  This is not a BIOS problem
  You said that external keyboard work correctly, this means that keyboard controller and BIOS is OK, but in your case the internal keyboard started to malfunction
  This means that the internal keyboard needs to be replaced

  By the way: you can not Flash the BIOS to NOT compatible version fact is that the update of the BIOS supports some sort of protection, and the update process wouldn't start using bad BIOS.

  I am a happy owner of the Satellite A200-1AG
  Happy that I'm going to say because I've upgraded from vista to xp and everything works good and pleasant.

  The only problem I have is a weird noise, alarm or something trying to report me something.

  Every day since I bought it, even with the original Vista operating system I hear a strange alarm twice per day, now randomly.
  It's a great long slope noise and low sound short.
  Like this: "peeeeeeeep bwep" lol seems stupid, but it's like that.
  the sound is very loud and annoying and comes from the inside of the laptop.

  In the shop where I bought it, they said I should update my drivers but I have already updated all of them and still the same problem.

  Sometimes it alarms 3times a day, sometimes it pause for 2-3 days and then comes back with the same situation.
  I reinstalled system several times, using third-party drivers, those of origin, Vista, XP pro, XP, XP EU and meh, no results.

  Please, if anyone knows what's going on I would be very happy to hear the solution how to turn it off, how to fix it.

  I put t know how you tested or what you did with your laptop but the Satellite A200 - 1AG PSAECE shipped with the nVIDIA GeFoce Go 7300 graphics card and it takes in charge an external with TurboCache video memory.

  Local cache is 64 MB and the TurboCache value depends on the memory key amount for example;
  64 MB turbo cache with 512 MB of RAM memory
  256 MB turbo cache with 1024 MB of RAM memory

  The total video memory is a sum of local cache and Turbo Cache.

  I think that you have checked the graphics card memory simply in the wrong way!

  I found the driver of the card reader for Vista 64-bit
  Usually the Vista driver should work on Win 7 OS too

  Of my knowledge the Dual Mode button is not available on all units A200.
  Only some A200 models are supported by this feature.
  To use the mode button double touchpad you have to press the button (on the touch pad) above the level of volume.

  It s equipped with BT module so after installing battery BT BT should work correctly, you need to activate using the FN + F8 keys.
