This "glitch": occurs, even when I try using a brand new 'Blackberry ID' connect using. I get an error message saying something similar to "failed to connect; check the network settings.   HI - sorry if this has been solved before and/or requested but I searched and could not "find something. I just got a blackberry storm a few days ago and downloaded the world of blackberry apps and when I go to my download folder is not there and I can't find the app world icon anywhere.   In some cases, it was discovered that updates (from got AppWorld apps) require additional steps in order to install the update. If the update will not install, please try this:

  1. Homescreen > Options > Advanced Options > Applications > highlight the app > > remove
  2. AppWorld > MyWorld > Login > highlight the app (if she shows at all, in any State) > > remove
