Improve the thin line apply to all the text in my PDF

So I'm just learning the cause of my fonts bold when show my CV in Adobe Reader was the thin line improve "characteristic". But anyway, I read are just a few bold letters, my document as a whole is to be bold! When I turn off the thin line it seems to improve as it should, but if someone only has not this function or views in a good web browser see "BOLD" lines, how the hell do I fix this? I tried several things like change the font and by increasing the size of the characters, but no matter what it still applies it the player application both in web browsers, no matter if its an installed font or Times New Roman it still happens.

Please any help?

Maybe you have inadvertently applied a stroke to your text in InDesign. If the race has any color, InDesign will give a preview of the text even if the width of the line is set to zero.

To test a sample, select any word in bold with the text tool, open the swatches Panel and check that it has any color applied to the race. If there is, it changes to zero.

    Hello good day.

    I made a text in photoshop, but it's all jagged crept with few DPI more it already with a resolution of 300 DPI.

    I wonder if is to improve the text of the resolution, then it only would not serrated, to stay a vector type. Thank you.

    Judging by 277% zoom, this text seems to be too small in size in points for a good

    reproduction in the form of a chart with 300 DPI raster.

    If this text could be exported as PDF vector illustration is doubtful.

    Finally the effects prevent the Visual text to be managed as a vector.

    It is not yet clear if the glyphs are typographically clean (not distorted).

  • Pulling on the text of a PDF?

    Hello, we are extracting the text from a PDF so that we can make a web edition of all content. Cut and paste out is tedious. Is there an easy way to get the text? Thank you

    With Acrobat 8 or 9 Pro: file > export - choose the desired output file format.

    With Acrobat X Pro: file > save as - choose the desired output file format.

    It helps (a lot) if the PDF file is a PDF containing the reasonably well-trained tag.

  • Line drawings distorted by the improvement of thin line of Adobe Reader functionality

    I work with InDesign CS6 on a manual of engineering with approximately 1300 drawings line.  When a PDF export in InDesign is displayed in Adobe Reader XI, the widths of line drawings are deformed by feature thin line improvement of the drive.  The default setting for Fine Line Enhancement in Reader is on.  I understand that the features of the user of the drive can be controlled by a document.  Is that what I can do in InDesign to reduce the effect of thin line improvement of the reader on the image quality?

    (Ironically, the artwork drawn in Illustrator in a pdf document and exported in InDesign seems well in Google Chrome, but unfortunate in Adobe Reader!)

    I think that enhance fine lines don't apply that lines (strokes), so I suggest you to use Acrobat to convert all the traits of contours. This will not change the width of the line, only the way in which the anchor points do the line. One way to do this in Acrobat is to go to tools > Print Production > overview of flattening > convert all the traits of contours. I can't promise this will not change the appearance of some of the illustrations, but it might work for you.

  • JavaScript to extract the second line only a field of text as a PDF?  Is this possible?

    I have a PDF form created in Acrobat DC.  One of the fields is a for the name and address multi line text field.  The user between that info with carriage returns in a field named the plaintiff that ends in a format such as:

    Name

    Mailing address

    City, State Zip

    I need to extract JUST the second line of this field to complete another field of text with these data.  So, my second text field called StreetAddress and would automatically extract only the second input line in the text field named candidate.

    Is it still possible?  If so, can someone give me an example of how this can be accomplished?  I don't want to ask the applicant to each line of input in separate fields.

    Of course, it is possible. Use this code as the "StreetAddress": custom calculation script

    var fullAddress = this.getField("Applicant").valueAsString;
    var lines = fullAddress.split("\r");
    if (lines.length>1) event.value = lines[1];
    else event.value = "";

  • Why I can't select the text in this pdf file

    Hello

    https://rapidshare.com/files/461732149/cannot_select.PDF

    I can't select text. When I try to select text, the cursor looks like a helping hand. It seems that there is a layer above the text. But when I use the Editor tool, I do not see any layer above the text. Is it possible to change the pdf file so that I can select some text?

    In fact, you should be able to select the text with the Touchup text tool if the annotation link is here or not. What is the tool you use?

    If you want to remove links, you can use the correction before the flight "to dispose of invalid links. At least the link in the sample document is not valid, because there is no action defined for it. You can also use the correction of 'Delete all annotations' to remove all the links that are present, even though you can edit or create a new correction to remove link annotations only.

  • How can I change the text in a pdf document using an embedded font?

    I'm trying to edit text in a pdf document where the text is in a (Nimbus San) embedded font, but when I try to add some text in the text box, it appears in Minion instead of the police of San Nimbus.  I don't understand why I can't change by using the embedded font.

    The fonts are licensed assets subject to single use. They are not intended to share, redesigned, etc..

    As part of the PDF standard that they included in a document so that the document can be considered reliably without the police be installed on the viewing station.

    To change you must have fonts installed on your computer. The possibility for the second parties to use the police violate the licensing of fonts.

  • Can I change the text of a PDF file?

    Hello.

    I have a file in which I placed (as in file > place) a PDF file.

    I want to change the text of the PDF - or less to copy its text must be filed in a regular InDesign text frame.

    Is this feasible?

    Thank you very much

    InDesign see the PDF in the form of a uneducable chart so that you can not change it in InDesign.

    You can open the PDF file in Adobe Acrobat Pro and use the selection to copy the text. You can also convert text in Acrobat format to a Word or Rich Text Format (RTF) that could be included in InDesign.

  • Get the text of a pdf form to fill in Illustrator layers

    Hi all

    OK, here's the thing. I have some PDF forms with multiple lines and columns and the information in them. I need to take this information and place Illustrator layered on a file. I've seen examples here accomplished that, with Excel files, but is there a way to do it from a PDF form? I use CS6 and Javascript.

    I appreciate any help you can provide me.

    Kind regards

    If you are in the export of files and to analyze text manually and forms are conducive to this, you can try to export data to PDF form as xml or .fdf (?) file, those who provide a text of these data document.
