• Please help; Impossible to change the position of my wallpaper!

  I know this isn't a big problem; but I would like it's working properly anyway.  I tried a new image for my wallpaper, and it showed as an image full screen.  I didn't like it then, immediately, I went back to the original image, and it was too full screen.  I went to the desktop background and the position is as I've had with a frame black (I also tried other colors) around the image, but it was not of themselves.  I tried all the different positions and nothing will change.  The image will change, but any image I try is full screen.

  Policies automatically goes to "off" If you have your screen as working RGB profile - what is something that you should never do. Always have a standard space like RGB work.

  And Yes, "preserve embedded profiles" is the only sensitive parameter. Others are best for special purposes where you really know what you are doing - at worst they will transform your archive in a unrecoverable mess.

  Sorry to see you facing problems with the latest version of InDesign.

  We understand why this problem is considered and have another workaround and then deleting preferences and caches.

  This issue is seen with the Menu mode of fonts "search first word only." Please use the 'Search font set name' mode to work around the problem so that solve us this problem.

  To change the mode click the search icon (magnifying glass) the box to change the menu font and choose 'Search entire font name' in the drop down menu.

  I need assistance to change the default location for my screenshots. I tried all the advice I could find so far, the default terminal command 'defaults write com.apple.screencapture location' does not work.

  I did the 'killall SystemUIServer' and also tried a manual reboot.

  When I use the command 'defaults read com.apple.screencapture' it displays the right folder (i.e. ...Desktop/Screenhots), but when I take a screenshot it still saves on the Desktop and not in the folder.

  I tried to restore the location to it's default value, I also tried to change the location using Onyx, I checked to see if the folder has the correct rights.

  So anything else I can try other than a fresh install?

  I would like to edit the places bar settings to only show matching bookmarks first instead of the basic story hits. For example, I want fast access to the web site "xxxx". I start to type in "xx" and the first suggestion for the main site - that's why I bookmarked "xxxx.com/forum". With the bookmark next time that I start to type 'xx' it always shows the "xxxx.com/forum" first of all, no matter which I consulted knows main "xxxx.com" more. The show only bookmarks in Options-> privacy option would suit me because I want to view the history of institutions.

  In the search box, type places.frecency.bookmarkVisitBonus

  Double click this entry and change the value (wear to something like 1000) and it should greatly increase the weight given to your Favorites in priority in the suggestions.

  Do the same with places.frecency.unvisitedBookmarkBonus

  You can also change the other weight: just look for places.frecency (and play with it)
