  I ASA5540 running IOS 8.04 - K8, users are able to the VPN connection over the internet but impossible to reconnect the VPN when users disconnected abnormally (abnormally means they are not manually disconnect, VPN disconnect everything manually without problem occur). ASA showing an active session of the disconnected user and the user having reason 433 at the re-login VPN.

  We have problems with our t410 AiO customers, where the CAPS, NUM and scroll stop lights on the keyboard do not work with view PCoIP desktop computers.

  I found the below information and a work around:
  If you use the Protocol PCoIP to display on a client system Ubuntu 10.04, the CAPS Lock, NUM Lock, and Scroll Lock lights on your keyboard do not work with desktop view. Although the lights do not work, the keys themselves work.
  Solution: Set the following configuration in a configuration file, such as/etc/vmware/config:
  mks.keyboard.useXkbSetNamedIndicator = 'TRUE '.

  The problem is this difficulty is already in place via the latest version of the HP, Z6A440, software that is installed within our Organization.

  What I discovered, is that the model that we initially bought for the test doesn't have this problem.  However, the models that we ordered since that time, DO have the problem and the solution above does not work as expected.

  The model originally ordered for test is still a customer of IOA t410... but there are 4 "under models' for customers of IOA t410... that we have to test is a H2W20AA, while those we receive and distribution are the H2W21AA model.

  No idea why, when connected to the desktop from view, that models of H2W21AA have this problem?

  H2W20AA is with Teradici PCoIP optimized, which can support PCoIP better, but H2W21AA is not with Teradici. That's the difference.

  However, the issue that you are experiencing does not matter in fact, we have not heard of this problem before. I would suggest that you do the following to see if there is no change:

  1. Go to download the latest VMware View 2.3.4 for t410, follow the instructions to install.
  2. If suggestion 1 does not work for you, try to connect to another VM group or set up a new machine virtual clean
  3. Call HP service center to save your problem for further investigation if the suggestion above did not work

  We are having problems with Windows 7 Ent worskstations (Windows XP works perfectly) connecct unable to drive network when the workstation is reduced (Wired), so the problem is like this.

  User dock and turn on the laptop - all network drives are connected.

  Undocking from the station and it will be by default wireless - all readers of work

  Disable wireless and the dock then drive House back (cable) not reconnects and it comes up with the error "an error has occurred during reconnection to Microsoft WIndows Network: the local device name is already in use.

  I was going through items MS and tried most of the suggestions, but nothing seems to work.

  Does anyone know the solution for this problem?... really appreciate if someone can help me here.

  This problem is due to one of the following reasons:

  a. following parameters net use / persistent: Yes to map network drives.

  b. computers is always mapped to an old server that had been removed from the network.

  To resolve this problem, please follow the steps below to change the settings.

  a. click the Start button, then select all programs.

  b. Select Accessories , then select Command Prompt (Admin).

  c. type NET USE ------------ / PERSIST: No. and then press ENTER.

  You can also use Group Policy to do.

  I removed decadent a virtual machine running in the inventory.

  The machine virtual is critical and cannot be stopped.

  When I try to browse the data store the option "add to the inventory" is grayed out.

  Alternatively, you can try to reboot the virtual machine in vCenter:

  1 vim - cmd vmsvc/getallvms

  2 vim - cmd vmsvc/reload xx
  (xx is the VMID provided by the first command)

  We ran a patch on one of our 4 ESX hosts. Host has been in a cluster and managed by vCenter 4. Not to day 1.

  Host of this morning seemed disconnected in VC. I saw him before after the updates and so I decided to disconnect and reconnect to the VC.

  Reconnection was not working. So I tried to 'delete' and reconnect. It still does not work. I kept getting "Request Timed Out" error.

  So I decided to take a look on the computer host and re - install manually VPX. I checked the version in the .xml on VC (vpx-upgrade-eesx-1-linux-162856) file, copied to the host and ran. / vpx-upgrade-eesx-1-linux-162856. He work and gave me the following:

  However, when running 'service vmware-vpxa restart', I get:

  VMware-vpxa: unrecognized service

  Seems odd by there is a missing file.

  Re-create it with this command:

  ln-s /etc/opt/init.d/vmware-vpxa /etc/init.d/vmware-vpxa

  I have a XP Pro SP3 with all the recommended updates installed as of 10/02/2011 that sporadically will lose connections to all shared folders on the domain controller Server 2003 SP2.  The actions will connect and be accessible on initial login/start, but after an indeterminate amount of time all drives mapped on the 2 k 3 server disconnects themselves.  Actions that are located on a Samba server are always accessible and only this one workstation is having issues.  I also made sure that there is no other disk, physical or mapped, which have the same letters assigned on this workstation.   Another thing I noticed is that it seems that to do so for a particular user who is an administrator.  All users of all types seem to be able to work without any problems.
