I suspect that I accidentally pressed a button or two on my Toshiba Satellite M55 and now all the images and the text have changed their vertical horizontal ratio. As a result, a vertical oblong (like a playing card), now looks like the place and all the letters and the images seems to be shortened or at least more wide than they should be. • 'Please wait until that the current program is finished uninstalling or change'

Im trying to uninstall a program and when I click on uninstall it says: "Please wait unti the current program is finshed uninsatlling or that" it says always that what I'm doing.

    Hello

This question has been answered here:

    http://answers.Microsoft.com/en-us/Windows/Forum/windows_vista-windows_programs/error-when-uninstall-a-program-Please-wait-until/9a32c111-F3B7-4079-BB4A-f781fa8f12ee

    I think you should try:

#1 restart your system and try again.

#2 check that the software is not running in the background.

#3 try a 3rd party uninstaller but be careful because you don't have much control over how a 3rd party uninstaller effectively uninstalls - sometimes they leave "debris" that can affect future use.

    Kind regards

    Joel

  • uninstalled applications, received message: Please wait until the current program has finished uninstalling or one. After several reboots, still same message.

Original title: 2 numbers do not know if they are related

I have 2 questions and I don't know if they are related. Several days ago I was doing some cleaning and uninstalling programs to free up space. I don't know what I started with, but it seemed to go ok. However, after all that I've tried to uninstall gave me the message: Please wait until the current program has finished uninstalling or one. I rebooted the computer more than once during this period, but it still says that.

Then my internet explore has stopped working just for 2 or 3 days. I've been using google chrome to access things, but it is rather slow.
I ran repeated virus and malware scans my norton security and the microsoft Web site, and all said I am clean.

Yes, it's windows 7 I appreciate the suggestions, but the problem was that he wouldn't LET me not uninstall anything. He gave me the waiting message please do anything, and he's not missing if I stopped and restarted. Finally, I gave up. I saved my files to my external hardrive and just do a full recovery of the computer. He solved the problem of installed programs and the internet problem explore both, although I hoped it would avoid going that drastic.

  • Impossible to uninstall Symantec Endpoint Protection after system restore

    Hello
a program has been uninstalled (Symantec Endpoint Protection)
After have rebooted and still have problems to install a newer version, I decided to do a system
Restore prematurely, I uninstalled the original version.
(Since I couldn't find the installation files or my license info)

The old version worked again.  Now I am able to start the
new version, the old version will not uninstall.

It just sits there in a small box with a bar saying Windows of progression
in the configuration of Symantec Endpoint Protection and it remains as it
for as long as I left, at least 25 minutes.

I thought that the system restore would put things back exactly as they
have been, but it's apparently not the case.

OT: Impossible to uninstall after system restore

    Any ideas on that?
The OS is Windows 7 Pro 64 bit 64-bit.
I found this, but have not yet tried.

I was able to cirumvent the problem by a selective startup in Msconfig.

I disabled all startup items, all services not MS, restarted and then uninstalled

successfully.  However, I met another strange problem.

After uninstalling old version, I rebooted (the system was still selective

startp) I put a new restore point and installed the new version successfully.

Later, realizing msconfig has been arrived at "selective", I went and

has tried to return to Normal startup.  However, when you select normal

and hit 'apply', it immediately jumps to selective.  I have never seen it before.

I didn't know how to solve.

Instead, I uninstalled the new version of the AV program, jumped to the restore point

I did before I installed, rebooted, open Msconfig and have been correctly set up

In normal mode.  Then reinstalled the AV.

    Everything is OK now.

You ever heard of this problem of msconfig before?

  • About: config is the network parameter. IDN.blacklist_chars that contains what looks like the trash graphics characters - is this normal?

About: config is the parameter "network. IDN.blacklist_chars' that contains what looks like garbage graphics characters.

It's a bit weird - as it is corrupt.

    Is this normal?

    Thank you!

    Good to know.

On the Mozilla site and "Getting started" video, the browser has a round look with a "Firefox" tab on top. I just installed it and it looks quite like this. Actually, looks like IE (Internet Explorer) which makes very difficult customization.

  • How the new Firefox look like the old Firefox?

I was looking at the new version of Firefox and really don't like how it looks. If I update to it is there a way to make Firefox like the old? 3.6.24 is the version that I use now, and I like really what it looks like.

You see the button refresh (Reload) as an icon of circle on the site of the right hand of the address next to the star of bookmark bar and the location bar drop historical marker.

Firefox 4 and later versions use a combined Stop/Reload/Go button that is placed at the right end of the address bar.

During the process of loading page it shows as a stop button and once the charging button is replaced by a reload button.

If you type in the address bar this button would then become a button go.

Click the Reload button to duplicate the current tab in a new tab.

To move the buttons Stop and recharge in the position to the left of the address bar, you can use the following steps:

    • Open the Customize via "view > toolbars > customize.
    • If the menu bar is hidden on Windows or Linux use "Firefox > Options > toolbars."
    • Drag the buttons Reload and stop at their previous position to the left of the address bar.
    • Set the "Reload - Stop" order for a combined "Stop/Reload" button.
    • Set the order of 'Stop - Reload' or separate them otherwise (space or separator) for two separate buttons.
  • How can I make Firefox look like the new toolbar update?

I installed Firefox 4 to a new computer running Windows XP, but I still have the old look and layout of Firefox. I want to use the new look with all in a drop down menu bar.

It is a new installation of Firefox 4 with no previous version installed. Here is what mine looks like.

    See image: http://i52.tinypic.com/1532y4h.jpg

Right-click on the Menu bar and click to deselect the menu bar.
