  Go to /Library/Application Support/Adobe/AAMUpdaterInventory/1.0 and rename it to old 1.0

  Go to Library/Application Support/Adobe/AAMUpater/1.0 and rename this folder too.

  I think that the camera records for XDCAM EX (which is MPEG-2). Usually, XDCAM EX is contained in a file MP4 and CS3 (version 3.2.0) and up have support for this. However, the MOV wrapper is not supported with this codec, probably even if the codec and format is. Check out this post and the next for additional information and a solution.
