Create a new movieclip and chronology of this movieclip is open, click on file/import/import in the scene, and then select the first image.  If they are named in the order and you are using a version of flash pro cs, flash will provide import the entire sequence and distribute each on his own image in the current timeline.

  • How to import an image sequence in CS4

Hello!  I'm working on a big project today and I am importing images by hundreds.  Is there an easy way to import an image sequence in the timeline?  I remember it allows to be with older versions of flash, but I can't understand it for CS4 - Fortunately these images are named sequentially.  Any help would be appreciated, thanks!

I confirm what rothrock said with cs4. should work fine. Select an image to import to the stadium and you should get the alert 'sequence '. Then each image will be added to a next keyframe in a single layer.

  • Import of image sequences: grayed out option

I am trying to import a numbered as a video clip in Premiere Pro CS6 image sequence, but must not be the files:

I've got 9480 JPEG image files named like BlahXXXX.jpg where XXXX is 0000 to 9479.

Now when I go to file > import... and select all the files, the box at the bottom of the file choose window (image sequence) is grayed out. If I simply select a single image, I can check it out, but when you click on 'Import' then, first will be important only this single still image.

    What I am doing wrong?

    Hi Digihill1,

This works as expected for me. Try this:

    1. Choose file > import (not the media browser)
    2. Put in the folder with your pictures in sequence
    3. Click the first image in the image sequence (select only the first image, not all the images in the folder)
    4. Click the box image at the bottom of the import dialog box sequence
    5. Click the import button
    6. Your image sequence is imported in the form of a clip

    Thank you

  • problem: import the image sequence into adobe media encoder

    Hello

have a problem with adobe media encoder CS6, change the display Format to 25 time frame in the preferences of media coder, I import a series of TGA (170 images) to media encoder in an image file TGA sequence, the series generated from 3D applications Max and ToonBoom, specification of TGA series 1080 50i "1920 X 1080 - high filed - 25 frames per second. When I import the sequence, encode media recognize the sequence as 1920 X 1080 - progressive - 29.97 FPS, to interpret the window images options I change the settings of the upper sequence deposited - 25 fps, and I export to quicktime mov 1920 X 1080 - class top - 25 fps uncompressed

    the problem:

mov file is 06:20 and it is right for the 170 25 fps calendar but mov file does not contain the tga series image, image freeze in time code 05:16 (number 142 of the framework) and duplicate the 142 image to the rest of the video file

If I do not change the pace to interpret the window options images for the tga sequence what media encoder recognizes as 29.97 FPS mov file contain all TGA images, but with a duration of 05:16 which not 25 fps

in adobe media encoder CS5.5 I don't get this problem at all

    1. How do I solve this problem?

    2. how to force CS6 adobe media encoder to recognize the image sequence imported as rate of 25 fps?

"Film" is finally fixed in November 2013 video updates of creative cloud. If your version of Premiere Pro and SOUL is or more 7.1.0 everything should work as expected. But don't forget to actually perform "Film" on your source in first Pro CC or CC SOUL that, otherwise your sequence of images will continue to be interpreted as 29.97 FPS by default.

I would like to create a slideshow in After Effects. I have about 300 photos in 20 files - which the customer will only choose 100 or more.

I like to keep all the files in the directories / keep even the same folder structure. So I would drag these 20 files in AE and then the match - the only problem is AE think I want this are sequences! Any advice? Thank you!

How can I import a sequence of images with the app.project.importFiles command?

    Is this possible?

Currently using a command like this:

However, it important that a single image.

    app.project.importFiles (["/ Volumes/files/DPX_4k_16/rf_dcp4k_dpx_4k_16."]) (["[00001-01000] .dpx"])

I would also like to be able to set the frame rate when importing as well if possible.

Currently, it is not possible to import an image sequence, using importFiles().

What is going on? that I can do to import the photos as an image sequence

You must select 1 single image, the first image in the sequence. Then check the box for the image sequence (if it is not selected automatically), and then import them. Body will automatically find the rest.

Note: If you use a Proxy workflow - I had acting weird when importing image sequences in the last version of the body with Ingest checked on a proxy workflow. You can uncheck Ingest if your image sequences does not correctly appear in the project Panel, and then try again.

  • What is the maximum number of images that you can import as a sequence in first Pro CC

I do a lot of big engineering according to time is lapses that may include anything between 3 and 12 thousand images. When I import into Premiere Pro CC as a sequence - only about a 1/3 rd seem to be included in the imported sequence.

Has anyone previously met and is it possible that I can work around the problem.

    Thanks in advance.

OK... after having looked closely for files that are created by the GOPRO it would seem that the problem all by using the original sequential file names. I found that if I rename the files during import (Lightroom) to something simple like TL1, TL2.jpg etc, then I can import the entire sequence without any problem.

Thanks to Shooternz and Jim for their suggestions.

  • Image sequence of import of JPEGs on first Pro CC 2014 out of sync!

Since I left CS6 to CC, 2014, sequences of images in the form of jpeg files not properly are more important in synchronized first.  I use Blender 3d rendered scenes of export in JPEG format, then convert them to h.264 mpeg4 video clips in first.  What is happening is that images download tab of project to create in the mess, even if they are correctly classified in my hard drive.  Improper naming conventions are probably apart since their file extensions are _000 types, and I have never had a problem importing sequences in CS6 anyway.  Still life image default is set to 1 in the General preferences.  No one knows what offer?  Thank you.

I would like to import as a sequence of images.

Hit import, select the first image and check the sequence of images below, click OK.

With the images already imported, click the sort button, and then select name.

Sort (up and down arrow) button next to zoom.

  • How to import image sequences which have been made in layers of Blender to the AE?

Does anyone know how how to import image sequences which have been made in layers of Blender to the AE?

I tried to make it to the first plan and background in separate layers in a blender & bring to AE as sequences of images separate but have so far failed.

I used targa, .tiff, .png, and same openEXR multicoated, but none worked for me so far.

I do it all the time. Make your sequence of images in a separate folder for each passage, use a number like bg_0001.tif format, go it to file > import and select any file in the folder and check the box image sequence, and then import.

  • Import a complete sequence of images to the first (or consequences)

I shot a few lapses multiple segments time-is this past weekend on a borrowed GoPro. I evaluate the camera for its ability of timelapse and far sequential shooting is great, but my workflow fails miserably.

I really need some advice on what to do.

My first problem ignore about 80% of the pictures in the 3000 + taken. It seems to be very sensitive to changes of scenery, if things do not match up between my sequences, Pr will import it, which defeats the purpose of what I'm trying to do.

I can sort and import manually, but that will do for a very long day...

The question is exactly the same in AfterEffects and GoPro software as well. So, on the entire suite CS6, GoPro software, which is a kind of Hyperlapse program, what adjustment is needed to import each image of a folder for a sequence of images.

Also, my ultimate goal is to make a hyperlapse of the sequence that I have, so if you have any tips on how to do all this, please inform accordingly.

If you import images as a sequence of images, file names must use sequential numbering. Otherwise, Premiere Pro does in that it determines for me the sequence starting with the first selected item.

Perhaps if you gave a detailed explanation of exactly what you are doing to import them, step by step. And maybe after a screenshot of the file names.

  • First not giving "image sequence" option on the import of files

    Hello

I'm working on a new installation of Premiere Pro 5.5 and I ran across a problem that I've never met before. When I go to import a sequence of images, first is do not give me the "image sequence" checkbox at all... It is not yet here. I tried two types of files (tiff and jpg) and still nothing. Point all I can do is made a QT or something, I like to do at this point.

    Any thoughts?

You have the box of still images numbered in this screenshot.  Check it out.

  • Import image sequences do not import images

I have a sequence of 99 JPG images I am trying to import into Premiere Pro. These images were created by an export from Lightroom.

When I perform the import from the first image, only 35 pictures are imported.

If I import the sequence from the 34th image, only 2 images are imported.

If I import the sequence from the 35th image, 1 image is imported (and it is imported as an image file, apparently).

If I import the sequence from the 36th image, the remaining images are imported.

I tried a number of different settings for export from lightroom, but it doesn't seem to make a difference. By example, if I export as TIFF I see exactly the same problem. If I export in JPG format with a small size of the image, I see exactly the same problem.

    I tried «Replace footage...» "without result.

When I inspect the image files using an image view there appear to be no problems with files. The volume of the files are consistent and not great inordinantly (~ 5 MB).

The file names are all correctly numbered as expected by Premiere Pro.

I did it dozens of times before successfully this problem, and I did successfully a number of times since the problem arose. The problem seems to occur only with this particular set of images.

I can work around the problem by importing the images as two separate importations (a beginning with the first frame and a second from the 36th image) and putting together in a single sequence. In fact, this spliced sequence looks as expected with no missing frameworks or anything other untoward that I can see.

I have searched with this for a few days and cannot discern other factors that can be the cause.

Anyone have an idea what might happen?

It is not the date and time, it is the name of the file. The name of the file goes to a new sequence and Premiere Pro can't tell that a file that starts with 20140225 is supposed to be followed by a file that starts by 20140226

  • Import of image for Timelapse sequences

I'm having issues importing a sequence of images to make a timelapse.  It seems easy and simple, but when I check the box "Image Sequence" import, I always get only the importation of single image.  I don't know there is something small, I'm on.  Does anyone else have this problem?

Yep, I'm doing as well.  I just went through and gave the sequence a convention of shorter term and for some reason any that worked!  They were properly sorted before, but the naming convention must have been too long.
