Impossible to uninstall Adobe Acrobat 9 Pro Win10?

I could not uninstall Adobe Acrobat 9 Pro since my Win10 since the upgrade (previously worked on Win7, it includes Adobe does not support Acrobat 9 Pro on Win10)

I tried both the process of uninstalling Windows AND using the original CD I have installed since.  The experience is the same:

MSI begins-> select 'Delete'-> next-> Remove

-Pop-up error: error 1500. Another installation is in progress.  You must complete this setup before the character of it.

There is NO other installation or uninstallation running.  You want to know how to bypass this error and get this product uninstalled from my laptop.  It is now unusable and take too much space.

Hi brandin48794787,

Please try to run the cleanup tool "Download Adobe Reader and Acrobat tool - Adobe Labs" on your machine to remove all traces of Acrobat.

Then restart your machine.

Let me know how it goes.

Kind regards

Christian

    Hi leighh50950915,

DC XI & Acrobat Acrobat has been tested successfully on Windows 10.

Other versions may or may not work, difficult to predict behavior.

However, try to uninstall & reinstall the printer drivers.

Also make sure that Acrobat 9 is updated.

  • How to do a manual uninstall of Adobe Acrobat 9 Pro (9.4.4) on my Mac?

    Salvation of Adobe Acrobat experts

Can someone walk me through the steps I need to take in order to perform a manual uninstall of Adobe Acrobat 9 Pro on my mac?

I just got Adobe Acrobat 11 on my mac and won't accidentally uninstall that in the process, or delete whatever it is necessary for me to run my other applications CS4 Master Suite.

I cannot uninstall the normal way and have tried to solve it in many ways. The last resort, so I uninstall manually. I don't want to spoil my PDFs.

    Thank you very much!

  • Presentation of Adobe acrobat 9 pro can not communicate with hp officejet 8600 premium pro scanner via WAI

Scanner works with the HP software and test successfully with HP Diagnostic Utility 4.2.  However, when I try to create a PDF document from the scanner by using Adobe Acrobat 9 Pro I get an error message indicating that Adobe cannot communicate with the scanner HP 8600 WAI or Twain.

I've worked fine before with my HP 6380 hooked up via USB

    Hi jusandi,

Because the printer is able to scan from HP and Microsoft paint software then the problem you are having is with the Adobe Acrobat 9 software. My first suggestion would be to uninstall the program and then reinstall it to see if the problem persists. If you still have the same problem, you need to contact Adobe technical support.

  • Downgraded to Adobe Acrobat 9 Pro

    Good afternoon

Rupesh lead us from Adobe Customer Serivce, according to case number: 0187709220

We have uninstalled Adobe Acrobat DC and have installed Adobe Acrobat 9 Pro, but have problems with the activation of the available license we have < removed serial number > as said this is a upgrade license.

You would please if we can use this license as it's currently free, and we've actually downgraded not upgraded in this particular case.

The error message "you have entered the serial number indicates that your installation is an upgrade from Adobe Acrobat Pro version.» To be eligible for this upgrade, you must already have no product qualifying. We have looked into the default locations where products qualifying installed on this computer, but none have been found. You can check the upgrade of eligibility without having to install your previous software by filling in the fields below'

and then he asks for us to choose in a drop of old versions of Adobe Acrobat and their serial numbers

We had tried to enter the serial numbers of the older Adobe Acrobat products that we have here, but it would not accept.

probably because the previously installed version was actually an upgrade to this version (IE. DC in 9 Pro)

    No acrobat license is free.

If your acrobat 9 pro installer is to ask for a release candidate, it's because your license of acrobat 9 is an upgrade from a previous version.
