Impossible to get a restore date that gets me to where I need to be

Had problems with updates (error 80070490) so I put windows any time upgrade disk in and now seem to have lost everything on my computer! When I try to do the restore or recovery it only gives me yesterdays date and keeps me where everything is lost! Advice appreciated!

Hello

1. partitions of hard drive how do you have on the hard drive before you perform the upgrade installation?
2. don't start installation upgrade from the operating system or by booting with the upgrade DVD?

It doesn't matter which upgrade DVD you used to perform an installation upgrade, restore points will be deleted again during installation.

Everything is removed from the computer, the possibilities are:

Option 1: If you had run the upgrade from the operating system installation, and if you haven't had that one partition of hard drive, then you should see Windows.old folder in the root of the drive where everything will be saved.

Option 2: If you started the upgrade using the DVD upgrade installation, then either you could have backed up the old content (it is saved to the Windows.old folder in the root of the drive where Windows is installed), or you chose a custom installation (this will eliminate all present on the drive where you performed the installation and load a new copy of Windows)

  • My first system restore date is July 30, 2009, and I need a date of previous restoration to eliminate a virus! Help, please!

    I discovered a terrible virus named muwiropu.dll that I tried to get rid of weeks using a variety of anti-virus programs, nothing helps. It was 'created' July 6, 2009 according to its properties. At this point, I thought I should choose a "restore point" before this date - but the first 'date of the restoration', I see it as an option on my computer is on July 30, 2009. I tried to 'free' space to see if it could remedy the situation, but not drive. Other ideas to find somehow an earlier date to restore or to get rid of this virus? Basically, what I run, especially all the programs at startup, give me this error message (sometimes 25 times in a row): "the application or DLL"C:\Windows\system32\muwiropu.dll is not a valid Windows image. " Please check this against your installation diskette. "I don't know what to do to do this, go away!

    I read the messages on how to choose a date of system restore, but not how to find dates earlier than that displayed automatically.

    Reset the zoom of page on pages that are causing problems.

    • View > Zoom > reset (Ctrl + 0 (zero); 0 + Command on Mac)

    Zoom of a page can occur if the Ctrl key is held down (or Firefox thinks it is) and you use the mouse scroll wheel.

    You can set the pref mousewheel.withcontrol.action (Mac mousewheel.with_meta.action) 1 on the topic: page config to avoid zoom if you press the Ctrl/command key.

  • frame restoration date windows visited

    I can't set a restore date that precedes the current date. There is no option to reset the date. It automatically selects the current date.
    Is there a way to get around this?

    Hello

    You can only create a restore system to today Date to use at a later date.

    You cannot create a restore of the system today date for there are two wekks. This date of two weeks ago is already spent.

    The Restore Point is already created two weeks ago, either there is no.

    If you mean something else in your question, please after return.

  • How to get data that are created the or before the last Wednesday

    Hi, can someone please tell me how to write a query to retrieve the data that are created the or before last Wednesday.

    Thanks in advance...

    Hello

    Here's one way:

    WHERE created_date< next_day="" (="" trunc="" (sysdate="" )="" -="">

    , "THURSDAY".

    )

    "Before Thursday' means the same as 'the or before Wednesday '.

    This assumes that NLS_DATE_LANGUAGE is English.  If you are not sure what is NLS_DATE_LANGUAGE, you can do this:

    WHERE created_date< next_day="" (="" trunc="" (sysdate="" )="" -="">

    , TO_CHAR (DATE ' 2014-03-06' - or any Thursday)

    , 'DAY '.

    )

    )

    There is nothing magical about March 6, 2014; will do any Thursday.  To_char will return the translation of 'Thursday' in all that is the current NLS_DATE_LANGIUAGE, and NEXT_DAY can use this value.

    Hello

    You will be able to perform a system restore to a restore point created or present on the system. If you have no restore point created before the questions, then you will not be able to restore it.

    Hey 'Vista' - leeChallenged

    the only system restore point that you create is for today
    You cannot create a restore point for yesterday etc.
    they are either made or they are not made
    go back two or theee weeks to system restore to before he was hit if the dates of restoration are available

    read the information in the link to a very good display of how return more than 5 days in the System Restore Points by checking the box below.

  • Impossible to get a sufficient number of samples per second

    Hi I worked on a big project for a few months now. The program will read 16 analog inputs and 7 digital inputs of a cRIO-9012 one. TPC-2512 touchscreen will serve as an interface with the cRIO. As soon as the program starts, it records 1 taste a second of each input and each in a separate table. When a user specified threshold is crossed by one of the entries, it takes the previous table and adds each a different picture. Now I need to collect at least 100 samples/s but I get only about 30. The program became large enough, and the processor on the touch screen cannot manage to gather all these data that fast. I'm trying to make the program more effective in running things only when they are needed but this is not enough. I was wondering if I took all the separate tables and 1 table 2D did it all would be faster.

    Hello

    Driver software is provided for free.

    You tell us how you get this message on the drivers.

    Updates of Windows was designed for performance issues and updated and of security Windows Update Microsoft hardware drivers, not 3rd party hardware.

    Microsoft normally does not have the latest drivers available as Microsoft relies of the 3rd party hardware/computer Manufactuers to provide.

    You must get your software driver from your computer or hardware manufacturer, not through Windows Update.

    Access the site on your computer or equipment manufacturing > Driver and Software Support Section > search your computer or hardware model number > then your operating system > locate the correct drivers > download and install.
