  Although I used a Palm Treo years, I am new to BB and Metro PCS. The OS is v5.0.0.973. (The Palm Treo has not correctly synchronized since this summer. that's why I got the Blackberry.) Some old Palm Treo data are saved as ASCII files).

  I connect my new BB 8530 via the USB port on my computer. From the Blackberry Desktop Manager 5.0.1 version, I click the icon synchronize. I select the boxes to synchronize the data of the Organizer, to update the time and date of the device and synchronize automatically.   Hi and welcome to the Forums!

  Office of RIM 5.0.1 software tells you that you are using is not compatible with Outlook 2010. You need to upgrade to level 6.0 from the RIM of the Desktop for Outlook 2010 compatibility software. However, if you use Outlook 2010 64-bit, there currently is no version of RIM software which is compatible... only the 32-bit Outlook 2010 is currently compatible.

  I will have questions both of I don't know where to start?

  #1) I think Miss me the hardware drivers, what can I do to check and make sure I have the latest driver updates for my hardware?

  (#2) I have programs such as MS messenger, some programs MS Live Essentials that I can't use, fix, uninstall or reinstall.

  (#3) MS Outlook 2010 is super slow, freezes, don't play well with other programs and finally stops after a while.

  (#4) instead of "restart" my PC stops completely down and don't come back or restart when I said to "restart".

  (#5) according to ARO over 3900 registry errors, which I am sure that is why I...

  (A) I have several MS security updates will not be installed, (all the directions say to change records and do all sorts of things, I don't think I'm qualified for this.

  (B) PC is generally slow and lazy and even if it is a work computer, it's me from being productive, and I don't have the time.  It starts slowly, and I don't know how to "truly" remove startup programs, etc.

  It is a working PC, should be a whole day to re - install Windows on top the other things would have to do to make it fully functional again, drive mapping, loading the programs clients, plug-ins, etc. on top of losing this day there all the work, we would have to pay the computer scientist for that all day. Our guys 'IT' knows all the fancy words for all the 'IT' stuff he does, but he has the patience to follow through and fix things until they are really fixed, it starts simply, then vibrates on a list of things to do after his departure... and it is overpriced, even if he was as good as he thinks he's.  But I have no say in this.  I'm not the admin PC I don't think, but I can run & install programs on the PC.  We use TrendMicro, which I'm not thrilled since I just cleaned my PC my 3rd year Trojan horse was not detected by T.M. but was detected by other things, such as MSE and MalwareBytes.  Where should I start, how to get it all cleaned up, & what should I do to keep it?

  Since I did a Firefox update about 6 weeks ago, that the foregoing happens and it's more annoying, I uninstall Firefox and Outlook, but it has not solved the problem.   I don't know if you figured this out, but what I did to solve this problem went to the file-> options. Click on add ins, then you click on manage add-ins and add disabled Microsoft Outlook Social Connector in.

  If Apple does not know of a way, then it's almost certainly not possible.  Personally, I do not know how you could do that.

  In the contacts folder, you can import a .wab

  The contacts come in fine provided by the user.

  How do you get these contacts to people without downloading to this account and synchronization of accounts and adding accounts and so on and so forth?

  Why can't you take the old email from outlook express and just import it then in mail?

• Address Book Outlook 2010 only appear not

  My outlook address book is empty when I click the To: button.  This despite that the contacts are there in the contacts tab or folder, whatever you want to call it.  This also affects my ability to send messages using contact groups, as they only appear in the address book.  I can't create a new group in the contacts folder, because it opens an empty address book.

  Things I've tried:

  1. I created a new profile from scratch and chose this profile because I read that one on Microsoft support
  2. I tried to import my list of contacts to a saved csv file previously because at first I thought that something happened to contacts
  3. I tried to run the repair function to my Outlook application from the control panel
  4. I run scanpst on the pst files.

  I don't understand the relationship between Outlook Contacts and the address book I think that draws data from contact in the contacts and/or suggested contacts folder, everywhere where it is stored.  I don't want to create new if possible pst files.

  I don't know if I was attacked by some piece of malware, but increasingly this problem, my copy of Google Chrome can not access this site.  I got a useless error message saying 'something was wrong and we cannot connect you right now. Please try again later. »

  I followed your instructions and now have "storage folders" visible. However that a single user account recorded message records showing if you keep double clicking and scrolling down.   Transfer of data from Outlook Express and Windows Live Mail:
   
  
  For Messages:
   
  Copy the * ENTIRE * OE message store folder to a flash drive. (Folders.dbx must be included). Place it on the desktop or another location on the computer using WLMail.
   
  V-2009: open WLMail and: file | Import | Messages | Microsoft Outlook Express 6, and the point where it was saved.
   
  V-2011: Menu button. Import Messages. Microsoft Outlook Express 6, and the point where it was saved.
   
  
  Location of OE message store:
   
  In OE: Tools | Options | Maintenance | Store folder will reveal the location of your Outlook Express files. Note the location and navigate on it in Explorer Windows or, copy and paste in start | Run.
   
  In Windows XP, Win2K & Win2K3 the OE user files (DBX and WAB) are by default marked as hidden.   Note: If you use a CD or a DVD instead of a flash drive, after placing on the new machine you must remove the read-only attribute in the properties before you import.
   
  
  For the account settings:
   
  In OE: Tools | Accounts, select the account and export it to the desktop. This will be an .iaf file. Copy it to the new computer and WLMail desktop: tools | Accounts and import the settings from the location you saved the.

  I think that you need to access contacts via browser in your hotmail/outlook/live account: click on the "Services more" menu drop-down next to the Outlook button, then click on people, click Manage / export and save the WLMContacts.csv file.

  I have a Blackberry 8330 running version 4.5.0.175 on the phone and I am trying to sync with a new computer running Windows 7 Edition home premium 64-bit, I installed Microsoft Outlook 2010 on - The BB Desktop software works under version 6.0.0.43 - I am trying to sync my BB for the emails, calendar, contacts, etc. - I can receive my emails but they are independent of my computer (doesn't sync) - and prospects don't not show up as an option when I try to set up the synchronization - please help - I am very computer savvy, but this one beats me up.
