Impossible to drag and drop songs to the playlist in Windows media player

Original title: drag and drop the songs into playlists in windows media player__

I can't drag and drop songs into playlists in windows media player. I can select the album and drag it, but it will not fall into the playlist.

Hi PatsJames,

1 when was the last time it was working fine?

2. what happens when you drag and drop songs in Windows media player?

3. this happens with all types of songs?

This problem occurs if the Windows Media Player database is corrupted.

To resolve this problem, delete the Windows Media Player database. To do this, follow these steps:

(a) click Start , click run , type %LOCALAPPDATA%\Microsoft\Media Player , and then click OK.

(b), select all the files in the folder, and then click delete on the file menu.

Note  You don't have to remove the folders that are in this folder.

(c) restart Windows Media Player.

Note  Windows Media Player automatically rebuilds the database.

  • Cannot drag and drop songs into the playlist in windows media player.

We just got a new laptop with windows 7 and I guess windows media player the windows media player 12. I tried to add songs on my mp3 player. After I rip the songs on the cd, I can't drag and drop them in my playlist. When I drag a song it shows a picture of the cover of the cd, with the words "a track" on this subject and a red circle with a slash but it. He didn't let me down. I've never had a problem with media player before on our other computer. I'm doing something wrong or something is wrong with my drive? I tried different CD 2 and 2 separate mp3 players.

    Thank you

It seems OK, can I have solved the problem. Still not sure what was going on. Thank you

  • multiple copies of each song in the playlist on Windows media player

OK here is the problem Windows media player started acting up six months ago in taking my music and doubling and tripling, so next time I opened the player instead of having a song should be 2 to 3 to 4 copies of the same song wasn't a single album it was different albums all new songs of my old songs I had before on another computer has not copied over.

It was the first problem, the second problem which began about three months ago, I started noticing the programs that I installed on the computer telling me that I had a visual experience better if I update Windows media player, not a program but several when I checked the version it has been updated.

So why if it's updated all programs says visual experience would be better if I updated the player?  so I go into troubleshooting utility to see what could be wrong.  When is the troubleshooting he wants to restore default I very well it but it never gets done and the problem does not get resolved?  Convenience store also happens with configuration parameters are defined bad convenience store as soon as the defect does not solve the problem if any body knows how to solve this problem Windows player plays correctly, but it is very tiring having to remove 300 songs because they have doubled and tripled.  My operating system is Windows 7 Home premium 64-bit Windows media player as I can tell is number 11 and a updated version of programs that are installed on my computer tell me to update? I have other programs that do also video just need to know why Windows media player is not compatible or apparently not compatible with other programs? no response would be good any help would be nice.

    Help, help, help, help, please.

    Hi Ken

I see that you have not been offered help with this yet, so we'll see if we can get something going on!

Firstly if you have Windows 7 you must run WMP 12. You run automatic updates from MS?

In any case I want you to try is - go to "User accounts" in the control panel and together an account "number two". When this is done to insert a cd and Media Player will open and ask you to use the default settings or customize it. I had to go for custom parameters and in the quality of at192mbps "rip music" tab select mp3 or more (you can get a box pop up asking you to accept copyright laws - accept and continue)...

When he's ready, rip the cd and we'll see if this second account behaves or if you get the same problem of duplication. Looking forward to the result!

    Hello

    • Will there be any changes made prior to this issue?
    • What version of Windows are you using?

Step 1: I recommend to run the Windows Media Player settings Troubleshooter and check.

    http://Windows.Microsoft.com/en-us/Windows7/open-the-Windows-Media-Player-settings-Troubleshooter

Step 2: If the problem is to uninstall and reinstall Windows Media Player. Here's how.

Uninstalling and reinstalling Windows Media Player:

    (A) uninstall Windows Media Player:

    a. go to start and in the search type 'Turn Windows has or not'.

    b. click on "Turn Windows features on or off".

    c. find multimedia and uncheck the brand in the face of Windows Media Player.

    d. restart the computer

    (B) reinstall Windows Media Player:

    a. go to start and in the search type 'Turn Windows has or not'.

    b. click on "Turn Windows features on or off".

    c. find the multimedia functions and place a check mark in front of the Windows Media Player.

    d. restart the computer.

  • Lose the metadata between Rpping and recently added to the library in Windows Media Player 11

    Hello

I am running XP Pro SP3 with Windows Media Player 11.  When I copy a cd, I am able to see all metadata for the album, wallets, etc...  After extraction of the CD, when I go to the library and look in the library recently added, the album metadata disappears and I have to do an Album Info find all over again.   Is there a setting I need to use to keep the library metadata of the tear of the album?

    Thank you!

    Anna_Marie

I suggest that you try to reset the library, by following the instructions for WMP 11 on XP at http://zachd.com/pss/pss.html#medialibrary. Note the reset of the library will make you lose all the counts to play and possibly ratings too.

  • I can't drag and drop files in the trash, error code-43 is detected, what should I do?

I can't drag and drop files in the trash, error code-43 is detected, what should I do? What is an error code - 43?

You can't empty the trash or move a file to the trash

If the above does not help, then see below:

Visit The FAQ XLab and read the FAQ on the waste problems. You can also try using Trash it! 5.1 to solve the problem. Or you can try this:

Open the Terminal in the Utilities folder, and paste the following at the command prompt:

    sudo rm - Rf ~ /. Trash

Press RETURN. Enter your administrator password when prompted. It will not echo to screen. Press RETURN again.

(Someone should tell you that it is dangerous or useless, please disregard the comment.)

  • Drag and drop files to the icon of the EXE

I was wondering if there is a way for the user to drag and drop files on the .exe icon and it would launch the program to do something with these files automatically?

For example: Some PDF convertor programs allow you to drag and drop documents, images, etc. directly on your desktop PDF Converter icon and it will automatically convert to PDF format, without the user even having to open the program.

This same kind of functionality is possible with a file EXE of Labview?

If you look at the Arguments of the command line of the Application class property, the first element must match the name of the EXE, the following elements will be the path or paths that were dropped on the icon of the EXE.

  • Drag-and-drop a request, just like in Windows

Hey, so basically I have an interface with applications (Vbox (Image + label)) on this subject.
The applications are added to a Gridpane, as you can see here:
    http://www.PIC-upload.de/view-18615855/1.PNG.html

Is what I want, that you can drag the autour apps and if you stop and do slip, they are in the nearest gridpane column + line. How can I do this? I have the logic to drag an autour App:
    http://www.PIC-upload.de/view-18615868/2.PNG.html

Now if you release the Rez, 4 apps will go to 'Gridpane' square they have been added to the.

So basically im lack logic for bringing them closer gridpane box where the app is. Someone has an idea?

Tahnks for the help. Have a nice weekend.
(Sorry for the German in my request, hope it's not too complicated.)

You will need a few "filler" nodes in the GridPane in all the places you want to drop, otherwise the grid do extend to these places at all. Something like a part empty would work.

I would record managers of the mouse with the applications ("charges"), rather than with the grid pane. If you use a full drag and drop solution, then the application that triggers the trail dropped event is the location in which the drop should occur. In JavaFX 8, you can set an image for the drag; before that, you will get only a default image of 'slide the document' under the mouse. That works, but obviously doesn't look quite like the tablecloth.
