thread from another user, but there are no answers. Is it really possible to truly create a model brush in Adobe Illustrator?

  You cannot use certain constructions of brushes. The limitations are consistent with common sense. Grad fills, for example: grad Illustrator types are very limited (in big, linear or circular). If Illustrator is unable, for example, apply a grad fill that revolves around a stroke, it follows logically that it cannot fold one on the way to the spine to which is applied a Brush. Same kind of thinking goes for raster images (and Pixelation effects, which are the same thing), clipping paths, live mixes, etc.

  Some of these constructions can be 'Dumbed-down' ('extended' language Illustrator) to more simple constructions. You can, for example, to develop a mix or a Grad fill to convert it to a regular stack filled with solid paths. The group that results is then authorized by a brush. To do this, however, will not nuts with it. For example, you should almost never default 256 steps in a mixture.

  This may all sound very debilitating, but it really isn't. The image below was created with one ArtBrush, who began as a circle with a Grad Radial fill to grayscale, has expanded to a few steps, and receives an option of colorization in the form Options dialog box:

• problems of implementation of new Member of the user group

  I have 2 computers successfully implemented the usergroup. A new (only using 64-bit Windows) causes a problem.  I can not get an icon on the desktop for easy access to the Group and I don't have the ability to add the printer.  All computers are running Windows 7.  The main computer is on a cable network, and the other 2 are on the WiFi connection. So 1 WiFi works and is not 1.

  Someone at - it suggestions as to how to fix this?  The convenience store was not any help

  You can't define a model on a per-article basis, unless you have a limited number of items and make each of them individually.

  I have just taken delivery of a 2015 12 '' Macbook today.  I'm having some trouble setting up although.  I hope someone can help me.

  When you try to enter my apple ID in the initial implementation of the Macbook (which is certainly correct that I can connect on my PC, iPhone and iPad to use it), I got the message "check failed.  "There is a connection to the Apple ID server error".  I ended up leaving the empty apple ID in the implementation process.  I try to login to iCloud now and it gives me the same message.

  When I go to the App Store, it says "Cannot connect to the App Store".

  When I go into iTunes, I get the message "iTunes can not verify the identity of the init.itunes.apple.com of the server.  The certificate for this server is invalid.  You could connect to a server that pretended to be init.itunes.apple.com... »

  I get notifications of certificate on Safari - for example to www.google.co.uk "Safari cannot verify the identity of the website"www.google.co.uk".»  This Web site's certificate is not valid... »

  I guess this Macbook must need an update, but I am unable to update as it takes me to the App Store, when I click on 'software update', and the App Store does not connect.

  I currently use an iMac 2009 and 2011 MacAir. I just got a new 2016 21 "iMac and the desire to be very effective in the implementation.

  I currently have a personal user profile and a grad student user profile.

  I am looking to buy a new laptop of tosh in the coming weeks, but I am just confused because there are so many models to choose from. I had hosted in a Satellite Pro M40 model no PSM46E009002EN and I thought it was one installed to my needs, then I saw other models with more options! arrghhh. The model on the tosh site selector is not precise enough.

  My needs are

  Not more than £700
  at least 512 MB of ram
  at least 60Gig HD
  at least 15 "screen
  must have built in wireless network

  all the usual stuff like output video, usb, probe etc etc.

  Prefer a model that has a firewire port, but this sacrifice

  Ideally, she should be a model that has its own dedicated graphics adapter that is not shared video memory architecture.

  Either by the way, something I should worry about? shared memory doing it really all that much of a difference? Maybe I could buy a machine with a shared architecture and upgrade to a gig of ram?

  It is not easy to give you some advice, because your budget is set. In my opinion you should not avoid making a decision because of 50 or £100 maybe.

  One of my friends bought Satellite M40 two months ago and I tested this unit. I must tell you that this model of laptop is perfect. The design is very nice and you can use it for everything. Wireless card is on board, the graphics chip is very good and the view is absolutely perfect (TruBrite Wide XGA). Unit has no shared memory graphics chip.

  This device is also pre-installed Express media player, and you can listen to music without booting the operating system.

  If you buy one please let us know what model of laptop is your choice.

  I wanted to design feature 'New tab' in my application of cascades in same way that we found in the browser native avaialbe on system Z10.

  He's right, because while the browser uses WebWorks, you use stunts where the TabbedPane is not customizable in this way (at least not close buttons).

  You can certainly make a tab that says 'New tab', however, and have in fact insert a new tab and then switch to him. How to do this should be pretty obvious once you have read the documentation of the API TabbedPane.

  A little update just for your information. 2 days and 5 calls later (I needed to technical management, through the population of Activation - no direct number so sometimes the transferred call didn't work!) I now have a version of Windows active :) work

  However the question turns out to be that my legitimate version (package and all disks of good mine) and it's legitimate keys used did not match exactly.

  The unused key was for a version of Windows 7 Edition product update Home Premium to Windows 7 Pro, so that's why it did not work on the new facility I was trying.

  I contacted the seller amazon to let them know about this problem as it is possible that there is a lot that is perhaps not entirely legitimate.

  Once again thanks to the MVP here and people I talked on the phone before this is resolved, I suspect that this could become a problem growing with Windows 7, as people are not super keen on 8 and 7 is a solid BONE with a little support left? So even if you pay a rate of 'good' for your Windows 7 disks, be aware that you can not get exactly what you expected, and maybe it would be nice if MS has always sold direct to counter this kind of question?

  Hi, I'm still not clear to the new vSphere license model 5.

  VRAM right how does not limit the guest computers?

  Let's say that if I buy essential more that supports 3 guests with 2 processors each and its right of vRAM is 32 GB for each processor (3 guests x 2 CPU x 32 = 192 GB MAX).

  It means that I have 192GO in the pool of vRAM?

  So I don't have that one host, I have 192GO for guests running on a single host?

  If the maximum is 32 GB for each host, which is produced in the following conditions?

  1 buy one essential plus

  2. create 2 ESXi hosts to make HA

  3. 5 guest computers run on an ESXi host, and their total of vRAM is almost 32 GB

  4. a guest computer is running on a different host ESXi and put the ESXi prompt second to the first vMotion ESXi.

  5 vMotion will be failed due to the vRAM on the ESXi frist limitaion?

  License is done on a base taken by CPU, which means that you must have a license by socket in each server that you license.

  Each instance of license also has a right to vRAM.  In the case of most, it's 32 GB/socket.

  The Essentials Plus kit includes 6 processor socket and vCenter licenses.

  If you have one host managed by this vCenter, the straight of vRAM (192GB) would be available for this single host, as vSphere Essentials 6 CPU socket licenses are grouped in vCenter, and that a single host to assign the right to the vRAM.

  Don't forget that the vRAM is simply the amount of memory assigned to the virtual machines, not the amount of memory you can install in a host.

  See the book of Pricing and packaging vSphere 5 for more details (http://www.vmware.com/files/pdf/vsphere_pricing.pdf) you can also double check everything with account team, VAR or Integrator of which you intend to purchase licenses.

  Now, if you have a cluster of high availability of vSphere, you won't want to use 100% of your memory on each host anyway, as you'll want to keep resources available for a failover situation and reserved.  For 3 guests, as example and no overcommitment of memory, you'll want to make sure that at least ~ 33% of your resources of memory are not used in the event of a host failure.  In the case of say, Essentials Plus, you will have 192 GB of vRAM available straight to your cluster and with a distributed evenly the workload, it would mean 64 GB of vRAM active on each host.  To compensate for HA, hosts resources would probably be sized at a minimum of 96 GB of RAM physical each (64 GB for the active virtual machines and 32 GB for memory of failover ability) or more, depending on the tolerance of the use.  That would mean 288 GB of RAM purchase physical for 3 guests, while only 192GB is licensed based on the right of vRAM.

  If you have only 2 hosts in your cluster, you always have access to the 192GB vRAM right of the kit of Essentials Plus.  Obviously, the numbers will work out differently.  You can use the 96 GB of vRAM on each host, but at this point, you can buy your hosts with at least 192 GB of physical RAM each to accommodate a failure of the host (again, assuming that no overcommitment of memory on the host).

  I Production Suite CS5.5, who did not move to 6 as it does everything I need for now.  However, I am worried about the future and would like to ask if someone can clarify some things for me

  • If I subscribe to the CC and use it, then cancel in the future, it is likely that my CS5.5 will be able to open files created by the CC version

  Do not edit the Raw files. First specifications vary with each new camera brand and model that comes on the market.

  For example, ACR7.4 is the current version of ACR and ACR7 + is only compatible with CS6 +. Your CS5.5 is only compatible with Camera Raw up to version 6.7 - so there will be no Raw support for new cameras for your CS5.5.

  So if you want to keep CS5.5 and buy a new camera in the future, you will need to download the free Adobe's DNG Converter and then convert Raw to DNG files. Then, edit the DNG in CS5.5.
