    Hello

I hope that someone can help you.  I have been using my MacBook and iPhone 6 for many months now, whenever I plug my phone into the MacBook it opens iTunes and Photos and start to synchronize, until this week, I had no problem at all.

This week, however, my MacBook suddenly decided that he would try and re - import about 1000 photos that were already in the library, there was more, but some appeared to be recognized as he highlighted the importation of all the new photos option, however it didn't delete photos on iPhone when they are imported.

I imported the photos and thought it might be a little problem and I wanted to make sure I had, anyway, I thought it was, but I connected my iPhone several times this week, and every time he asks me to import the exact same photos every time.

I'm not aware of any settings being changed on my iPhone, so I have no idea how or why it happens suddenly, can anyone help?

    Thank you very much

Perhaps you could import the photos manually:

Connect the camera to the computer via a USB cable and
    Turn on the camera.

Reach... Start / computer / removable devices
    Storage...

Look at the drive letters and see if one of them
represents the camera. He can say removable disk

If the camera is recognized... right click on the drive letter
and from the menu choose... Open or explore.

The directory of the memory card in the camera must
poster and if you browse through the various
files, you must find the photo files.

Once found... you can copy/paste the pictures in a folder
    on your hard drive.

Simple and the best solution IMHO is to use an internal
or external USB memory card reader.

It will not drain your camera batteries and can be faster.
FWIW... download from the camera when batteries
can be low after a long photo shoot could result
    corrupted photos.

  • Error Message, "are you sure you want to cancel importing?" when importing the photos.

For about a week, every time I connect my Windows phone (Nokia Lumia 925) import of images starts as before.

Can someone tell me what to do to fix this?

    Thank you

    Hi Ron,

    Thank you for your response.

As I asked some details in my last post, I would need to know,

    1. Remember to make changes to your computer recently?
    2. No matter what software you use to import the photos?

In the meantime, you can try the following suggestion.

    • If you have another windows phone, please try to connect to your computer and check if you have the same message, if so, under the.
    • Alternatively, you can try to update firmware of phone Nokia about the Nokia site and check if it helps.

You can check the link below for updates.

Hope that this information helps, otherwise reply with the above information so that we could help you more.

  • After importing the photos

I have several weird questions.  Firstly, my computer unplugged and died in the middle to start editing a series of photos after importing (I import using the option 'Copy').  Once I plugged the computer back in and open to new Lightroom, I got the error message there was a problem displaying my previews.  I tried to restart the program, and that didn't help. I tried restarting the computer and that did not work. Then I checked the forums and people told to remove the preview folder.  I did and Lightroom is finally open.  I tried to re - import the photos that I needed to edit because they are no longer there, but then I get the message "there is no picture to import" even if it's picture still in my computer and the disk, they came.  I don't know why when I imported the photos once, I can't do it a second time to change again.  Help!  I need to edit these photos!

If Lightroom import them it means that really, they are already in your library. You may need to search for them. Just run a search for filename in the filter in case of «all photographs» bar If you still can't find not just imported with "don't import suspected duplicates" unchecked (in the file tab on the right of handling).

  • I imported the photos before and I wanted to reimport them how can I do this?

I imported the photos last night and they are not in lightroom today, I would like to import several photos I did not get a chance to edit and try to figure out how I can get back to lightroom to finish their change.

If you have deleted, deleted from the catalog then just re - import. If you tried to re - import and you get no images displayed in the import dialog, whereas they are still in the catalog and there is no reason to try and re - import.

Just find these images in the library module and make your setting in the develop module.

Once any image is imported into a LR catalog never goes away unless you remove it from the catalog or delete the file of the actual image of your hard drives.

When you import an image in LR all you do creates a record in the database of LR, the catalog file. The image is not really in LR. It is stored on your hard drive somewhere and referenced by LR in the database file, that is to say the LR catalog file.

Possibly, you have made changes to your 'by default develop settings'. The default WB in Lightroom should be "under the shot" to view this selection has recently imported a file raw in the develop Module, click history in the left panel, click on the first import. (see screen capture) and then see what settings have been applied to import for the white balance it must be 'in the know '.

  • I imported the photos "in a file" instead of "Date".

I imported the photos into Lr and the area has been verified "in a file" instead of "Date" in error.

The pictures are in Lr but do not appear in the list of file folder in my folder of Photos with Lightroom.

I've sorted, edited, scored and code color them. This train of about 500 photos.

Is it possible that I can change the setting of these photos so they apprear as 'Date' in my folder of Photos with Lightroom?

Of course, in Lightroom creates the folder desired to the desired location (click the plus sign to the right of the word files +), then also in Lightroom, select all of the photos and drag them to the folder newly created in the folder Panel

  • Can I really not import the Photos app in iMovie?

    Hello

I use iMovie 10.0.8 on a Macbook Pro running El Capitan 10.11.4. I am the only user of this Mac and its running in standard mode administrator/Overlord. There is no guest user account, or anything else.

I have a Nikon camera, when I import pictures and video of the Nikon, it goes directly into the program the picture of Apple. It is very good.

However, when I want to import photos or video in iMovie he won't let me. I have to physically move the things I want in a new folder on the desktop and then iMovie has no problem to see and import.

Am I stupid? I simply click on the button import into iMovie, look in Macintosh HD but the photos app is grayed out! I just want to be able to empty all in Photos and then import from there, as I want to!

iMovie shows you all the libraries of pictures in the section 'my media '.

    For example:

Click on 'My media', and then click the photo library in the sidebar and wait a bit.  Photos will show you every moment, and albums, ready to drag the photos and clips to the timeline of your project.

My screenshot is iMovie 10.1.2.  You can update iMovie for El Capitan 10-11, 4.
