  In the search-html file - Call.xsl (located in c:\Program Files\VMware\Service Manager\System1\Search\HTML folder), you can change the settings in the client QDs.  The search folder contains all the parameter to the search screen.

  In the research-html file - Call.xsl, it just search "Attribute 1" and change it to "User Name".  Save the file iisreset.

• How to disable the Validation of the LOV on the search screen?

  I have a request for information form to allow the user to search from a main table.

  I added a LOV next to one of the research area to allow the user to get the code corresponding to the search as below.

  

  The LOV works very well and the user can select a value in the LOV and its target of search result.

  However, if the user manually entered something in this text field that is not a value valid within the LOV, adf exception out.

  It seems that it is because the validation against the VO LOV. Is it possible to disable LOV the validation on this job? Thank you!

  Reference Dell Inspiration 8200 computer laptop running Windows XP.  The screen resolution is set to 1600 x 1200.  When I change to 1024 x 768 or 800 x 600, the Office is shrinking and is centered on the black space screen all around rather than to just all look more and filling the screen as it happens on my desktop computer.

  How can I fix it?

  The laptop has one (and only one) goal and it's playing a game on it.  The game comes tiny in the center of the screen and I want that it fills the screen as in the same way as on my desktop.  The game's maximum resolution is 800 x 600.

  Follow the steps below to update the graphics card:

  • Access the manufacturer's Web site and save the most recent display on your desktop driver
  • Follow the steps below:
  1. Click the Start button
  2. Right click on my computer
  3. Select Manage
  4. Select Device Manager
  5. Expand the display adapter by clicking on the + sign next to the device
  6. Right click on the adapter
  7. Select Update driver

  I'm on the latest version of CC, running on a macbook pro running OSX 10.10.4

  I'm in bridge and select a sequence of photos, tools/photoshop/load files into photoshop layers. After you load the layers, I find myself with the home screen loaded on top, like a modal window with no way to close it. The top of the home screen seems to be 'under' the OSX menu bar, so I don't have visibility where access to any button "close".

  I tried to scroll to the bottom of the Welcome screen and selecting the "do not load at startup", but then I can't save this option because the only way I have to get out of photoshop is force it close because the Welcome screen doesn't let me do anything.

  I'm running on an external monitor, above my mac pro screen. The two screens are active and act in the way that they appear in the Visual extension of the other (for example I 'up' from my mac pro screen to get my big screen). I noticed that lately (maybe beyond 6 months) cc apps became not good to recognize where they are run and open dialogs on the wrong screen.

  Trying to install a search plugin on win7 laptop running Firefox 11, but I get a message "sorry, you must use a Mozilla based browser to install a search plugin. I had no problem installing when you use Firefox 10.0.2.

  Also, make sure that you are not blocking JavaScript.

  Start Firefox in Firefox to solve the issues in Safe Mode to check if one of the extensions or if hardware acceleration is the cause of the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox/tools > Modules > appearance/themes).

  This problem may occur because of any browser add ons installed.

  If you are facing the issue in Internet Explorer, you can try to launch IE in no mode of modules and find the issue.

  Method 1:

  Depending on what you add in the quick search, you can try the option modify search CSI_OA_PROD_QUICK_SEARCH_ITEMS and modify the code for SearchBar.java. You may need to make necessary changes in load.

• Impossible to change the bright screen on Satellite Pro C50-A-143

  I run windows 8.1 and I could not change the brightness of the screen for a while now.

  It happened a few months before, but after a random number of days that it worked again, now it is stuck in about 60% bright max, which is not enough when the sun comes through the window.

  According to the Toshiba Satellite Pro C50-A-143 datasheet this laptop has been preloaded with Win 7 64 bit and Win additional 8.1 own drive was part of the package.
  I assume that you have installed own 8.1 win but have not installed all the drivers Toshiba win 8.1.

  Is this correct?

  Visit the page of the Toshiba UE driver, install all the drivers, tools and utilities (graphic card drivers display tool, driver Toshiba system, etc.)
  Utility function key Toshiba is very important if it is to use the key function (Fn, F1-10)

  Then you should be able to use the function key to decrease and increase the brightness of the display.
