  I exported 2267 images from Aperture to an external drive in an original format with original file names. I tried to import them into LR3.6 and she won't recognize about 1800 of them.  Files are made up of RAW and Jpg files and maybe a few Tiffs. RAW files are a Canon 10 d, Nikon D60 and a Nikon D3s... from what I can tell, it does not categorically exclude one of them.  I use an iMac 27 quad-core "."  When I imported the files into another Aperture library on a different computer, he acknowledged all the files. I use LR for most of my stuff and the opening of the "family album."

  I can't understand why LR won't see/import all files.

  You have the preference to treat JPEG files next to raws as separate files audited?  If you do not, they will not be imported.

  I would now like to modify this script to apply only to one side of a series of two pages using the master page even spread. In other words, let's say I have 300 pages face to face using A template. I would like to import 150 pages in the odd-numbered (right side) pages of the spread (1.doc page is imported into page 1, page2.doc is imported to page 3, 3.doc page is imported on page 5, etc.).

  Yes my brother, I was supervising the "page number" thingy was reused in the script from John to select a numbered Word file.

  Quick-and-Ever-So-slightly-Dirty: re - use the meter of the loop (page) but halve! (... and add 1 because the loops run from zero upward).

  I prefer to use the > operator here, rather than division, because Javascript is scrupulous about its divisions, an odd number like "3" by dividing by 2 will result in 1.5. Logic, but villain.   You can try to open this file bookmarks.html in Firefox via file > open a file to see if it has content.

  Anyone happen to know how to delete all guides in a document? I am aware that I can use Ctrl + Alt + G and then press DELETE to remove the guides on a single page or spread, but in the whole document open (all pages at once)? I did research some and located the following script:

  The same as that found like you. Works for me in CS5 Mac. Removes all the guides, including master pages. Just change one of the exisitng javascripts and do a save as to a new name.jsx.

My default catalog (so far I use only) contains pictures of appx.33k and I can't import to new shots. Yesterday I was shooting tethered camera and everything went well. Today, I wanted to import new files (from disk) and noticed that 'import button' is totally inactive. Dead. I have implemented a new catalog and managed to process the photos today, but when I switch to the previous catalogue the 'import' button is always dead.

  If the problem is resolved in Mode safe then I think you're right that one of your modules is probably causing the problem.

  Standard Firefox mode (not safe mode) go to your modules and disable all the. Then test. The problem appear?

  I use Win 7 64 and recently all my files have begun to show read-only. Other responses on this forum, which suggests to change the read-only via the Properties dialog box, attrib command did not work. In addition, I created a new administrator account as suggested by another answer, but the problem persists on both accounts.

  You can export meta_data first and then export the tables you want to get data.

• I had to do a destructive recovery. Try to reinstall the bookmarks but the 8.0 new OS I installed does not ORGANIZE the FAVORITES so I can't import the. JSON file.

JSON file stored in a hard disk external. Every website I've seen so far says to go to favorite bookmarks / organise and import from there, but there is NO organize bookmarks that I found in 8.0 so I have no idea how to do to import this file to install my old favorites.

  Organize bookmarks was renamed to display all bookmarks in the version of Firefox 4.0.
