• Please help; Impossible to change the position of my wallpaper!

  I know this isn't a big problem; but I would like it's working properly anyway.  I tried a new image for my wallpaper, and it showed as an image full screen.  I didn't like it then, immediately, I went back to the original image, and it was too full screen.  I went to the desktop background and the position is as I've had with a frame black (I also tried other colors) around the image, but it was not of themselves.  I tried all the different positions and nothing will change.  The image will change, but any image I try is full screen.

  I'm trying to change GUEST password by editing the context file (s_guest_pass) and then running the autoconfiguration service.
  If automatic configuration is done correctly the log file has errors such as
  
  Impossible to update GUEST_USER_PWD in the database for the COMMENTS/NEWPASS - unable to access the ORACLE application password
  
  Cause: Object Library Application could not access your ORACLE password.
  
  Action: Contact your technical support representative.
  Impossible to update GUEST_USER_PWD in the database for the COMMENTS/NEWPASS - cannot access password ORACLE application.
  
  (Note: the above messages are generated when the autoconfig call adgendbc)
  
  Also both the sql ' select fnd_web_sec.validate_login ('GUEST', 'NEWPASS') from dual;
  
  "select fnd_web_sec.validate_login ('GUEST', 'ORACLE') from dual;
  
  returns N.
  
  Which means that the password of COMMENTS is not changed.
  
  I checked the dbc file and profile GUEST_USER_PWD option, two of them have the new password.
  
  If I go back the password (i.e. reset s_guest_pass to ORACLE), autoconfig succeeds with no message and the SQL ' select fnd_web_sec.validate_login ('GUEST', 'ORACLE') from dual; "returns"Y ".
  
  Can you please advice if Miss me something?

  I need assistance to change the default location for my screenshots. I tried all the advice I could find so far, the default terminal command 'defaults write com.apple.screencapture location' does not work.

  I did the 'killall SystemUIServer' and also tried a manual reboot.

  When I use the command 'defaults read com.apple.screencapture' it displays the right folder (i.e. ...Desktop/Screenhots), but when I take a screenshot it still saves on the Desktop and not in the folder.

  I tried to restore the location to it's default value, I also tried to change the location using Onyx, I checked to see if the folder has the correct rights.

  So anything else I can try other than a fresh install?

  I run windows 8.1 and I could not change the brightness of the screen for a while now.

  It happened a few months before, but after a random number of days that it worked again, now it is stuck in about 60% bright max, which is not enough when the sun comes through the window.

  According to the Toshiba Satellite Pro C50-A-143 datasheet this laptop has been preloaded with Win 7 64 bit and Win additional 8.1 own drive was part of the package.
  I assume that you have installed own 8.1 win but have not installed all the drivers Toshiba win 8.1.

  Is this correct?

  Visit the page of the Toshiba UE driver, install all the drivers, tools and utilities (graphic card drivers display tool, driver Toshiba system, etc.)
  Utility function key Toshiba is very important if it is to use the key function (Fn, F1-10)

  Then you should be able to use the function key to decrease and increase the brightness of the display.

  I'm unable to change the title of a table, when I change the title name and press on enter it reverts to the original title. I tried to click away and save the document, but both go back to the original title. The only way to work is, it seems if the option a table a few times then start trying a new title.

  This can happen when you have a table with the same name on the same sheet.  Numbers of refuses to accept the name "double".  Check the names of the tables on the al sheet again.  One way to do that is to click the right part of the tab "" at the top with the sheet and inspect the table names in the drop-down menu that appears.

  Hi experts,

  I just reimagee my laptop with Windows7.  Some drivers installed from the support page, driver HP hotkey is installed.  Now I find that I can not change the brightness of backlight Fn + F9/F10.  But in the meantime, I'm able to change volumn via Fn + F6/F7.  It's only the glow of the Fn key does not looks.

  Is there anything else that I should install?  Or any instruction to solve this problem?

  On Windows Vista and later versions, these settings can only be changed in MAX as an administrator. Just right-click on the icon and choose 'Run as administrator' and everything should be made available to you.

My environment is mainly Server 2008 R2, I asked the Admins who are unable to use net user to change their own password to a high command line. I checked their permissions and they have two buttons and change the permissions on the user object.

  Using of "net user [username] * / Domain" they always get access denied, it works if I give them full control. Is there permission miss me except change and reset?

• Impossible to change the profiles of my 2 children, there is no EDIT option

  Recently, I created 2 children profiles, it seems they have en default location, but we live in the Canada.  When you try to activate child accounts he immediately asks me to put my credit card information as well as the address is specified in the United States.  I want to change the location of my accounts of children, but I see no EDIT option for profiles on my administrator account, and when I try to log on to the account of children he sent me on my administrator account, bottom line is, I can't change the profile of my children.  Help, please!  I followed my parent account options, but so far, none of them show EDIT on child accounts.

  I suspect that the reason why you had no answer is that no one understands the problem, because there is not enough detail to explain it. You have posted in the forum for e-mail client software - Windows Live Mail - which your question seems not to have any connection. So, I guessed, that you need help with Windows Live Family Safety, if your question has been moved to a forum where these issues are now after a reorganization of the forum.

  1. I created 2 profiles of children: where?
     In a program on your computer? If so, which? Please give full name, for example Windows Live Family Safety, family of Norton 360 V5
     In an applet of the Control Panel on your computer, such as user accounts?
     On a website? If so, which? Please copy the address in the address bar of your browser and paste it into your reply here.
  2. What operating system is installed on the computer? If you are unsure, press the Windows key + R, type winver , and then press enter. This will show you the version of Windows installed.

  If this is not sufficient to allow a person to answer your question, it should at least be possible to point you in the right direction.
