• Toolbar in Dreamweaver suddenly disappeared and I can't open the files with Dreamweaver

  I use Dreamweaver CS5. I use it almost everyday and have for several years.

  Suddenly, when I opened Dreamweaver, the elements of the toolbar (file, Windows tools) are not displayed, and when I try to open a file using Dreamweaver from the Finder, nothing past is. The application seems to open but nothing does not appear or work.

  A few days ago I had to restore everything from Time Machine after a hardware solution from Apple. Dreamweaver has worked well for a few hours, and then it happened...

  I've always been able to edit every other time that I open the file (since I built the site over two years ago).

  Now, whenever I try to edit it in Design view, no matter where I click in the file of the whole page gets a dark gray overlay and I can't get a cursor.

  I'm still able to modify the code directly, but I will not be restricted.

  The last thing I did last time I opened the file paste the Google Analytics code just before the < / head > tag. I did it to all the files on the site, but it's the only one that does not. I tried to get out of this code, but it makes no difference.

  I use a 6 month old Macbook pro.

  Try right-clicking on the page in Design view, and then selecting view item > full and see if that helps.

  Hello

  After today update Windows I can't open html files in my browser (SeaMonkey) by double-clicking on it in Windows Explorer. Nothing happens when I double click on it. .html extension is always associated with SeaMonkey.

  Is there some security settings changed?

  By the way: Windows Update should never restart Windows without asking. This is really a no go! I changed the settings to update manually now installation and the hope that restart without asking will not happen.

• Opening Help file blocks Dreamweaver 8.0.1

  Whenever I try to open the files using Dreamweaver, it stops the program. I get the box error "Dreamweaver 8 has encountered a problem and needs to close." I uninstalled DW8 and reinstalled from the disk, and still, it crashes when I try to open the help file.
  
  I know that the help file is there, because I can navigate to the help folder and open the file to help in this way, but I can't just open the help file in Dreamweaver using the drop down menus.

  Trying to open an html file firefox guard opens the dialog box open the file in a new tab. I ran malware byte without success.

  It is usually best if you use Photoshop for images only.  The html code generated by graphics applications is too quick to use on the web.

  In DW, insert the animated gif in your HTML page with the Insert panel.

  Help!

  I have saved a file in Paint.net, apparently with a name not and now the file opens.  I saved the file under the name "Lattice2.1" Paint.net doesn't say not something was wrong and showed the file is "recent decisions" list.  But when I go to open it, it says "the image type is not recognized and cannot be opened.  When I view the file in Windows Explorer, it shows Type: file.  When I right click on it, it does not offer the option to open with any application.  I changed the name, but that did not help.

  Can I get it back?

  Try to change the name to lattice2.bmp and then see if that allows you to open the file with paint.  I'm fairly certain that this is the type of default file for this program.

  Have you tried to open the files with the Nikon software? Who will corrupt files, so they will not open in PS.

  Hi all! I have a 2008 iMac, which I use for a long time. I just bought a new iMac in 2013. I use Illustrator CS6 (via the cloud). I work for a company that has me download the svg files. I opened normally those using Illustrator (I use the same version of Illustrator on both computers). When I used to open svg files, I get a message that says: "the document uses fonts or characters that are not available or are in a different format than that originally specified." Below it says, "Sans-serf: an unknown problem occurred." But then I click 'OK' and it opens fine.

  On my new iMac, when I double click on the same svg file, I get the message "the operation cannot complete because of an unknown error. [IMPORTANT].

  So... What can I do? It doesn't give me any options at all!

  17.1 update is released today for Illustrator CC, this problem is solved.

  I validated the files provided by davidcorrelldesign and they now open.

  Please update to 17.1 and see if the problem is reproducible.

• Impossible to separate HTML files in FrameMaker

  I am doing with the separate FrameMaker 9 documents in RoboHelp 10 HTML files.

  In the Conversion settings, I put subject Split using markers to make the HTML using H1 files. It does not work and creates one file per chapter of FrameMaker.

  I'm new to Robohelp 10. Is there a setting I'm missing?

  There is the forum for this kind of thing called integration Framemaker (http://forums.adobe.com/community/robohelp/robohelp_framemaker). You probably want to use the Pagination set, not the marker to split your content of FM. Select the paragraph H1 tag and then choose "Paging" - that will split the content of the FM. The other method is based on the use of markers of FM and their text to control some aspects of the subjects HR resulting.

• Impossible to open PNG files in Photoshop CS5...?

  I see a lot of threads with this problem, but none of them seem to have an answer.

  For some reason any right now when I try to open a PNG file in Photoshop it goes right down.  I find myself with an endless "hour glass".

  I had all my directories project website on a network share.  As I no longer sharing all these files with an office of people I decided to move all these files to my own local computer project.  Since I did I can't open PNG files in Photoshop.

  Any information on what might have caused this, or more importantly, how to fix this would be greatly appreciated.  Thank you!

  You can open any other file type?  Or are all opened files causing a freeze?

  If the latter, you can try changing your printer to a local device (instead of on the network).

  It could also be that you're clock looking for recently used files on the network (which is really a problem with the network driver code).  Disconnection of the server network can help.

  I've never used Dreamweaver and I don't use it at the moment, but after installing Xampp on my PC, the php files will open in Dreamweaver. The pages are empty then even can not be changed.  Is there a way I can stop these files open in Dreamweaver?

  Dreamweaver cannot open files if it is not installed.  Be sure to check the Applications folder on a Mac or Windows programs.  You can also run the Adobe Clean Script to remove all the remains of Adobe programs on your computer.

  You can also right-click on a file in Windows or on Mac and choose the associated program and change all the files.  By default, these files will be opened in a text editor, unless an HTML editor is around.
