  Using photoshop elements 11 (updates are current) using window 10 operating system... after installation of the updates of Windows 10 (without a restore point saved... yes I'm a fool)... photoshop began to act up.  On all but the drive root (C :), when I put them in a file jpg for editing and then try to save it with a changed name using the command file save as...) I get the message noted.  It makes no sense since I am trying to rename the file by using the Save as command for a new unique name.  The Save command works fine as long as I don't have to rename the file.  The previously described problem does not happen if I do this using the main C: drive, but it occurs on all the other drives. E:, W:, Z; J: etc.  I can't restore so I went to reinstall photoshop like my only option unless someone has a solution.   Thank you

  Reinstalled Photoshop elements 11 with no changes or improvements to the problem.  I've found a workaround which is a pain in the Azz...

  Whenever I have photoshop edit a JPG image, I always hit "save under" and add an E in the back of the name of the image... it always worked well until recently (as explained above)... to get the message "can not save as # because the file is not found".   I don't know what it looks like on OS X, but on versions Linux and Windows Firefox isn't the function "import bookmarks" in the file menu. Yet it is in the "bookmarks library.

  Try to go to Favorites = > show all bookmarks and you should see the 'Library of Favorites' window and the features of import/export in there.

  You try to import the files, excluding videos. Later, check to see if the problem persists.
