  • Is it possible to disable the shortcut "then layer? It is not under keyboard shortcuts. Important headaches.

I'm frequently paint, sampling of color and size of the adjustment brush.

I use the hot keys on the side of my wacom so I can quickly adjust the size of the brush '[' and '] ' and 'alt' sample color. Unfortunately 'alt []' and 'alt'] always blow my layers when a key is blocked.

I don't need a shortcut for "next layer" but there is no way to disable under the preference "keyboard shortcuts."

Anyone know a work around? I don't understand why this would not be an editable shortcut.

I use a tablet of the art, and it's more a problem of speed I pass between the keyboard rather than the quality of the keyboard shortcuts. Most of the time gains speed using the keys shortcut more make up for level switching, but it is still frustrating.

The limitation "alt/option" belongs to a strange design of the program since other modifiers work very well.

I think the solution is to change the shortcut to "re-size brush" to something that is less likely to accidentally overlap with 'next layer '.

Is this possible? And if not... why? I've already put in a feature request for this, but I hope that I just forgot something.

    Manually copy keyboard shortcuts

You can copy your hotkeys custom from one computer to another computer or to a different location on your computer.

    • Find the hotkeys (.kys) file you want to copy to another computer.
The location of the custom keyboard shortcuts file depends on whether you are subscribed Creative Cloud Sync parameters in first Pro CC. Signed in creative cloud sync settings

      • Win: Directory Users\ [user name] \Documents\Adobe\Premiere Pro\ [version] \Profile-CreativeCloud-\Win\
      • Mac: Users / [username] / Documents/Adobe/Premiere Pro / [version] / profile-CreativeCloud-/ Mac /.

Disconnected (e) Creative cloud synchronization settings

      • Win: Directory Users\ [user name] \Documents\Adobe\Premiere Pro\ [version] \Profile-username\Win\
      • Mac: Users / [username] / Documents/Adobe/Premiere Pro / [version] / user/Mac profile-name /.

[version] can be 7.0 or 8.0

    • Copy the shortcuts (.kys) and paste it into the location of the required files.
To copy keyboard shortcuts file in a directory on another computer, copy the .kys file to a removable drive such as a USB key. Then, copy the file .kys from the removable drive to the appropriate location in the new computer.

  • 'Ctrl + End' keyboard shortcut does not work as expected. I tried safe mode. does not move the tab to the end of such specified list, just scroll to the end of the page.

    According to http://support.mozilla.com/en-us/kb/keyboard+shortcuts,.
'Ctrl + End' should move the active tab to the end of the list of tabs.

But the shortcut does not work. Only, it scrolls to the end of the current page as if only "End" is pressed.

I tried the mode without failure of firefox and closed all other open programs.

or may there is a bug in firefox somehow?

  • Keyboard shortcut file

I just downloaded Photoshop CC and I'd like to import my old keyboard shortcuts.

I have the file but does not know where to put it in PS CC.

    Anyone who knows?

    Thank you

    Mikael

If you saved your old keyboard settings in a file *.kbs, then just follow the following steps

    (1) select your "keyboard shortcuts".

    2) click on the button marked

    (3) now in the dialog box which can be empty, just drag and drop your file of *.kbs keyboard customized in this window.

    (4) restart essential Photoshop

    (5) now go back to your keyboard shortcuts dialog box and you must find in the drop-down menu of "series" your custom keyboard file is now listed, select it and restart Photoshop to refresh.

    Hope it works.

  • Customize keyboard shortcuts?

I use Acrobat X Pro for the markup of documents and would like TO have keyboard shortcuts that I could customize. The tools I use most often, and who do not have keyboard shortcuts (which I activated) are: draw the arrow; draw line; draw lines connected; Change the subject; draw the circle; redaction; and draw.

I know Bluebeam has keyboard shortcuts for all their editing/commenting tools, then why not acrobat X pro?

Also, is there a good place/website for third-party add-ins for Adobe to make it more useful/functional?

Cannot change the keyboard shortcuts in the Acrobat X family. As a suite of business software, is an important part of the user interface design that each copy works exactly the same. This simplifies deployment and offers with the customer support at distance, which are a high priority for the Acrobat customer target, is not likely to change anytime soon.

Adobe does not have an "Exchange" for the range of business products as it does for Creative Suite so there is no single source of scripts or plugins. If you are looking for a particular feature that Acrobat does not, Google is probably the best way to find out if a product is available to fit that need.

  • Is it possible to keep the keyboard shortcuts to upgrade to CS5?

Is there a way to preserve my presets, especially my custom shortcuts when I update to a newer version? I went into the folder - Files\Adobe\Adobe C:\Program Illustrator shortcuts CS4\Presets\en_GB\Keyboard - CS4, but all that I could find was the default values (Illustrator Defaults.kys)

I'm eager to keep all the presets, but keyboard shortcuts are more important to me.

On Win7 you can also find your preferences here:

    C:\Users\username\AppData\Roaming\Adobe\Adobe Illustrator CS4 Settings

Note: by default the appData folder is hidden on Win7, you change your folder options see the hidden folders to show the AppData folder to the specified location.

  • Settings > general > keyboard > shortcuts toggle?

I am running iOS 10.0.2 on my Plus 7 iPhone and my iPad 12,9 Pro.

When I go into settings > general > keyboard IPAD Pro, there is a "Shortcuts" under the rocker switch to "Enable Caps Lock" and above the toggle to "Predictive". (Note that the rocker "Shortcuts" also appears on an iPad running iOS 10.0.2). 2 Air

On iPhone 7 more, however, there is no such rocking "shortcuts".

Because, on this same page settings, both devices have an "Alternate text" option that you can type on enter custom keyboard shortcuts, I have no idea what the rocker "Shortcuts" on iPad is for.

I did on 1 million various searches on Google and you have not found the answer.

    Could someone kindly enlighten me?

    Thank you.

The shortcuts are for tools to the left and to the right of the top of the keyboard that you see here. The iPhone screen is probably too small to make use of this feature.

  • Keyboard shortcuts for the screen saver does not

When upgrading to Mac OS Sierra, the hotkey to put the screen in sleep mode (control - shift - (power or Media Eject button )) has stopped working. As I use this command several times a day and don't know not of any other way to put the screen in sleep mode, it's one of the few reasons why I consider really return to El Capitan.

Someone knows how to fix this?

    Hi Zwolff,

Thanks for posting in the Community Support from Apple! I understand that you are having problems with the keyboard shortcut to put your display to sleep. It is certainly a handy to use feature and I'm happy to offer some suggestions to help.

The first thing that I recommend you try safe mode connects. This will clear the caches and conduct audits at your connection. Here you can find the steps for safe mode:

Try safe mode if your Mac does not end commissioning

I also recommend you test this in a test on your Mac user account. There may be software or a specific file of the user that generated problems with your shortcut.

    Thank you very much.

UPDATE: this is the tab key. Why is it he can't use the same shortcut as Safari and other applications?

Don't know what you're trying to do or ask here.

I can't Ctrl + Shift + Tab pages for Mac... Have you asked your question in the right area?

I use these commands to switch between TABS in the two Finder and in Safari (the same keyboard shortcut works in both areas).

  • Alternative text / keyboard shortcuts go after iOS 10

Everyone knows about the loss of their replacement text shortcuts after updating to iOS 10? I feel like it's the opposite problem, we had here: https://discussions.apple.com/thread/6656922?start=465 &

Everything else is transferred in my settings (for example, my keyboards are installed, my emoji frequently used are the same, my bluetooth connections are all there, etc.) except this.

I went from literally a thousand + text to replace default "omw" replacement (on my way!).

I tried to turn on and off road iCloud (although tech said the keyboard shortcuts are stored in the local backup not the cloud) and restart the phone, which is something that I found online. It does not work.

Same thing here. Did not have that much (maybe 20 or more), but now all that remains is the shortcut of Omw.

  • Keyboard shortcut for the Guides of the master in Keynote

Is there a way to define a keyboard shortcut to show / hide the master Guides in Keynote? Get to the subsection of a subsection of the menu command is a bit of a pain when you have to do a lot.

Or is it at least possible to include the command in the toolbar when you customize it? I can do that for the normal guides, but not for the master Guides...

Please Apple, facilitate the work of the creator, and I'll stop complaining about having to use Keynote for presentations at work

You can create a custom for this keyboard command:

    1 - Apple menu > System Preferences > keyboard > shortcuts > App shortcuts:

    2 - Click on the button "+"

3 - enter this information (choose your own combination of keys):

    4 - click on add

    5. close Keynote and open speech and the short cut will be added:
