• Server NTP - DST Chile

  Good afternoon:

  I live in the Chile and as some know, the time of energy savings change is pretty hectic down here.

  The Government has recently decided to return to the May15th to August winter time. Of course the time servers Apple (site time.apple.com) do not take into account this adjustment of random winter weather. However, there is a time-line server called ntp.shoa.cl success of the Chile that always updates itself very well.

  My questions are the following:

  The time servers NTP purge UT/UTC/Zulu time and not the local time.  They don't know what time zone you are using.

  You're going to need an update of your database of local time zone rules.    That can either be changed manually, or - pending a whole updated Apple rules - set the offset manually in System Preferences > Date & time > time zone or (more probably) from the command line.

  From what I've seen of him, the Chile is used to make changes of last minute, no pun intended - for DST.   This means that everyone tends to be a little behind on the latest distribution of the whole of the zone rules.

  A mi me ha pasado lo mismo con Suse 9.1 y Centos. OS paso UN documento Vmware donde explican los cambios than hay do in los del kernel segun the distribution parameters. A mi me ha solved the problem. Concretamente Suse tuve as seguir con las page that requires sober el servicio ntp.

• I have Cloud and Outlook 2016

  I have Office 2016 on my computers that installed Office 365. And so I have my calendars and contacts on Outlook configured to synchronize with I Cloud. I know that many people have the same problem I have in what FEI an Office Update installed in August of this year, Outlook no longer works with I Cloud. I've had several conversations and phone conversations with Microsoft technicians, but as of the now, they tell me there is no solution for the problem.

  I live a few months the problem and will continue to do so, but it seems certain that between Microsoft and Apple this problem should be fixed well before now.

  Does anyone have any suggestions they can give me on how to fix?

  The fastest way I can think of would be to go to the Albums, go to all the Photos tab, highlight the photo you want to delete and press 'Select' in the upper right corner. Place your finger on the first complete line, you want to remove (if you have pictures that do not have a complete row that you want to remove these institutions, select them individually first), slide your finger on the line so that they are all selected, and then slide up so that it starts automatically at your old photos of scrolling. Once the photos you want to delete are selected, press the trash in the lower right. This will move them to your album "Recently deleted", then they will be always on your phone for 30 days, unless you remove them. If you are sure that you have already backed up these photos and does not accidentally still photos you want, feel free to remove them.

• 2016-001 security update restart blocks iMac

  This is an iMac of 2013 end on OS X 10.11.6. Installation of security update 2016-001 10.11.6 requires a reboot.   If the problem is still there, try to start safe mode using your usual account.  Disconnect all devices except those necessary for the test. Shut down the computer and then put it up after a 10 second wait. Immediately after hearing the startup chime, hold down the SHIFT key and continue to hold it until the gray Apple icon and a progress bar appear. Startup is considerably slower than normal. This will reset some caches, forces a check for directory and disables all start-up and connection, among other things. When you restart normally, the initial restart may be slower than normal. If the system is operating normally, there may be 3rd party applications that pose a problem. Try to delete/disable the third-party applications after a reboot using the UN-Installer.
