Impossible to uninstall Macromedia Flash Player 7 on Satellite A100-533

Hi there :)

I use an A100-533 with a Toshiba restore CD.
But I can't uninstall Macromedia Flash Player, which is installed automatically from the recovery cd.
If I try, I always get the message:

"The feature you are trying to use is on a network unavailable resource.

Click OK to try again or enter a different path to the folder containing the installation package 'install_flash_player_7.msi' in the box below.

Use source:
C:\Sysprep.

Download install_flash_player_7.msi and put the file in the C:\Sysprep did not help.

In another thread about the same message, I found this link that helped the author of thread: http://support.toshiba-tro.de/kb0/TSB6501GM0002R01.htm
But it no longer works.

Someone at - it an idea to get rid of Macromedia Flash Player? :(

Hello

Why you want to remove it?

First of all it s no more Macromedia Flash Player but the Adobe Flash player.
So I recommend you to visit the Adobe page and download and install the latest version of the Flash player on the site.

Finally, it should be possible to remove the Flash player from the system in the Panel-> Add & Remove programs

In addition, I recommend the free application called CCleaner. Some guys recommended this too. You can manually delete all the files in flash player and you can clean the registry using this software.

Welcome them

  • How to uninstall Macromedia Flash Player version 7

    Hello world!

You just bought a Palm Treo 500, but I cannot load the accompanying CD. The error that says that I have an obsolete macromedia flash player.

I have already installed the latest version of adobe flash player, but I can't seem to rid the old version (version 7) on my system. Add/Remove program can't find any uninstall program on my system.
Can someone help me on this?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    Hello

Usually, if you have already updated the old version of Macromedia Flash Player, then it of really not necessary to remove the old version. The new update should replace automatically!

  • Cannot update or Uninstall Macromedia Flash player!

    Hi people!

I have a problem with the automatically installed Flash Player. I use a Qosmio G20.

During the installation of a new program (financial Office Lexware) this program has tried to update Macromedia Flash player to the latest version. But the former Player uninstall was interrupted and the following message appears:

The feature you are trying to use is on a network unavailable resource.

Click OK to try again or enter a different path to the folder containing the installation package 'install_flash_player_7.msi' in the box below.

    Use source:
    C:\Sysprep\

Close this window ends the installation process of this new program.

After that, I opened the list of installed programs to uninstall Flash manually, but with the same result.

Then I searched the internet for this install_flash_player_7.msi. I found the file but I can always remove or update Flash Player.

As a last chance, I backed up all my data and used the recovery DVD to reinstall the whole system. Without having to install any additional application, I took a look at the list of installed programs, and guess what? The Flash Player has already been installed, so it is part of the recovery DVD.

But why it can not be uninstalled? I really need to get rid of the former player to be able to install Lexware financial Office...

Thank you in advance for your help!

    Hello

Well, the message the component you are trying to use is on a network resource that is not available is displayed because you install Falsh from a resource, such as a network server, functionality which is no longer available during installation.
If you are disconnected from your network resource or point of installation, please try using another way or place to download flash.

  • Impossible to uninstall Adobe Flash Player to reinstall later

From last Friday night, I noticed that I could not watch videos on ESPN and CNN. The video boxes were black or a message to d/l Adobe Flash Player. I went to Adobe maybe install a Flash Player update. He went through the installation, but on the page of confirmation, no pattern, or message that it was. By checking the FLASH file, I had (10,0,42,34). So I got the Flash uninstaller for Flash Player update online. I D/L the (Adobe Flash Player ActiveX) to install, but it collapsed because the old version was not removed? So now I can't uninstall Adobe Flash Player and install any Flash drive. I just can not in any way remove or install! I don't know why Adobe Flash Player gone bad. I can't find any resolution online so far. Does anyone know how to get around this problem or how to remove Adobe Flash Player to reinstall and enjoy the sites still...

Hi QSX, must be a full moon, people come out of sorts, including myself :-) I understand the frustration, a little over 50 + messages on another thread with problems and it gets that way on this side of the fence too.

OK, let's see where we are. In your first post, you still had the enumerated 10.0.42.34 vs. I guess, that was the vs you wanted to uninstalled in order to install the last vs 10.0.45.2. If this is the case, then what happened during uninstallation, something prevents installation of vs 10.0.45.2 and when that could not be installed, then the 10.0.42.34 was left in place.

Now that you have installed one of the 10.1 RC, I think its RC6 now. Also, you have tried the SubInACL and it did not work.

The way to sort it, is the last-in first-out. The 10.1 has to be uninstalled, but the installer is for beta versions, not the normal uninstall program. I will post that in a minute. First of all, I see no reason why you can't have (after removing 10.1) vs10.0.45.2 install Flash Player 10. Everything is necessary is to determine what happened the first time, but we can go into that if you want to do.

The reason you get pop ups, is that Web sites are looking for Flash Player 10, not a beta. Or if you do not have the Shockwave Flash Object your add ons. It's the command that works with Flash files.

There is a way to ensure a successful uninstall and install Flash Player, I think in your case, it has not been done correctly.

Here is the link to the site that has the link to uninstall for the 10.1. Page down and you will see the uninstall information.

    http://labs.Adobe.com/downloads/flashplayer10.html

Let's get the 10.1 uninstalled first, don't forget when you finish to Reboot (restart) your computer. I'm not sure but I thot, I read that this program uninstaller to uninstall the on-board version also?

    Hello

You have already read instructions similar to the following:

Download and run the Flash Player uninstaller program.

    http://helpx.Adobe.com/Flash-Player/KB/uninstall-Flash-Player-Windows.html

Then download and install Flash Player; After unchecking installing Chrome and Google toolbar option:

    http://get.Adobe.com/flashplayer/?promoid=BUIGP

Adobe sometimes ask you to close Internet Explorer, do not close your Internet connection.

You can click on run to start at Adobe > then close IE and let the installation following the instructions.

If the problem persists, you may want to ask in the Forums of community Flash Player:

  • How can I uninstall old Flash Player 15 Plugin that my pc won't let me?

I'm having the problem to do a clean install, by completely uninstalling older versions.

It is the manual method to uninstall Flash Player on Win7 and below.

Note: Under Windows 8 and superior people will mess up their systems in doing so.
If you are on one of these platforms, don't do that.  Seriously.

First of all, this procedure is invasive.  It is a fantastic time to backup anything critics on your computer, if you do not already have current backups.

Perform a new installation of Flash Player on Windows:

    https://forums.Adobe.com/thread/928315

If you encounter one that you cannot complete (which you probably won't), it is a good indication that your file system is damaged.  This is perhaps something at random, or it is an alert that your hard drive will die.

If this happens, first run chkdsk and repair problems with the file system:

    https://support.Microsoft.com/en-us/KB/2641432

If you're still stuck, and it's a file you can't delete, Unlocker will usually make available again: Unlocker - free download and software reviews - CNET Download.com

If it is a registry key that you can not delete, then you are in territory less comfortable.

Windows has already automatically analysis and repairs the registry, if something is spectacularly messed up, if you are in this State.  There are commercial utilities that offer to repair the registry, but I don't know any of them well enough to make a recommendation.  Personally, I consider as a sign that it is time to think of wiping the machine and start over with a new OS install.  Something is wonky and the system will happen certainly much better with a clean slate.  If your disc * is * dying, there is a good chance that you will push over the edge in the process, but it was already a matter of time, and it's better than losing it having not been backed up.

  • How do I uninstall the flash player for Windows 8.1 debugger

I installed the debug version of Flash Player to make development work. I would now like to uninstall the version of developers and get back to the standard version. How?

    I am running Windows 8.1 x 64 with IE 11.

My system shows "You have installed 14,0,0,176 version" from the Flash Player page.

    Hello

Given that Microsoft integrates Flash Player in Internet Explorer on Wndows 8.x/10, the standalone uninstall program does not have to remove the ActiveX on Windows 8.x/10 control (it does not uninstall the plugins NPAPI and PPAPI.)  Instructions to uninstall the debugger Windows 8.x are displayed to the Adobe Flash Player - download which is the same page that contains the links for debugger Windows 8.x installers.  Uninstall instructions are directly below the links for debuggers.

Microsoft integrates Flash Player on Windows 8.x/10 they lock files to prevent users to uninstall because it is a built-in component of IE.  Since you have manually unregistered ActiveX components you have done irreparable damage to the file system, which is beyond the scope of this Flash Player installer forum.  This could by why you get the message that the update does not apply to you, however, that it is difficult to determine at this stage.  I could start by running Windows Update and see if it includes an update to "update for Internet Explorer for Windows Player Flash 8.x".  If she is not there, you may need to install other updates before "update for Internet Explorer for Windows Player Flash 8.x" update appears.  If it appears at all, you will need to contact Microsoft for assistance.

  • Uninstall Adobe Flash Player 14.0.0.145 - IE 11

As install Adobe 14.0.0.145 Xcelsius has stopped working. I received the recommendation to replace the new version of the other older. I installed version 11 but I am still having the same problem. I use with Windows 8.1, IE 11, the version of the plug-in is 11.3.300.273, but still the ActiveX 14.0.0.145 version. I would like to install version 15, but the system shows me a message stating that I already have the latest version installed on my browser and Windows update will let me know when new versions are available. A few suggestions on how could I continue to clean all versions and reinstall the version 15?

    Hello

On Windows 8.x, Microsoft integrates Flash Player in Internet Explorer and updates are published through Internet Explorer updates.  There is no way to uninstall Flash Player for Internet Explorer on Windows 8.x

Flash Player 15 is out today, and Microsoft has also released their update today.  You can manually check the updates by running Windows Update > Check for Updates rather than wait for Microsoft to tell you an update is available.  This method only updates Flash Player for Internet Explorer.  If you use other browsers (less Google Chrome), you can update the Plugin by navigating to get.adobe.com/flashplayer with this browser.  If you use Google Chrome, Google takes Flash Player in Chrome and publishes updates to update, either through the component update, or an update of Chrome.

    HTH.
