  Click the icon (top left of your screen) Apple > System Preferences > users and groups.

  Then, by default, the "Password" button is selected on the top. Click on the button "Login Items".

  Here you can add items, folders, applications, network even locations which will be launched during its connection.

  Find Skype in your Applications and add and it will start automatically when you start your Mac.

  (I have OSX Lion, if you have something else, it might be a little different, but I think the general idea is the same

  Welcome to the Forums of HP Support! I see you want for your printer HP switch automatically when an incoming fax arrives. You have not the possibility to activate the automatic answer - on, but the printer must be turned on so that this function executes.

  There is however no way to set the preferences to activate the printer when it is off.

  Unfortunately, this information is not always accurate. If you took some of your pictures in a different time zone, for example, the time recorded for these pictures could be incorrect by several hours. The camera can also be set to the wrong date and time. Or, if you're scanning photos, ta date will reflect the date that they have been digitized, not the date on which they were taken. All these anomalies can be adjusted manually.

  To change the date or time

  1. open Windows Photo Gallery by clicking on the Start button, all programs, and then clicking Windows Photo Gallery.

  2. If you do not see the details on the side of the window pane, click information on the toolbar to display it.

  3. click on the image you want to change.

  1. to select more than one picture, hold down the CTRL and click each picture you want to change.

  4. click on the date at the top of the details pane.

  5. click on the arrow next to the date and then click the correct date on the calendar.

  6. click on the time at the top of the details pane.

  7. Select the correct time.

   

  To adjust the time for pictures taken in a different time zone

  2. right click on the image you want to change and then click on change time taken.

  To select more than one picture, hold down the CTRL and click each picture you want to change, and then click a picture when you are done.

  3. in the change to box, type the number of hours to change, or click the up or down arrow to select the number of hours. To make the new start time, type a minus sign (-) before the number.

  Whenever I'm connect in a new photo session starts up, using a lot of resources and significantly slow down the logon process. How can I disable that?

  There are two possibilities that I think.   First of all, you let pictures running when you stop?   When you start, Mac OS will automatically re - try open any application you had open at the stop.

  Second, you have an iPhone or an iPad connected to your Mac via USB when you restart your Mac?   In the Photos, there is an option to open the pictures when your iDevice is connected to your Mac.   Select the device in the sidebar on the left and to the top of the window, there should be a check box with the text "Open pictures for this device".   Unchecking this box will stop Photos to open with the attached iDevice.

  I guess you've planned somehow a script to run at startup. I have no more CS5, but in more recent versions of Photoshop, you can find Scripts under file and would go to the Scripts event Manager dialog box. You can see that I set this up to run the sticker to the startup action. To stop running just uncheck the events allow to run box. It's probably a little bit different in CS5, but you can probably get by on your own now.
