Import of shared in a DRM hierarchy members

Hello!  I'm looking to import a hierarchy that contains shared members, i.e. the same member exists under different parents when the first occurrence is the primary member, while all other occurrences of the Member must be imported as a shared.  However treated DRM member as duplicate, and accordingly, chains of prefixes or suffixes as defined in the Style tab to ensure that the sole member.  Then when I export the hierarchy, I have to remove these prefexes import in EPMA as shared members (which is defined according to the IsPrimary indicator)

Is it possible to indicate DRM that it is a shared member and not to prefix/suffix strings during import?

Thank you!

DRM makes every single node, but the titles which is primary and which are shared through properties in the Shared tab.  Also, there is a property to export the names without the suffix.  See the documentation on the shared members!

    Hello

I have a shared object that I would like to import with "Import shared objects" to create a library, but it contains a function defined in another line (#nclude), so I can't use the lvlib that produces the LV.

I can solve this problem? How do I create a shared object that include other .o?

    Thank you.

    g++ name.o -shared -o libname.so

    with the '-l' option?

    g++ name.o -shared -o libname.so -L /usr/lib/name2.so

    Is this good?

    Thank you.

It really depends. If you have two 'clean' cpp files, the simplest solution is to simply link the .o files all together in the phase of final link in listing them all as input for the llink gcc command file. Otherwise if your name2.so file already exists, you shouldn't really need to do anything special other than to ensure that it exists on the target system and is communicated to the linker 'ld' through the ldshared tool execution.

Unlike Windows where each import must be paid at the time of link, either by an implementation of actual function in a file object or by the bias and the import file object library that performs dynamic load-time linking, shared Linux elf libraries do not need that. The linker during the generation of the shared library object file requires simply that the dynamic loader "ld" will be at the time of loading the shared library object file, resolve the symbols accordingly. That the purpose of the shared library must of course be installed and recognized by the linker to DL on the target, as mentioned above, copying in a well-known directory on the target and running ldshared awareness in the cache of the ld.

  • import the shared library function name change

    Hello

I used 'Import Shared Library' to create a lvlib, but he changed function name, for example to Z2onj() on(), so created VI does not work.

    It has this error:

Call library function node "libname.": Z2onj: function not found in the library

    Details:

The name of the function specified for this node is not found in the library. Click the node to call a library function and select Configure, and then choose the name to function properly.

    How can I solve?

    Thank you.

    Hi Salvo,

you need to create again the lvlib with the new name.

  • Integration with services shared in Hyperion DRM 11.1.2.1

    Hi all

We have Hyperion foundation services to server 1 and DRM in Server 2.

May I know the below scenarios with or not above architecture.

    1. is it possible to integrate DRM with Shared Services?

If I give in tab CSS Foundation Server ip or host, under the application, I get the name of the foundation server and application does not start.

    2. in the same architecture, is it possible to install DRM web Services API. ?

We need to reinstall foundation on server DRM?

    Thank you

    Mady

    Hi Madhu,

When the services of the Foundation is on another computer, you must have the services of the Foundation of libraries Java installed on the machine DRM where the bridge process CSS runs because she needs the 'CSS' jar files that are referenced in the DRM console is available.

I don't remember the exact details these days for 11.1.2.1 because it is quite some time now and the docs are not yet available these days except for zipped download (which I think is a bit a hint to upgrade). 11.1.2.4 but I think you need to install and configure (but not start) Foundation Services on the computer DRM (using the existing foundation services schema) as a secondary instance Services Foundation to lay down etc. required JAR files.

The general theme will be the same, but some details may differ. I would like to download the 11.1.2.1 doc set and check the installation guide for DRM, if I were you I think.

    Concerning

    Craig

P.S. I think that you might be lucky the 11.1.2.1 docs were available with a google search - the CSS of the 11.1.2.1 section installation guide here is Setup Guide

  • Can I refer to a rangelist in a hierarchy of shared member?

I would like to make the sum of a series of accounts based on one hierarchy, not the main hierarchy.  In the hierarchy of the main, they are 1,5,4,3,2, and in the alt hierarchy, they are shared in the good order of 1,2,3,4,5.  If I reference the rank 1:3, how can you ensure that I get 1,2,3,4 and not 1,5,4,3?

    Background:

Basically, I'm trying to map a sum of numerical range of account numbers in general ledger to another account of management based on the members of the other 2 dimensions.  The main problem I have is that, as I have not found the function that can sort in alphanumeric order a list within a selection of members, and my GL accounts are not in the order in the hierarchy of main due to a reorganization of their parents, I loaded as a sorted list of platform of shared to another hierarchy members.  Now, I just @LIST (1:3, [the optional to use as reference parent node]) function.  I guess another way of asking the question might be: how to reference the member names in Essbase as digital beaches as you would in an ERP?

Maybe there is another way and I approach it all wrong?

    Essbase v11.1.2.3.507 (under planning)

So what you really want is to extract all accounts with a number between e.g. 1 and 4 (even if the same parent has other children of 5, 6, 7 and so on)?

@BETWEEN would do in this case.

  • Shared members

Is it better to use members shared in the hierarchy of accounts or use the calculation rule.

It is always best to handle all possible calculations using alternate hierarchies and shared in the account dimension members. Predetermined spare and shared members provide that visibility also reduces calculation time considerably

  • Error during import Shared Library: library specified for this node was not found or could not be loaded

    Hello

I use LV-2009 for Linux. I am creating a Wrapper Vi. I have a simple addition of C++ function that I created a .h header file and a shared .so library. After you import the shared library, I get an error report, I joined here (Report.doc).

When I right click on the Subvi and click on configure to mention the .so library path, I see a window saying "file not found. The file may have been moved or delete", even though I have this library in the path that I've specified.

I've attached a screenshot of the error I get. Please suggest what can be done.

    Thank you.

  • EPMA shared members not reflecting is not in application post deployment planning

    Hello

I added a member in 'Entity' dimnesion. The same Member is also added in other hiererchy as a shared member (using members option insert in the library of dimension). When I update the application view, I see the founding members and Member shared in application vieiw. But after the deployment, the base member is reflected in the planning application and not to the shared member.

I transferred the application several times now, but I'm still not able to see the shared members reflected in the planning application.

  • PeopleSoft for integration of DRM

    Hello
Is there a way to integrate PeopleSoft for DRM?

Requirement: Couple of hierarchies is kept in PeopleSoft. If there are changes in PeopleSoft, he will push a flat file. DRM needs to load these changes on a regular basis.

I know I can do this by planning a combination of import/Homogenizer. What is the only way to do it?

    (1) you are right. Another option is the load the hierarchy of PeopleSoft and the DRM hierarchy in a database, then compare the two hierarchies for changes. Once you have changes, you can load them in DRM. This option is not that great if you need to make the comparison on multiple hierarchies, but it is another option.

    (2) it's okay.

  • Moving to common members, Possible?

I know that I can use the rule of 'Letting go' load in order to make changes of parent/child hierarchy. However, is it possible to use load rule to do the same thing for another hierarchy (i.e. a hierarchy with shared members). I want to be able to move members shared around the alt hierarchy but could find a way to do it.

    Isn't this possible?

the only automated way I know is to remove dimension members and the re - add. I'm lying of course, you could write a routine using the API to do. Of course, you know, you can do it manually in the EAS, but which can also be a lot of work

  • Cannot generate an alt with load rule hierarchy

I try to use a rule of load to build a hierarchy of alternative to ASO.

I used level build (Lev 0, 1 Lev, Lev 2 and so on).

But when I run it it gives me the error incorrect Parent for each record

    \\Record #1 - wrong parent... For members... (3307)
    \\Record #2...
    \\Record #3...
    error.

I tried to not build level 0 and only level 1 and upwards and it gives me a \\Column 2 failed Validation. I tried to use the generation to generation and it gives me the same thing. I tried to use only level build for children below the Summit, and it's the same thing.

In the build settings Sun, I put already "allow change of ownership.

Someone at - it a hierarchy successor to ASO before being able to build?

To create another hierarchy using level of generations, you need to have the cumulative primary and the other in the files (at least 1 for the primary level) using Cameron favorite sample basic database, if we want to create the hierarchy product for drinks carbonated diet a level build methid file and rule should look like to (Note I do not know if the product numbers are actually coupons for basic example)
    In my example, I'll use
100-10 = cola (no hierarchy replacing)
    100 20 = diet Cola
    200-20 = root beer diet

    LEv0, LEv1, Prouct Lev1 product, product
    100-10 100
    Soft 100-20 100 diets
    Soft 200-20 200 diets

Of course, you could add more to the file as properties, additional levels, alias, etc. but the format should be like this.
The simplest method for the construction of replacing rollups is parent-child. If members already exist, it adds automatically as shared under the new hierarchy unles syou members define the dimension of generation for him properties allow them of no not or move members

  • Automation of the operations of the group security Shared Services - Add / Remove / outsource

    Hello

Is it possible to automate, add / outsource / remove users (external user) from a security group?

Earlier, I used to do this with MXL (change user...) but it seems that this approach is not taken in charge of 11.1.2.4 from.

    Thank you...

There are a lot of messages and articles on LCM, everything you need to do is a little research.

There is also documentation of LCM - life cycle management

The LCM of SSP import options are available to- States Migration native Directory Import Options

What I recommend is to do the research, run an export of LCM of SSP, throw an eye on the format, have a look at the options available, create your import files, import into shared Services.

Once you are satisfied, you can start seek to automate using the LCM, the information is in the documentation link I provided

    See you soon
