  Creative cloud. Desktop Mac OS X Yosemite 10.10.2. 4 GB of RAM (Yes, I know, it's ridiculous! working on it!)

  1. I tried to Open a Muse created by someone else and a window popped up saying that I had to upgrade my software to open the file.

  2. I clicked to Update. Muse software open it however Office CC app would never load. None of my apps would show up.

  3. I examined this question (to the point 2) and tried to leave my Office CC application. Except the Don't Quit option was not clickable for me. I tried other ways to quit smoking, but it seems that the program would not let me.

  4. then I tried to uninstall my CC Adobe all together, but in the process, a window popped up that I had to first leave the desktop application . That, of course, I couldn't do because of problem to the point 3.

  Don't know what I should / can do so here. Please let me know what steps to take so that I can fix the option.

  Force quit the application of CC desktop (you can use the activity monitor) and try to reinstall.

  Just received a new Dell pc... and the first thing install was the CC Adobe Download Manager...

  I dump disabled WF 10 and started to install Photoshop CC... No problems.

  But when I try to update I got an error message.  Unable to reach the Adobe server, please check your firewall settings.

  Then I ran the Adobe tool cleaning 2 times... and tried to install always the same problem.

  I contacted my ISP... They tested my connection... no problem found.

  I ran a test to see how good or bad, that my internet was... Seems to be ok.

  

  Google and Facebook Search I see that a lot of people has the same exact problems with their updates of Adobe. I think there must be a "bug" in the Adobe update service.

  You updated Lightroom to version 6.5? This is the version you need. What is the exact wording of the message you receive?

  Open the Temp folder.

  Clear the contents of the Temp folder.

  Remove AAM Updater: Location: Windows C:\ Users-user account-App Data \Local\ Adobe \AAM Updater

  Disable your Antivirus and firewall computer for awhile.

  Launch Desktop CC and try to download Apps.

  Thank you for your response. It was the right solution, but I missed something in your response. I had to start several times to download / update. Throw/delete (or the procedure of the description) files don't get past not like you described, but I tried something myself and it worked finally.

  But I have to ask: If this problem continues, of course, that a workaround is available, why is this a problem in the software persists, exist?

  I went to the info on my "Adobe" folder in the "Applications" folder my

  hard drive and found that my 'sharing and permissions"on the"admin ".

  option is read only.

  I unlocked the Adobe folder and changed my admin privileges to read and

  Are you part of apps your subscription of the cc cs6?

  If so, open your desktop cc app and update your programs cs6.

  If this is not the case open programs and click Help > updates or manually update http://www.adobe.com/downloads/updates/

  When I try to update cloud to Adobe, the update runs about 10 sequences and then stops.

  I checked the logs and has detected an error during initialization of the updater. (error code 46).

  Any ideas?

  Photoshop CC 2015 would require minimum Mac OS 10.9, therefor you can maximum download the trial version of Photoshop CC 2014 which is compatible with the version of Mac OS you have.

  There is no upgrade path.

  If you buy CS6, be informed on what you get (not better).

  • CS6 is 4 years old.
  • CS6 is no longer supported,
  • CS6 will never be updated, ever.
  • It is 5 versions behind the current 2015 CC.
  • It lacks all the latest bells & whistles found in current versions.
  • But to continue to improve operating systems, subsequently CS6 will stop working in those newer.

  For the money you would spend on CS6, you'd be much better join the creative cloud.
