Implementation of the account administrator and user

How to implement this feature in a merger application 11 adf.
I have a login with user name and password screen I enter the user name that is be an administrator as he has privileges to change all tables
. (I go to the next page in the workflow setting a global variable (admin = true) ;)
and now I have to let all the refreshable tables, but what should I do if the user is not an administrator, I would like to make all the columns in the tables read only but one. How can I do this?
Are all these design patterns for this. How you implement the administrator and the single user or user with privileges in your application.
Thank you

Most of us use ADF application security as described here:
http://wiki.Oracle.com/page/ADF+security

The first four links are all videos.

When you've got ADF security is ready, you can make this column to be read-only with a simple EL on the read-only atributte like this:
#{securityContext.userInRole ['USER']}

This will make the column read-only for all users.

I really need help. I am the administrator of the computer, but I'm not connected my admin account, I am connected to a limited account. I need to change the account, but the user function is disabled, and being in a limited account, I can't turn it on. Also, when I was originally in the admin account, I tried to re - turn on the function, but he told me that I couldn't until a program has been uninstalled. Oh, and there is no welcome screen because she wasn't too. Can you help me to activate this function and return to my account or am I trapped forever, never able to access my account admin impossibility?

    * Edited question:

My computer is a professional Windows 2000 XP laptop, and it's me signature automatically on the limited user account. I tried pressing the SHIFT key when you restart the computer, but he did that tell me there was a "stuck key" and I had to stop by pressing and continue. I don't know what was the program that appears when I tried to re - turn on the windows screen, but as soon as I can get to my admin account, I can understand. So far, the advice, they gave me did not. Any other ideas? Thank you

You have left out some important information. What version of XP you, run Home/Pro/Media Center? Are get you connected automatically to your limited user account? If so, then hold down the SHIFT key as Windows starts. Should you get the classic login box and you can enter your own name of user and password. Once in, set the auto paper by doing the opposite of:

Set up Windows to automatically connect (MVP Ramesh) - http://windowsxp.mvps.org/Autologon.htm

If you want to get the welcome back screen, you will need to give the exact text of the error message and just say "a program". The difficulty depends on what "some program" is. MS - MVP - Elephant Boy computers - don't panic!

  • Account administrator and user, Windows 7 Premium access control problems

We have a problem with a HP/Compaq Windows 7 Premium machine 4 months old and we cannot allow any request of the UAC.

An account on the machine is a "Standard user" without password, but when we do something like put to day or what the icon shield it and require permission from the Admin we cannot.  The alert box will appear asking you to Admin password (with no box to type, besides whom there is no account active Admin but maybe only the Super Admin account 'hidden' which is off), but also the 'Yes' button is gray and only 'no' can be clicked.

Support PC World were unnecessary, saying full install, their stock response.  Tried enabling the 'super administrator' hidden account think it worked once before when I need administrator rights to install the software, but as unable to run CMD prompt as administrator (again because UAC comes into play), I can't seem to do.

So now stuck with the new machine and messing around on the fighting with the OS: s I thought rightly or wrongly that the activation of the hidden Admin account would do, I'm sure that's what I did before, but I keep hitting the problem guest UAC as described above.  Therefore, the following does not work:

    ______________________________________

    Click Start, type: CMD
In the results, click on the right button CMD
    Click on "Run as Administrator"
at the command prompt, type: net user administrator / active: yes

Log off, and then log on to the administrator account
Make the appropriate changes to your accounts

    Log on to your account
    Click Start, type: CMD
In the results, click on the right button CMD
    Click on "Run as Administrator"
at the command prompt, type: net user administrator / active: No.

    ______________________________________

I tried to click with the right button on CMD prompt and checking run them as administrator on the drop down menu, but UAC prompt comes up, no luck.  Also tried setting to "Run as Administrator" when raising the properties by right-clicking... same result.

Also tried cursing at the machine... same result: o

Any help appreciated because I'm sure that I've done it before, and there is a way to pass the CMD prompt.

    Ah finally solved.

HP Compaq machines have their own start to use for recovery etc. software (accessible by pressing the ESC key), so I went into the system recovery using the backup utility to make sure that the external hard drive was last week 'missing' files, and then cancelled rather than clicking on the side to supplement a system recovery.

This gave me the traditional options of safe mode,... networks, prompt etc.  Choose Mode safe mode with command prompt and Super Administrator hidden account was visible as well as the Standard user.  Choose the account super administrator, connected, activated the password protect and define it.

    At the command prompt enter:

NET user administrator / Active: Yes

Restarted as Standard and UAC user now works fine.

It all started because of a need to install Open Office and then down the line a cutting machine, interrupting a Microsoft Backup, which could not be restarted without password Admin and user access control issues as described above.

Is not to hide the Admin user at all now!

    Hello

I see an account 'administrator' and 'my account' at startup upward.  The only difference I see is that the "Administrator" account can be deleted.  Please notify.

    Thank you

    Joe

Technically they can both be deleted.  For example, your account can be deleted too, if you wish.  You just may not be already connected to it.  If you wanted to see Remove button appears, you will need to restart, and then connect to the other account.

  • Whenever I update "send/receive" a message asking me to write the network password and user name.

I am connected to wifi in the hotel (Orange) and I can't SEND email, I just have to receive them.

Whenever I update "send/receive" a message asking me to write the network password and user name. This from my mail server (not orange because that one is ok I have access to the internet).

Most of the suppliers do not let you send if you are not connected through them, or they have special settings.  So for now, see if you can access your e-mail via webmail and use this interface and in the future, contact your ISP and ask them if there is a way to send emails when you are connected through a different network.

  • Dreamweaver update don't forget the account names and passwords?

This morning I did the update thing Adobe and it hung five applications, including Dreamweaver which I was working.

I closed Dreamweaver and click [continue] and he finished. I am now running Dreamweaver 11, build 4916.

I restarted Dreamweaver and made some changes to the page I was working on and has saved those and got an FTP error.

Poking around a bit reveals that there is now no account name or password specified in my settings of the Site. And that's for ALL sites!

Well, calm down... breaths of e e d p... We will re - import Sites using the old files .ste, right? They were created with the choice to save the account names and passwords, too. Point, click-click, the construction of the new site [2] and edit the page, save the changes and Boom! FTP error, once again.

How can I fix it, please?

Adobe aknowledges that question in the document of the basis of knowledge and skills associated with the update. I think that to solve it, you just need to restart your computer after the update to Dreamweaver.

  • Cannot delete the account of a user with administrator rights

I want to remove a user who has administrator rights account.  Win XP machine has two users (Administrator and a user name) that both are of type of administrator account.

I you as an administrator and should be able to change the other named to Limited user account, but for Limited is greyed out.  The option to delete the named account is not present.

How can I delete this account, leaving only administrator?

Often, I find that using the command line commands gives errors better when you can not do something.  Try the following:

    o bring a window prompt (start-> Run-> "cmd")

o enter the following command in the window:

    net localgroup administrators

o that it must return a list of all users with administrator privileges.  You should see the built-in user 'Administrator' and your other user (assuming that both have administrator privileges).  To remove administrator privileges from the user (assuming that this another username is "Joe"), then enter the following command:

    net localgroup administrators Joe/remove

If this is not possible, an error no doubt will provide you with enough information.

  • My accounts administrator and guest are merged?

Well, I have a HP computer I restored the settings to factory, about 2 weeks ago, and I made 3 accounts (1 admin, 2 standard users) and an active guest account.

Somehow when this happened, my guest account and my administrator account merged. I can download and all what like Im an administrator, but when I try to change passwords, it says "Windows cannot change the password.

When I try to create new accounts, it is said that I using invalid symbols in the name (when Im not using any symbols or spaces, letters only)

When I type in (on cmd) 'control userpasswords2', it shows me all my accounts. It shows 2 normal standard accounts, and the administrator has two categories. Categories: Comments, administrator.

It says my username is "guest", but my full name is 'Caleb '. I tried to change the two without success.

    Any help?

Activate the hidden administrator (HAA) account using http://www.vistax64.com/tutorials/67567-administrator-account.html.  If you don't remember the password, try nothing because that's probably what you (or seller) did during the installation.  This account allows you to change your administrator account.  If even this does ' t work (or even if it does not work), create two new accounts just in case administrator. Once that is done, don't forget to disable the HAA to save it in case it is necessary once again and for safety reasons (since people often try to hack into systems using this account).  Do NOT use the HAA as your administrator account because if you lose the only administrator on the system account or it is damaged again, then you're watered.

Your original administrator/guest user profile might have been corrupted (maybe by all that has happened--I know not how you did what you did).  To fix this use http://windows.microsoft.com/en-AU/windows-vista/Fix-a-corrupted-user-profile.  BTW, not to activate the account guest - he really never should be used as it is a common way for someoe hijack your system.

I hope this helps.  If this isn't the case, post back with the results of what you have tried and we will try to find another solution.

    Good luck!

  • Cannot connect as the host of the meeting. I'm the account administrator.

    Hello

First day using the software. I can not connect to host for a new encounter, I created even though I am the administrator account, I created the meeting and I am defined as a host in users of the meeting.

I use chrome and I checked in the program flash. I do not have the most recent flash which is built into chrome. I also tried to connect with internet Explorer. Same question.

I connect to the meeting. do not ask me to download the Adobe Acrobat Connect Pro component software plug-in, but I see a small message for 1 second that looks like it says download adobe connect (maybe?) before the actual junction bar rises. So I'm stuck at the meeting as a participant, and I can't change my user type.

It is a new account. Could not be activated again with her? I didn't even get my password for the account again of my representative sales, but just click I forgot my password and the system I would like to reset so I can get to the faster (haha). Everything else seems to work. So help please!

Also, I can't create a password to login to the meeting? That isn't supposed to be an option in the meeting menu creation?

    Thank you
    William

You are probably using the model named host of license. Therefore, you have to be a member of the Group hosted the meeting to host a meeting.

Exact verbiage for the named host license:

Named host can create an unlimited number of meeting rooms, however, the named host can only use one of their rooms at any time and rooms are not accessible, unless the named host is present.

As an administrator, you can create rooms, but you can not host.

  • In the folder of the account administrator permissions

When checking permissions to the accounts I noticed the hidden administrator account seems to be available in my computer/programs/users. But when I try to open this account, I get a [click to continue for permanent access to this folder]. If this happens verses called to use a password for the account or if you do not allow this type of authorization?

He also seems to be a recent date, this folder has been created so that I'm not sure that what counts is in fact.

OK, things are a little clearer. In your initial post that you wrote

I noticed that the hidden administrator account appears to be available in my computer/programs/users

    What you mean actually was:

I noticed that the profile folder for the hidden administrator account seems to exist according to C:\Users.

The answer to your question is simple: this profile folder was created when someone logged in as the administrator account. He remained there until you manually remove the account or the profile folder. It is not security risks either.
