Impossible to import my camera card jpg files directly into lightroom error 51

Use to be able to run Lightroom when I loaded my camera in the player card, now I see photos in lightroom, but when I select Import I get a box with that: import results indicating the following files were not imported because they could not be read. (51) and then it will list all the jpg I want imported into LIghtroom. In this error message, I have a choice to save a txt file which seems strange. What is going on. Not sure if this started when I updated to windows 10, but I use LIghtroom 3 with windows 10.

Currently, the workaround is to create a folder on the desktop and then have open lightroom this folder and it works.

Hello

Could please check when you import images into Lightroom, the destination on the right is selected as the folder of Photos.

Please try and see if you are able to import the images from the card.

Please let us know if it helps.

Kind regards

Tanuj Sandal

You can download photos from Flickr on your hard disk, and then import those in LR (a two-step process).

If you want to then maintain the relationship between these photos in your catalog and photos on Flickr, you can use this third-party Flickr plugin. It is a little more complex to implement than the Flickr edition built-in service for LR, but she is more capable and more reliable.

  • Frame7.1 will not import Photoshop CS5.1 .jpg file

I'm (reluctantly) in the migration process from Windows XP +.

Photoshop CS V8.0 for Windows 7/64 bit + Photoshop CS5.1.

FrameMaker 7.1 works well on XP and W7/64, including the generation

PDF file. I can import .jpg files written by Photoshop CS. etc.

    ... except...

If I open a (already imported) .jpg file checked using Photoshop

CS5.1 and, without making any changes, save it, Framemaker may not

more import it, either directly or by reference:

"The filter has encountered an error and could not complete the.

    translation. "

It seems that the Photoshop CS5.1 writes a file format different .jpg

Photoshop CS (rhetoric: How can it be acceptable for CS5.1 to)

change the format of a Basic .jpg file? but I digress...).

Review the .jpg file original vs the .jpg file of CS5 I think:

-The new file is smaller (79KB vs 82KO) - Note the two are small!

-Content (reviewed by using a binary editor) is quite different.

-Two versions of the same view, in CS and CS5.1 and in

    many viewers.

I tried various experiments, try to understand this and have

had no luck. I can open the CS5 Photoshop CS .jpg file and save it

Once again but Framemaker will not open this version or the other, same error.

This isn't a question of size of RAM (8GB), to space swap or something else

associated with computer equipment. All SW updates are up-to-date, etc..

I have tried to import into a new, by default the template file, etc.

So, I tried recording in .bmp format and the first time I tried to import it

FrameMaker died immediately: no trace of the stack, no error message, the

Framework process had just disappeared. After the reboot, the 2nd attempt, I got one

black rectangle size correct, but all black = not usable.

Photoshop CS + Framemaker has worked well for several years, so I don't know

It is a question of CS5.

Anyone has any ideas on how to make CS5.1 to generate a file .jpg 'standard '.

    file?

Anyone has any ideas on how to import images CS5.1 using

    FrameMaker 7.1?

Please don't advocate the Framemaker to V10 upgrade... Adobe provides a zero

information on migration (from any version) and the last time that we did

This cost us several months of work to 'fix' 14 + 50 pages +.

manuals. We'll stay with XP/CS and 'eat' the new W7/CS5 system

    before FM10.

I'm embarrassed... I should have tried more of .jpg and .bmp.

I went to .tif and select .jpg compression and

  • Is it possible to import image files directly into an open document?

Is it possible to import a series of image files, say jpegs, directly in an open document, rather than having to open all image files with drag-and - move each individual in the open document? Specifically, I'm a dentist and I often get sent to me by other offices digital x-ray images. But they come as 16 or 18 separate image files and I need to put them in a virtual "chest x-ray: mount", so I can see them all at once, rather than having to open all images and alternate between them. So I opened a blank document in PS (CS4), then I navigate to the folder that contains all the image files that I received, select all and open them all. In PS, I can now click on each tab of the image and drag the image into the void "montage" and close the image. This new image would then become its own layer in the document 'mount '. But I must repeat this 18 times for each patient. I thought that if there was a way to open the new document "mount" and then select all of the image files and 'import' somehow all image directly in the document - essentially "automate" - which would save me time and aggravation cargo! Anyone out there have any suggestions? Thank you very much!! Dr G.

Yes, but after you have all your images as layers in a new document, that you can simply select all the layers of-> and then drag them to your document in one fell swoop.

  • How to load the properties in the csv file directly into a .dll parameter in a test step

    Hello

I would like to take a property file values and plug them directly into the parameter used to invoke dll calls.

I looked at the examples on how to use the shipper of the property at the entrance of limit values, but I can't understand how the hose in the params.

    I tried. . Module.

    Step.propertieslist [0].

    Any ideas?

    Thank you

    m

I agree it would be nice.  However, the difference between the parameters and limits is that parameters are defined dynamically.  What I mean by that is that you never know how many parameters a step will be until you describe the module. Whereas the limits are always set in stone.  The only difference is the boundary of MultiNumeric Test which is just an array that get joint too with the same data type.  And access only to a value of parameters via the API unless it is a variable.

The other hard part is that you don't know the data type of the parameters.  Any stage can have a number any of parameters as well as any data type passed to each individual setting.

I think that if you are set on creating DO NOT Locals or FileGlobals while you need create custom types step with subproperties that are assigned to the parameters.  This could be even more painful but because now you have to maintain and support custom step types.

The other option would be to create your own loader of property that could be called and put things in the API.  HMMM now, it would be an interesting project...

  • How to import photos from Mac OS x photo into Lightroom

    Hello Mr President

  • Import the camera directly into Lightroom via USB

I looked around this forum but could not find an answer to what I thought was a simple question.

Using the Mavericks 10.9.5 and Lightroom 5.6

I am trying to improve my workflow.

I currently take two steps to get my photos in Lightroom:

    1. connect the camera via USB for Mac and Nikon Transfer allows you to import photos from my camera in a default folder on my Mac, I also put it to remove photos from my camera once completed.

    2. open Lightroom and import photos to the catalog, including moving them to the desired specific final destination folder.

I know I could use a card reader but don't want to go down that road because it's a pain out the mem card and its replacement.

Is it possible to reduce this to a single step using Lightroom.

I tried implementing of Image Capture on my Mac to make Lightroom automatically open when a camera is connected, but the option is grayed out, which seems strange.

If I have lightroom open, and then select the camera as source only get the option copy files not move them to a folder of destination of the machine photo so can't erase the memory of the device.

I can't be the only person who wants to do this someone has a solution.

After playing around a bit I have answered my own question.

I discovered that Nikon Transfer has an option to automatically open another application, so affecting that Lightroom, I realized what I wanted.

  • Why my Photoshop removed the Raw file directly from Lightroom instead of asking me if I want to edit a copy?

I used to get a pop up every time I tried to retouch a photo in PS asking if I wanted to do it on a copy with Lightroom adjustments and he created me a TIFF file, but now it takes just the RAW file. How can I get it back?

I use the terrible PS CC 2015 and LR CC2015

    Hi Manolo,

If you right click on the Jpeg Image in Lightroom and don't edit it in Photoshop, which gives you this opportunity.

If you reference the above option in the screenshot, you receive only when edit you a Raw image from Lightroom to Photoshop format.

Any ideas on what could be the problem?

    Hi OrionsGlow,

It seems that it is access read and write on the folder you need to do.

Try to change the Destination folder, or give read and write access to the folder selected in the destination from the Finder Panel.

  • Impossible to import into itunes

Used for 5 + years and never had a problem itunes import any CD until the last update of Windows 10.

Have 3 CD purchased recently (even if not new versions) and all I get is imported CDA files, cannot convert MP3, wav, anything. Have searched the net and followed all the advice without success. Understand the file CDA format and what it is and means, but am at a loss to know what to do next without purchasing dedicated files converter software.

Seems too much of a coincidence for me that after all these years / itunes update etc and more than 600 CD converted without problem, why now...? Windows 10 12 months upgrading?

    Anyone else?

    Hi leadwelllaw,

I understand that you have a few problems getting the right format for your imported songs from a CD into iTunes. I know it's important to have songs that are easy to read on your devices, so I am pleased to provide you with information to help with this.

To start, you may want to change your import settings provide a correct format from the beginning:

12 iTunes for Windows: choose Import settings

You can also check some troubleshooting we have to import CD here:

12 iTunes for Windows: import songs from CD

If you have trouble importing songs to an audio CD

If iTunes does not recognize audio CD or if you have problems to import songs, check the following:

    • If iTunes does not recognize audio CD (it does not appear in the iTunes window) or in a window does not appear when you insert a CD, quit iTunes, then open again by double-clicking the application icon in the iTunes folder in the Program Files folder on your hard drive. Do not open iTunes by using the shortcut on your desktop. If iTunes now recognizes the CD, delete the shortcut to iTunes and create a new.

    • If error correction is enabled, it may take more time to import the CD. Choose Edit > Preferences, and then click Import settings. If the checkbox "Use error correction when reading Audio CDs" is not selected, select it. If it is already selected, clear it.

    • If you have trouble importing songs, make sure that you search your computer or drive manufacturer for firmware updates site and install those that are suitable for your computer and your CD-ROM or DVD drive.

    • Make sure you have the latest software updates for Windows or your CD-ROM or DVD drive. Visit the Web site of Windows and your computer or drive manufacturer for Updates site. Also, make sure that you have the latest drivers for your sound cards and video.

    • If you have more than one CD or DVD drive, try using iTunes with each drive.

    • To see if iTunes can find problems with your CD, choose Help > run the diagnostic CD and choose Diagnostics of DVDs/CDs. To help understand the results of diagnosis and another CD troubleshooting information, see additional tips for troubleshooting questions burning on the Apple's Support website.

    • If it takes a long time to import a song (more than 10 minutes) from an audio CD, the CD may be dirty or scratched. Try to clean the CD with a soft, lint cloth and then re-import the songs.

If you still hurt to import songs, visit the Support Web to iTunes site.

As a last resort, you can also convert audio files directly into iTunes:

Convert a song to a different file with iTunes - Apple Support format

Thank you for using communities of Apple Support, cheers!

  • Artifacts when you import DJI Phantom 4 images directly in Lightroom

Hello. I had a Phantom 4 for several months, but only started to have problems with its integration in Lightroom in these last days. If I import photos directly from the micro SD card in Lightroom, many of them have digital artifacts in the form of scratches on the image:

    20161002-DJI_0116_1600.jpg

If I click with the right button on the image in Lightroom and select "Show in Finder" image in the finder was also the artifacts on it. The same thing happens if I try to import files directly into Photoshop.

BUT, if I copy the files on my hard drive and then watch them in Photoshop (or same iPhoto) they seem very well:

    DJI_0116_1600.jpg

This leads me to believe that the problem is when the Adobe software is to import the images. I corresponded with technical support of DJI and sent them to the original file, and they confirmed that the file is very well, and they have suggested that the issue is somewhere on the end of Adobe. Everyone knows, or have any suggestions for me?  Thank you.

P.S. I am under Lightroom and Photoshop 2015.5.1 2015.7, and my Phantom firmware is up-to-date.

It's the file corruption caused by a defective piece of hardware. The fact that other viewers show the picture correctly is because these other programs look at the preview JPG that is embedded in the file and is often not corrupt.

You must determine what piece of hardware is the culprit by using other materials import and import using a completely different (if possible) computer. The problem could be the camera card or USB cable, hard drives, computer memory card reader.
