  Fact the mistake of using VAIO Care today and I think that the JavaScript rendering functionality does not record cleaning.

  Firefox: sites like FB saying "Please enable JavaScript" when JavaScript is already enabled.  I unchecked the box, restarted FF and checked again; restarted several times; Installed FF again on itself; Uninstalled and reinstalled FF...

  Am also having problems with JavaScript with Opera.  Have resorted to Chrome, I don't really like.

  I'm not very well informed about this kind of thing: I've done everything I know how to do it.

• Impossible to install the Version of update on Vaio Care 8.4.1 07026

  I recently upgraded from win 8 to 8.1 Win.  I have a Sony Vaio, model # SVT15112CXS.  My Windows updates are up to date, all my apps are also updated and all my Vaio updates are underway except the one that does not install.  The Vaio Care Update Version 8.4.1 07026.  It passes through the download process, then it displays the window where there is extraction "Sony Packaging Manager", shows that it is preparing to install, so he says it configures Vaio Care, then it collects the required information, he goes on to say that he is about to remove the old version of the application, then, he says he removes the old version.  It stops after that and then gets listed under the box that says "update of programs that failed to install.  It does not give a reason.

  I use Windows Defender and I even added Vaio Care to the list of excluded files.  When I called Sony tech said that my computer is no longer under warranty, I would have to pay $100 to fix.  Does anyone have solutions or ideas as to what is happening?  Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated.

  Have you tried reinstalling your VAIO Care program and get the latest update from eSupport? Uninstall your current program of VAIO Care, download the originally shipped version of VAIO Care to eSupport (ver. 8.1.0.10120) and once that it re-installed, try to update to 8.4.1.07026.   VAIO VPCCW21FX vaio update version 5 but does not update.
  The control panel and remove the vaio update installed at new, but does not.

  Many users have had problems with these programs. There are a lot of posts in this section relating to similar issues that you are experiencing currently. I take some time and look at some of the problems/solutions that others have tried. You may receive a "generic" to one of the moderators answer to "(appelez le support technique, réinstaller, faire une restauration complète de votre système, etc.)." I assure you that many users have tried everything above with little or no chance.

  May we are waiting for a patch or upgrade to the software to solve the current problems.

  FYI... just noticed that there is an update of the VAIO Care software on the site eSupport for my laptop model. The update date 29/03/2011 and the version # is 6.4.0.15030. It is said in the release notes that it is supposed to contain a fix for the problems download Self Heal and Patch a lot of posters have had problems with. Hope it works.

  Now just waiting for Sony to issue an update/fix to the Vaio Update software!

  Thanks for your reply... In fact, we found the resolution. The VAIO Care version has 6. We went in the VAIO care and deleted folder logs in the Logs folder and it worked, it works with all versions of VAIO care.
