  I've got DW CS5 v11.0 b4993 on Mac OSX 10.7.3.

  It seems that since I installed DW CS5 at the time when it first came out I had problems with site definitions lose the FTP connection settings, each time I have quit the application and restart it. I try to leave it on without quiting as much as possible because it's a pain to remove, and then import the new site just to connect. It doesn't at all sites those just at random. I tried several times to uninstall DW and put it back and then import my list of sites, but it continues to have the same problem.

  Any advice would be appreciated.

  This problem is very common on the Mac.  In general, it is a corrupt bunch.  Here are some instructions to correct:

  First open the keychain app in the folder Utitilies (or press command-space to publicize and type "keychain", it will be the first).  Then in the search at the top of the key, type "SiteServer '.  Which will bring up the passwords of DW.  If you do not know your passwords, open each and write them.  Once you know them, delete the records that came from your search.  Go to open DW.  All passwords are now missing, and you will need to go through your site 1 by 1 and add passwords.  Site definitions will always be in touch, only passwords will be re-recorded for DW uses the Apple keychain to store passwords and not the configuration files.  DW close and reopen again, your passwords need to be good to go.

  Your must be retained and migrated to the new version.

  However, for security, export the settings of MX 2004 first

  Site > Manage Sites > Export (remember where you save it to).

  If they don't transfer, then in the new version

  Site > Manage Sites > Import (from there where you have saved the)

  sp48024 is the latest bios for your laptop, but I think that you already have it.  Although the posting date for this update is closed April 5, 2010, the file AVCs to sp48024 on the link below tells the bios is in fact as of March 22, 2010 - see the DetailFileInformation field.

• How to remove or reset stored passwords for FTP site to Windows Explorer (Win XP)

  In fact I use Windows XP but I couldn't find a forum for this more.

  I have an FTP site, that I need to access regularly and his user name and password was stored for Windows Explorer could open it without asking for confirmation.  The user name & password have changed.  I deleted all the entries in my neighborhood network for the FTP site.  Still, he connects with the former name of user and password (UN/pw).  Access to this account is paralyzed, so I can't use it, but it get connected and so I know that he uses this UN/pw.  I tried to use the URL: ftp://user: * e-mail address is removed from the privacy * and it always goes back to the old UN/pw.  I don't want to delete all passwords that will allow 'Internet Options'.  How to clear it?

  I had the same problem but with Win 7.  I got mine to work by looking for the FTP site in the registry and delete it.

  Run regedit

  Searched using EDIT , FIND , ftp.whatever.com , clicking SEARCH the NEXT

  (Found in HKEY_CURRENT_USER, Software, Microsoft, FTP accounts )

  Right click on the site FTP send me problems (ftp.whatever.com) and deleted.

  Closed regedit.

  Pulled up to Windows Explorer: problem solved.

  When I opened sites ftp from one of our other offices, I get a screen of login and password.  Then the site will automatically open in Internet Explorer.  So I go to the Page/open ftp site in Windows Explorer.  So I enter my login and password again.

  Is there a way to set a default value for ftp sites will automatically open in Windows Explorer, so I don't have to go through this all the time?

  Dream Weaver lets us download.  We tried using filezilla.  We installed a new router.  We are still not able to download the files.  What we are downloading are video files of 50 MB on three of them twice a week.  Now we can download html small files without problem.

  We have recently installed Windows 7 and Internet Explorer 11. After you access a FTP site root and following the instructions, press Alt, then on site click Open FTP in the file Explorer, nothing happens.  We have checked the folder view FTP activate [apart from IE] and use passive FTP mode.  Before the upgrade, we used Windows XP and have been able to open FTP sites in Windows Explorer without any problem. We look forward to your recommendations.

  Until recently I used windows Explorer to an internet FTP site FTP.

  I realize that Internet explorer can be used but it is heavy for our clients to use. Creating and deleting directories and transfer files.

  Windows Explorer is much simpler.

  and Windows Explorer would take me to my FTP site asking my login and password. Now it automatically opens Internet Explorer 11 who don't ask me my login and password.

  I went in the "associate a type of file or Protocol and tried to change the current default protocol FTP for Windows Explorer program, but it won't let me." It allows only to IE, Chrome and other browsers not Windows Explorer.

  Were there an update that changed this?

  I stop my firewall and turned of my antivirus, but it still does not work and is not only on a single computer do so all our computers under W7 - 64.

  Our W-XP-32 faithful computers still work fine running Windows Explorer with an FTP site, and they use IE 8. No problem using Windows Explorer for FTP here.

  I also checked in Internet Explorer,

  a. click on 'tools '.

  b. Select 'Internet Options '.

  c. open the "Advanced" tab

  d. took a glance at the box "Enable FTP folder view" and it has been verified

  e. also checked the "use passive FTP mode" and he also checked.

  Here's the problem that I have clients who are not very computer savvy and I have seen some discussion to have to hack the registry, not a good idea for a non-technical computer person and I'm sure that their companies will not.

• Impossible to get in my Web page ftp site administration and I urgently make changes to my pages.

  Until very recently, another person manages my site for me, but unfortunately not now the fact.  I am trying to access my ftp site to change several pages, but my computer will not allow the page to be downloaded.  It indicates that maybe that's a problem of Windows Firewall.  When I followed the instructions for this, I like not to be turned off the firewall.  OK but there is no way I can find to add the ftp site to the list of permits of contacts.

  As I don't know anything about this side of the computer, it would be easier for me to create a new Web site and it would cost a lot.  I would be able to use my current domain name.
