  Anyone tried the installation with the new Option of software updates?
  
  I'm going to install grid RAC 11 GR 2 and I intend to do the following steps:
  (1) install the Oracle Grid Infrastructure 11.2.0.2 patch group
  (2) make all configurations with YES
  (3) create ASM disks
  (4) install Oracle Database 11.2.0.2 software only
  (5) apply recommended patches 11.2.0.2.2 Oracle (12311357) and 12431716. (Ref. MOS doc [756671.1 ID])
  (6) create the RAC (advanced option) with DBCA database
  
  With these steps:
  Grid and ASM disks would be configured without the recommended patches, but the database will be created with applied patches.
  
  I would not do a "Software only" install IM and then apply the patches because later I would have to manually do all the configuration steps.
  
  If I use the Option of YES software updates to apply patches, YES makes the adjustment, and then I would set up the GRID with YES?

  Can you post the model number of your COMPUTER and the operating system? It is possible that your VAIO care software may be damaged or a file may have been deleted. What we can do is to download and reinstall the original version of VAIO care and update later. I hope this helps!

  I have a SVS1512DCXB Sony Vaio model.  I need to reinstall all including SONY Vaio, VAIO Control Center, and VAIO Care software.  It doesn't seem to be a full installation package on page 10 to 64-bit Windows.  All I see are updated and they do not install the full suite.  Where can I find a complete installation package.

  Make sure that you AV or firewall does not block it.

  Try clicking on the install RMB and selecting 'run as Admin '.

  If it does not create a new admin account in windows and login to this account.

I take some time and look at some of the problems/solutions that others have tried.   With regard to compatibility with Roxio Creator (which version) or aHead Nero 9 - probably best to check with the manufacturer of each product.  I think 2.5 was released to the Media Center to Windows XP.  May not be the latest version - sure, it can be downloaded.  v2.0 may be the last actually supported under XP.

  Se, Reader cannot do this. You can do it with a subscription to services pack pdf or the full version of Adobe Acrobat.

The update is great. The new dial keypad and qwerty fonts are much clearer and more precise. Having the speed of the dial is too large.

• Impossible to install the Version of update on Vaio Care 8.4.1 07026

  I recently upgraded from win 8 to 8.1 Win.  I have a Sony Vaio, model # SVT15112CXS.  My Windows updates are up to date, all my apps are also updated and all my Vaio updates are underway except the one that does not install.  The Vaio Care Update Version 8.4.1 07026.  It passes through the download process, then it displays the window where there is extraction "Sony Packaging Manager", shows that it is preparing to install, so he says it configures Vaio Care, then it collects the required information, he goes on to say that he is about to remove the old version of the application, then, he says he removes the old version.  It stops after that and then gets listed under the box that says "update of programs that failed to install.  It does not give a reason.

  I use Windows Defender and I even added Vaio Care to the list of excluded files.  When I called Sony tech said that my computer is no longer under warranty, I would have to pay $100 to fix.  Does anyone have solutions or ideas as to what is happening?  Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated.

  Have you tried reinstalling your VAIO Care program and get the latest update from eSupport? Uninstall your current program of VAIO Care, download the originally shipped version of VAIO Care to eSupport (ver. 8.1.0.10120) and once that it re-installed, try to update to 8.4.1.07026. • BlackBerry Smartphones Software update problem with new tour

  I got my wife a tour yesterday. When I connected it to my laptop to add music, it says that there is a software update (OS 4.7 and other files). So I updated the device (took about 45 minutes or more). Then I clickd'autant Media Manager to see, I had not installed it yet (I use Media Sync with my Storm). So I installed Media Manager and said to reboot my PC. So I restart and reload the desktop software and low, and here I thought I should do the exact same device update that I had done a few hours ago!

  The unit works fine as far as I can tell. Would it be a bug in the desktop software? A glitch in the OS device? Or should I re - update the tour just to be sure (where he actually has not worked right the first time)?

  OK, well... Sorry, the operating system is not updated. The Tour launched with OS.40 and, last week, Verizon started pushing notificiatons for update of Os.53, so what is updated to the device, the operating system was NOT.

  so... my recommendation - do a full backup in the first place with the Director of office and then allow the upgrade of operating system continue.

  Restore your most recent backup.  If you do the OS update on the PC, then the process should have another backup who started.
