  • Get an error when you import a security file

    Hello

IM struggling to import a security file in the planning... This is the error I get

Enter the password: kill Mar 30 09:30:53 SAST 2010: validating the Secfile.txt...
Kill Mar 30 09:30:53 SAST 2010:-FILE not FOUND FROM EXCEPTION.

The server is running unix: I use the command from the directory where the utility ImportSecurity.sh is... I also copied the secFlie.txt file in the same directory. But still the same error.

There is a slight problem with versions of unix

If you use the exportsecurity utility it will create a file called:- secFile.txt

When you use the importsecurity utility, it looks for a file called:- Secfile.txt
As it is case sensitive you must update the secFile.txt exported

  • Anyone has any experience of importing a csv file and store it in a database in MS SQL

Anyone has any experience of importing a csv file and store it in a database MS SQL. Outside sql injection there is any another converns security?

    Draft of the steps.

    1. use to download the file from the client to the server see
    http://www.dennismiller.TV/index.cfm/2007/12/26/file-upload-using-ColdFusion-and-Flex

    2. use to read the contents of the file into a variable.

    3. perform a loop on the content of variables for each line, dealing with the variable as a list delimited by a newline rather then a comma

    4. use list functions on each line to get the data you need, and then to transmit these data to SQL with CFQUERY or CFPROCPARAM.

  • import a csv file into AddressBook

I'm migrating from outlook to Thunderbird. Import all the emails and addresses does not work. So I exported by e-mail addresses from my server to a csv file. I imported the csv file into Thunderbird. I have to OK the addresses import. Is it possible to import in one click

If you export all your contacts in a single csv file, you should be able to import the file in a single step, although you may need to edit the csv file before you do:

  • Import a .wab file in thunderbird.

All I want to do is import my Outlook 2003 since my old Dell laptop (XP SP3) addresses to my new laptop HP G61 (Win7). I copied the file .wab on a memory stick and that's as much as I can get. I don't see any option in firefox to import the .wab file. IT REALLY SHOULD NOT BE MADE SO HARD TO DO.

If you have Outlook on the same computer:
Tools > import > address book click Next
    Select: outlook, click Next

You may need to map the fields.

    Otherwise:
You must export the address book in the .csv file.

then Tools > import > address book click Next
Select: text file (Ldif... tab... CSV, txt) and click Next.

If the above is not possible, then you must convert the .wab to a .csv file.

  • Importing a library file (adding) corrupts the content.

When importing (adding) a file of Aperture library to my main library, a lot of mistakes is introduced, including a link to the (masters) badly referenced original. If others have reported this? How do you work around?

I saw a similar problem after testing cleaning applications such as CleanMyMac.Did you try similar request?

But if an Aperture library has a slight alteration, it can worsen after importation from another library.

You could fix the two libraries before trying to merge them by importing.  See the manual page on how to repair the library: action = 10% 26tasks http://documentation.apple.com/en/aperture/usermanual/index.html#chapter=27%26se = true

In any case, I would like to make a backup copy of these two libraries before trying to merge libraries.

If the referenced original links are apparently wrong, you might want to rebuild the thumbnails:

Select the images with the bad link and use the command ' Photos > generate thumbnails "to recreate the thumbnails.

  • I can't find the import option under file, Firefox 7. I'm trying to import bookmarks.

I recently downloaded the latest version of Firefox for Mac 7. I try to import my bookmarks in Safari, and I see no option to import on the file menu.

You will find now import in the library:

    • Bookmarks > show all bookmarks > import and backup > import data from another browser
  • No functionality to import under the "file" menu Using winows xp and firefox 7.0 beta

Trying to import Internet Explorer Favorites. Your help shows how go to 'file' and click Import.

I used the 'alt' key to display the traditional menu.

There is NO "import" under the "file" menu function

    How to import bookmarks?

I use Windows XP and Firefox 7.0 beta.

Import bookmarks in bookmarks (library) Manager

    • Bookmarks > show all bookmarks
  • cannot choose "Import" in the file menu - not highlighted

try to import bookmarks from IE - on the file menu of Firefox choose "Import" is not highlighted and can not be selected - why? Maybe it's a mistake to base on my part from somewhere.

Try their import via the bookmarks Organizer.

    1. From the menus, choose "Bookmarks", then on "organize bookmarks...". "to open the bookmarks Organizer (also known as the name of the library)
    2. In the library, select "Import and backup" then "Import HTML.

This gives you the ability to import from Internet Explorer?

If it isn't, export favorites in Internet Explorer to a HTML file, and then import the HTML file in Firefox. This process is described in the article importing Internet Explorer Favorites from another computer .

  • import of backup files .dat in 6.2.2 point Office Windows 8.1

I just upgraded my PC Windows 8 (BIG mistake) and he decided to delete all my PALM data files.  I thought THAT I had everything backed up, but the only files I backed up was called a "address.dat" and the new Palm (6.2.2) software is not allowing me to import that.   The 'aba' only backup file I have is from 2005 and that won't do me any good.

Anyone know how I can import the .dat file in my address book?

    Thank you!

    Mark

Hello and welcome to the HP support community!

Only way I know to import data is to install Palm Desktop 4.x on the computer you have now (delete 6.2.2 first - you can't have both installed at the same time!), to create the same account of HotSync name as before and then replace the file address.dat for Palm Desktop user with your saved version.

See if the data returns.  If so, you can export correctly in order to have an update of the aba file version.

NOTE: Palm Desktop 4.x will work on Win8 with the Aceeca drivers installed.  Quick installation is not working properly.  Version 6.2.2 adds "install the tool" which works similar to quick setup, but works fine on 64 bit systems.

  • import a WAV file into iTunes?

Can someone explain to me how do I import a WAV file into iTunes? I'm dragging in, right/option clicking on the file and go - open in iTunes but nothing happens and I can't play or do anything with it. Thank you

It adds no doubt, but given that WAV files do not contain track information is to find with no name of the album and as the file name for a song title. Look in your recently added playlist.

Solved. My bad.  The disc was mounting after all. I expected as a sign that he had ridden to the password prompt. Never asked you to P/o, so I guess it wasn't fitting and accessible. It's mounting and available without password.
