Impossible to install new BIOS A09 for Dell place Pro 7130

Validated that I use the correct Bios... :-)

Scenarios:

Downloaded the new Bios and run, install rises and tells me it will be need for power, etc. and install works. Reboot the machine it always is on A06

Since the Bios flash tool and installation runs very quickly and send back me to Windows 8 and is stil on A06

What should do?

Question side: is there something speciel set in the bios on the boot. Since I reset the default Bios (A06) I been bugged with problems of departure?

I can verify that the solution posted by Stone3t worked for me (unplug the battery CMOS).  Too bad, that it requires disassembly of the rear housing which may be too advanced for the average user.

I had all the symptoms / problems described by posts all on sites of Dell, as well as other: unable to update BIOS, unit will not sleep, etc. Corrupt ME was key. (Intel Management Engine Firmware)  Stupid thing is: he has been altered through updates of Dell.

Calling the depot repair, or any other Dell support (and 5 + times transferred, pending on hold for hours) has been completely useless as they refused to help because my camera was "out of warranty" Although some had mentioned there was a recall on this issue.

I am now updated to A15 and through all windows updates and everything seems to be working again.  No, thanks to the support of Dell who refuse to share the answer.

I not buy all Dell Mobile devices in the near future.

  • Meeting place for Dell 11 Pro 7130 power button / stop does not work

I just bought this camera and can not get the power button to turn on the screen and off as suggested by the manual should be possible.  If I press and hold the power button then it made a stop hard and if I held down when turned off it will vibrate for a second and then turn on, but a short press does nothing when Windows is running.

Tried short diagnostics and no problems found. Updated the BIOS to the A13, the drivers updated to the latest versions of all available installers, updated firmware screen scanner and camera. I saw a post from early 2014 with the same question where someone suggested to put it off to quick start, but that has not changed anything either. All Windows updates have been applied.

How can I get the power button to work?

If after trying a few things more that I decided to give at the moment and made a sweet sleep on the desktop shortcut, so I had a quick way to get at least the screen turns off. The command to execute is: rundll32.exe powrprof.dll, SetSuspendState 0,1,0

This seems to be more than Hibernate because it should boot from the bios whenever it turns on (although the arguments given him say no to the hibernation), but it was better than nothing.

I tested it worked a few times then rebooted the system. When I did this he decided to install updates which he said yet that all were waiting. When he started upward the power button now works.  I don't know what has changed or if the execution of the order makes a difference, but at least it works now.

  • Tablet keyboard for Dell place Pro 11 already dead...

Not sure if it of just a bad keyboard or not, but my keyboard Tablet (not that thin) does not at all.  I tried to restart the computer, disconnect and reconnect the keyboard.  I get no response at all.  Anyone else have this problem or know what's happening?

So I got a support decision-making and they got running again. I thought for sure that my keyboard has gone wrong. Fortunately, I was wrong.  I have not had problems since. Basically they updated the touch panel drivers, drivers of the chipset and bios. After a few reboots everything worked like a charm.  You can find these drivers on the dell support page. • I5 vPro Dell place Pro 7130 4300Y 8/256 Windows only runs on AC

Hello, I updated the firmware on my place from 11 to a13 and I just noticed that when I unplug it from the socket that it freezes, I've usually run it on the dock while I didn't notice earlier.

When it freezes, the only thing I can do is to press the power button and the screen turns off. If I wait a few seconds and press the power button again the system vibrates and then I can get in the log on screen (it does not ask the bios password so he has not been properly asleep), then I can use it for about 30 seconds before it freezes again (logged in or not). If I plug the sector while the screen is blank, the system works as expected, until I have unplug the unit again.

Here's a trick that worked for me that I posted a few weeks after doing the same exact troubleshooting: http://en.community.dell.com/support-forums/mobile-devices/f/4586/t/19600092

  • Room Dell place Pro 8 USB mic?

I have a Dell place Pro 8 with a broken micro-USB port.  The tablet belongs to my daughter to years of high school.  I think she may have plugged in upside down too many times.

Dell wants $269 to repair (Exchange motherboard).

Anyone know or knows where to find the part number for the Micro USB connector that mounts to the motherboard?  I am sure that Newark or Digi-key sells an equivalent and I would try to replace me.

I have the same problem and this is a problem since the day I received the tablet.  I love the Tablet apart from that.  Now after 1 year use, pin micro usb port is broken and I'm stuck with a useless tablet.

Actually, you're not: there are repair services via eBay that will replace the port (and even one of the services will use a port that is clearly only 1 lane).  A single service: MYdeviceRepair, $29.95 including return shipping:

  • Impossible to install OS on SSD for QE dv7t-7000

The difficulty to install the operating system for my brand-spanking-new QE dv7t-7000 on a 120 GB Kingston SSD (V + model, I can provide details but don't know offhand)

Operating system is WIndows 7 Pro

    Base processor QE

Try to install recovery disks. I feed all four discs, a lot of progress through the test bars. Lots or that it recharges. Looks like it's done nearly completely when the installation process falls down. Looking at the newspaper said something like:

'2nd ch...' and 'Error detected... RM error bonnefin'

"[DeployRE] Impossible to return c:\rm\rp\sources\boot.wim to d:\Recovery\WindowsRE\WinRE.wim.

    "[DeployRE]. Could not find \bootmgr

"[DeployRE] Impossible to move Deskttop.inr to d:\". »

    "[DeployRE] annot move Typelist.tst d:\". »

or something to that effect. I've got 2 MB of files which describe all this, if you are really interested.

I ran gparted live on the thing and it seems that the installation process put a 300 MB partition and a 92 GB NTFS partition and some quite small partitions (do not remember) and left almost 20 GB unallocated. Strange.

I suspect one of the following conditions is true:

    (1) curiously, 120 GB is too small to build a c:\ drive base for a newish computer. Especially when you talk about all the bloatware included in a recovery disk HP base install.

    (2) HP and Intel have found a way to prevent people from using SSDS on newer computers. Maybe they did things in the BIOS. They want to analyze the benefits brought by the SSD in incremental blocks and sprinkle them to the top of the line. Note that HP includes only the SSD in their more expensive laptops.

    (3) pilot error

    (4) the SSD is broken

    Any suggestions are welcome.

    Hello

Before you try the following, make sure that you can always read the character product activation key 25 on your label Windows COA (5 blocks of 5 alphanumeric games).

Assuming that it's just a problem with the recovery process, there is a work before right around.

You can create an installation of the retail disc yourself using another PC-just download the good Disk Image from the link below ( this must be the exact version provided with your laptop) and use an app like ImgBurn to burn the ISO correctly on a blank DVD - a guide on the use of ImgBurn to write an ISO on a disc is here.  These Images are clean and a well respected source, however there are only limited versions available.

    Windows 7 sp1-iso-official-32-bit-and-64-bit

Use the disk to perform the installation, enter the activation key of Windows on the label of the COA at the request and once the installation is complete, use ' 'phone Method' described in detail in the link below to activate the operating system -this made method supported by Microsoft and is popular with people who want to just have a new installation of Windows 7 without additional software load normally comes with OEM installations.

    http://www.kodyaz.com/articles/how-to-activate-Windows-7-by-phone.aspx

Additional drivers, you may need can be found here.

    Kind regards

  • Impossible to install the latest driver for Intel 82852/82855 GM/GME (SP A40)

I know that this topic is explained before by NickyNoogle and Juan28, however I need more help.
I can't install the latest driver for the graphics controller Intel 82852/82855 GM/GME (Toshiba A40 Satellite Pro). I downloaded the driver from the Intel Web site, but it has not installed and there is an error message "unable to install on this computer, please contact with the producer. I need to update the driver of 6.13.10.3514 version of lates version (6.14.10.4421). I know that I have to use the Toshiba drivers only. Could you be so kind and stick it to the post any link of this driver to download? I can't seem to find it on the Toshiba site anywhere.

    Hello

You can not install it because of the material. AFAIK designed Toshiba drivers are slightly modified to be limited and protect the graphics card. Driver Intel can get the map on the maximum limit and destroy it. This is the reason why you can not install it.

Sorry but there is nothing to do. Try to check if a new Toshiba unit has the same graphics card and latest driver on Toshiba download page. Date of arrival:
    Sat Pro L10
    Satellite L10
    Satellite A50 and A80 (6.14.10.3943)

    Good bye

  • Satellite M65: New Bios Update for Vista?

I have a satellite M65 and the problem is that the current bios is not 100% compatible with windows vista. Indeed, vista has not detected my card (nvidia gforce go 6600) video as well.
Now, his work as a vga adapter.
The question is based on 100% of the incompatibility of the bios, any idea when toshiba will come out a new bios for this machine?

    Kind regards.

    Hello Federico

Problem is that no one knows exactly what laptop models will be supported for Vista. I put t know how it works for the laptop models to the United States, but only what you can do is to check the http://www.csd.toshiba.com/cgi-bin/tais/su/su_sc_home.jsp from time to time.

This link is for the Toshiba U.S. support page.

    Hello

where did you downloaded the driver? On the toshiba Web site? Maybe you should try the driver from realtek home page because they are native and absolutely clear things from other manufacturers. I think you should try "www.realtek.com" and install the driver downloaded from there, once you have uninstalled the driver for your machine.

    Welcome them

  • Impossible to install the graphics driver for Probook s 4530 without blue screen or the repair mode

Recently due to the failure of the hard drive, I replace my drive with an SSD Intel 520 180 GB. I tried to install from a DVD MSDN windows 7 Enterprise 64-bit. Everything was going fine until I had to install the drivers. All of them have been installed OK, but not for the graphics. A useful user Paul_Tikkanen guided my via different drivers and tricks, but with the same sad result. Not his fault, of course. On recommendationen of Paul, I ordered support restore disks for HP businesses. I got them today and of course happy as a kid receives his candy Saturday I put disks in the dvd player for the installation. Same thing happened again. Graphics driver has not worked here either. He me gives either a blue screen on reboot or I am se repair to restart mode.

I tried to find auto driver from Intel, but IE crashes when you try. I also tried the generic Intel driver. If someone has an idea or can extract drivers work this would be much appreciated.  The generic Microsoft driver works well but I get a maximum of 1024 * 768 resolution.

I also read that you need to install the chipset driver and intel

You can see my entries a little frustrated in the following thread: http://h30434.www3.hp.com/t5/Notebook-Display-and-Video-e-g-Windows-8/4530S-graphics-driver-and-fing...

The thread above also contain useful material IDS etc.

I have also contacted the provider here in Sweden, to check if the warranty has expired yet. The laptop is 1.5 years old.

This problem has been resolved by manually installing the HP Intel HD graphics driver.

    Hello

    Two things to consider.

    (1) update the BIOS is not recommended unless you are willing to take the risk of "bricking" your laptop.

If everything works well, why bother to update? (Murphy's law applies here)

    (2) Yes it will work, but see #1

    Kind regards

  • Microsoft Office for Dell place 8 Android Tablet?

I am looking to buy an Android Tablet and am interested in the Tablet 32 GB from Dell place 8. My only problem is, I can't find if it comes with Microsoft Office? If this is not the case, can be installed. If this isn't the case, nobody knows any Android tablets that can be used with Microsoft Offices. Android is a must if. Thank you!

Office for Android is available for devices with Arm chips at this time.  All Dell place tablets running on Intel hardware. An Intel version is supposed to be in the pipeline.
