Satellite L500 - 1WG PSLS0E - impossible to reconnect wireless

* Computer info: *.
Satellite L500-1WG - Partnummer: PSLS0E-07502EN5

Windows 7 Home Premium

The drivers are up to date:
-Microsoft Virtual WiFi Miniport Adapter version - date driver 21.06.2006 - 6.1.7600.16385
-Realtek RTL8191SE Wireless LAN 802.11n PCI-E NIC - 30.07.2010 driver date version - 2017.2.730.2010
-Realtek PCIe FE Family Controller - 23.06.2010 - version 7.23.623.2010 driver date
I disabled the "allow the computer to turn off this device to save power" for all 3 of them.

* Problem: *.
When I start the pc, it connects to my wireless router as usual, but then after that 30-60 minutes it stops working. He always finds the wireless router and the signal is excellent (4-5 bars), but when I try to connect it gives me the error message that it is impossible to connect to my router.

If I restart the PC, it is always impossible to connect.

But if I turn the computer completely off and leave it for a while, it works when I start it again, which suggests that he may need to cool (we noticed that the computer is warm enough, and that the fan is spinning a lot... but that could have been the same before - just that we it has not noticed that it was not a problem)

... But if I only it hibernates and let it cool for a while, it does not work to reconnect when I start again.

I did a test earlier: I started the computer and made sure the wireless connected - then I put into hibernation and he did it again, and after that, he was still unable to connect. Then I stopped had and turned on the right now - and then it works fine.

It's the same question at the local library, but my in-laws it worked fine for 2-3 hours the other day.

My other pc that runs on Ubuntu, works without problems on our wireless.

Any ideas?
-Is it a virus?
- Or my card network is not able to take the heat (material)?
- Or is this a bug of Windows/driver (software)?

I plan to reinstall windows, but before crossing with whom I was wondering if it's worth the hassle... Is it a hardware error, and should I just go directly to the seller?

What you can try is updated the BIOS. Latest version is installed on your laptop?

Another question: where you find WLAN driver version 2017.2.730.2010?
Toshiba's latest version 2015.1.0427.2010?

What should I do to activiate/get connected to the internet? Do I need an external modem wired or wireless as well? No difficult language or abbreviations please, I am a total novice with very limited on this subject knowledge. Have only to learn how to start and run the basic set up.

    HEY buddy,

    > Told me, in the shop, he has an internal modem?
It seems that this shop doesn't know what they are selling or they wanted kid a small round little

It turns out satellite L500 is not equipped with modem and it doesn t have a modem (RJ12) port.

So if you want to use the modem connection, you must purchase an external. But for now he s not advised to use a modem, the majority of the pages are not designed for modem more.

    Hi mate

This device doesn't work properly? Is - this WLan or LAN card?
    I m a bit confused but

As far as I know the LAN and Wlan cell phone support for Realtek card.
So, you can download the two drivers from Realtek page directly.

Please set the BIOS to the default settings before you relocate for the two pilots.

I hope this will help you!

  • BSOD - multiple opportunities on Satellite L500-1WG with WIN7

After 6 months of malfunction without L500 onSatellite purchased in February, about 15 cases of BSOD starting July 23.
Have posted on the forums Microsoft and Tech Guy, but so far without resolution.
have religiously applied all updates from MS (including updated realtek driver) and Toshiba last updated BIOS (both since WIN7 problems started).
Several error messages recording in the monitor reliability and 15 of dumps files in the Windows minidump folder (which none has yet been analyzed by experts.
    Example:

    first crash on 7/23:

    The computer was restarted after a bugcheck. The bugcheck was: 0x0000001a (0xfffffa800331ba20, 0x000000000000ffff, 0 x 0000000000041790, 0 x 0000000000000000). A dump was saved in the: C:\Windows\MEMORY. DMP. Report ID: 072310-22495-01

  • Satellite L500-1WG - benefits of splitting HARD disk

The laptop comes with a 320 GB hard drive and comes as a C: D: DATA 150 GB and 150 GB. How does the hard drive is divided like that? What is advantages and disadvantages? And if you use the D: DATA for?

I read the various opinions on the above questions, so I thought I would ask here.

    Hello

Creating a partition has the following advantages:

1 separation of the operating system and program files, files of the user. This allows image (or clones) backups can be created only the operating system and installed software.
2 having a virtual memory swapping/paging operating system area.
3 keep frequently used programs and data near each other.
4 having cache and log files separate from other files. These can change size quickly and dynamically, potentially making a full file system.
5 use of the multi boot configurations, which allow users to have multiple operating systems on a single computer. For example, you could install Linux, Mac OS X, Microsoft Windows or others on different partitions of the same hard drive and have a choice of starting in any operating system (supported by the hardware) at startup.
6 protection or isolating files, to make it easier to recover a corrupted file or system installation. If a partition is corrupted, no other file systems are affected, and the drive's data may still be recoverable.
7 have a separate partition for read-only data also reduces the chances of the file system on this partition becomes corrupted.

  • Satellite L500-1WG - built in webcam does not work

My built-in web cam is not working, I discovered last week, and I have tried a few solutions as uninstall, then reinstall the driver but that work.

Also I delete my system restore to save space so I can't really go back to when it worked.
I don't think I installed all the drivers webcam lately, so I don't think that was it.

    Help?

Hmmmm... What can be done now?
Generally reinstall the driver webcam should help, but have you tried.

What operating system do you use?
Try to delete web camera application again, clean the registry and all the entries, restart the laptop and try to reinstall the right webcam driver.
I put t really know what else you can try.

By the way: what is the status of the webcam in Device Manager?

  • Satellite L500 - 1CQ PSLS0E - CD/DVD drive does not work - driver problem?

    Hello

My DVD player does not work.

There is power to it. The engine turns when I eject and reinsert. Troubleshooting Control Panel for the equipment and devices said it is a driver problem, but cannot fix it. Problem with the driver.

I reinstalled it from the Toshiba site.
It records in the right place?
I am Windows 7 64 bit and chose the right driver for it.

    Should I use the 64-bit?
I have 3 MB of RAM which was the spec when bought.

If I wanted to change to 32 bit how you take you without the CD/DVD drive?
Is there any point in doing this?

    Thank you

    Richard

    Hello

To be honest I m a bit confused.
You are not able to boot from THE disks; Windows disk, disk recovery, disk Linux?

If it of the case, then it means that your CD/DVD drive is faulty.
Why? Because the CD/DVD drive is recognized and controlled by the BIOS when booting from CD or DVD.

When the Windows operating system has started, the CD/DVD drive must use the Microsoft common driver which is part of the Windows operating system.
This means that you n t need to install ALL the drivers in order to get the job of CD/DVD.

If you can boot from any disk, but if the CD/DVD drive is not recognized by MY computer, then I recommend this:
    http://support.Microsoft.com/kb/270008/en-us

Before you remove the upper and lower registry filters, remove the CD/DVD drive in Device Manager and then go into the registry and remove the filters. Restart the unit.

    Good luck
