  b. do you receive error messages when you start Microsoft Office Outlook?

  If you have a problem only in the Office Update installation, then I suggest you to report your problem in the Office Discussion groups. If not, try download office update from the link below and install it in clean boot mode.

  To enter the mode of clean boot of your computer, follow these steps.
  1. click on start, type msconfig in the search box and press ENTER.
   
  If you are prompted for an administrator password or a confirmation, type the password, or click on continue.
   
  2. in the general tab, click Selective startup.
  3. under Selective startup, clear the check box load startup items.
  4. click on the Services tab, select the hide all Microsoft Services check box, and then click Disable all.
  5. click on OK.
  6. When you are prompted, click on restart.
  7. after starting the computer, install the update.

  On a Mac, you can close the window and open a new window to achieve this. Which does not close the Firefox application. You can also a right tab and choose "Close other tabs" from the context menu.

  Unfortunately, you'll have to close LabVIEW to pass parameters in a VI of the command prompt. You can build your VI in an executable file, and then pass parameters from the command prompt.  Because the program is its own executable file, it is not dependent on wheter LabVIEW is open.

  At the start of new computer, you can load Firefox OK. After closing repeatedly, the icon on the desktop won't open Firefox... or go to programs and click on Firefox.   I have a client who I want to design a model for a series of financial reports that go to investors every quarter. Information for reports from a database. There are 50 reports to be created for each investor. Rather than having to copy and paste the information manually from the database directly into text fields in Photoshop or Indesign, it is possible to bind the text boxes to this database?

  I was going to use Photoshop to design the model that I'm not very good at InDesign. But if I have to then I'll use InDesign.

  Both programs were given to merge. InDesign would probably work best for what you want to do, but you might be able to get away with PS:

  I have an OAM authorization rule based on the ldap user attribute (it is url for ldap query under 'Allow access', rule, that is ldap: / /... with a Cache update is enabled) with the hardcoded value, so that only users with these attributes can access protected resources. My problem is that if I add/remove the attribute via the User Manager console, it does not take effect until I have actually restart the access server. I can, however, locking/unlocking the account of the user through Manager users with immediate effect.

  Hi Roman,

  There is no problem to run OAM identity and access servers on the same machine, with some ports you choose. I suspect that the problem is that AccessGate the identity of the server is (incorrectly) set up to talk to port 6021 - If Yes, this will be reflected in the identity\AccessServerSDK\oblix\lib\ObAccessClient.xml file and can be corrected by running the configureAccessGate command. There are additional steps to get the automatic hunting at work (in addition to the definition of the parameter doAcessServerFlush) - did you follow the documentation for these?

  Yes, as long as you have a way to access the system. If you have the operating system remotely, you can install OpenManage Server Administrator. OMSA has an iDRAC section where you can change the IP address of the iDRAC.

  OMSA installation also installs the RACADM tools, so you will be able to execute RACADM commands as well. You can use the RACADM commands to perform all the tasks that you can do so via the GUI, some which are not available in the GUI.

  When you get OMSA is installed, you can check the status of the components of the system. If you see any problems then I would suggest that your first troubleshooting step be restart iDRAC. You can restart the iDRAC independent of the system, there will be no interruption of service to the server when you restart the iDRAC. The command RACADM to restart the iDRAC is:

  Using Windows 7, I uninstalled Elements8 and installed new 11 but if I close 11 items it will not reopen unless I restart the PC every time. Also, I can't uninstall E11 because I get the message that 'thumbdatabase.db3' is in use, so I can't reinstall to see if that will solve the problem. Help, please?

  I don't know what was the problem, but a system restore to before the installation of E11 and then reinsert sems to have worked. Hooray!

• How can I get my printer wireless reconnected without having to restart my computer?

  I have a HP Photosmart Premium printer installed as a wireless device. Often, when I closed my laptop via the mode 'sleep', I apparently lose the connection to the printer. When I try to print a document, it does not print and the printer status shows "offline".

  What could happen:

  The printer is for wireless operation. During installation, an address on the network is requested by the DHCP service on the router. This address is entered in the connection information for the printer.

  After a certain period, the computer is suspended. Will switch "standby". Close the wireless connection. Later, the computer wakes. An address is requested and issued. However, it is not the same address as that was iddued and registered in the connection information. If and when printing is started, the printing device is in standby mode because it now cannot connect through the old or new address.

  This can be corrected temporarily be remove and reinstall the printer. However, it will fail the next time that the computer is paused.

  Giving the printer address fixed, solved the problem because no address must be requested or issued by the router. There will always be the same.

  Maybe HP has released a fix for this problem. Check on their website for a new driver package. If offered a choice, download the full package. Install it, and then try again.

  If they do not, or you get no joy, please check the print material included with the printer and that available for it on the web site. There should be instruction detailing how to set up for wireless communication. In addition, it is usually a page of instructions available on the printer itself that behaves like a web page. Find the name of the printer in network Prfnters. Mouse click and look for the network settings. For mine, it appears as a tab.

  Take a look. Assess the situation. Let us know. Someone will help more.

  I think that if you go to tools > advanced > Edit Palette defined LabVIEW recharge pallets.  I did once before, I just don't remember exactly if that's what I was doing.
