In Design view, it looks good, but in the preview it is piled up in left side

  I am currently underway with a website that is looking good in ie, but horrible in firefox and safari? It has something to do with css?  In Dreamweaver, it previews fine in all browsers (apart from the spry accordion in firefox Panel, I guess that's another question, I need to deal with)?   Right-click the menu bar and uncheck the option menu bar.

• Design view of Dreamweaver CS3 went

  I did a full page layout and everything was beautiful.  I downloaded the website and it looks good, but there are a few things I need to change.  I went back to Dreamweaver and the image of design view disappeared.  All that shows is a picture gray with a small box in the upper left corner that shows a small box that looks like a missing image icon?  In any case, nothing else.  The code is still there and when I go to preview in browser, it still shows the site.  I do most of my work in design mode and code so would really like to find a resolution to this.  Thank you!

  If all goes well when all errors are eliminated the page will display correctly in DW.  Just a tag unclosed for example, for the failure page is displayed in Design view :-)

• Design view in Burrito

  Part of the reason why I upgraded to Burrito (or rather attempted, as I have always failed, see http://supportforums.blackberry.com/t5/Tablet-OS-SDK-for-Adobe-AIR/Error-Username-or-password-is-inv...), it's that I (thought?) I read somewhere on the new 'Design view' in Burrito with his ability to design screens in WYSIWYG style.

  Is it possible to activate it?

  Hey vaiomike,

  Yes you have reason to believe that you must create a Mobile Flex project and not a project of Mobile of ActionScript in order to see the "creation mode". This will result in you coding via structure Flex (MXML) and not the old plain AS3 way. the difference between the two programs comes from what I've seen, he's the Hero SDK. I don't think it is available for flash builder 4.0.1. Hero SDK brings fixes and optimization for the older SDK that makes it more usable on mobile / devices touch enabled (from what I read). I also noticed that export and tests on the playbook Simulator are much easier and faster on Burrito compared to the Flash Builder 4.0.1.

  That being said, I am currently using Flash Builder Burrito and code in pure ActionScript. For me it's easier, and I like the challenge of working without a WYSIWYG editor. There are a pros and cons of these two structures, but in the end its what is easier for you.

• Why I see in Design view is different from that in preview mode

  I read a few posts about the formatting issues, but I found the exact answer. It's annoying that I create text boxes with images that I place, but what I see in the design, it's not what I see in the preview. In Design view, all the air very well, but in the preview, the pictures are not located where I placed the. The text boxes are sometimes superimposed, etc.. I have to move photos or text boxes in different places in the design, to "accommodate" preview mode. Consolidation of all the elements of a page seems to work a little better, but still, some elements will be properly located. Is there a trick to freeze the page because it is in the design and read properly in the preview? Thank you.

  The preview mode is a more precise description of how your page will look like in a browser. Have you tried the preview of your Web site in a browser to see what it looks like?

  You can make settings on your creation mode to make sure it appears correctly in the preview.

  I'm working on my Web page and learn as I go.  I find that I am constantly use to by clicking on the view code, because whenever I click on anything in "design view", all

  on my page and now the "content" div appears below the div "sidebar" in Design view, but when the file is saved and downloaded, it appears properly in the browser.  It makes just yet

  This will be the case when you are clicking an element with ' overflow: hidden ' applied.  To change the item, you must double-click, or click right and full item, select from the context menu.

  DW is - to take account of cases where an item with this style has a scroll function, preventing all of the content displayed in Design view.  When you double click, the content IS displayed, which distort the Design mode as expected, but you can now edit the content that may otherwise be hidden.

  This option has been removed from the fluid grid Layouts.

  Best advice, do not use FGLayouts (inheritance) or if you do, you'll need to trick DW into thinking that they are normal layouts by adding an X to the CSS code available.

  Open CSS in Code view.  Do not in CSS designer panels.

• Why my great air page in Design view, then left in mode live view?

  I just create a new page using a checkerboard to fluid and in "design" mode, it looks great, but in "live" mode or on a preview of the browser the wording all goes to the left.  What I am doing wrong?  I also have another question which may relate to the first.  I have four models. I have create a new .css file named for each new model or continue to use the same file layout.css for all models? Given that I created a new file .css for each model, maybe it's confusing.  Thanks in advance.

  

  If this is what you want, rework your HTML code, so all three images are in the same div and adjust your css to refine the scrolling down the image and order jpg, vertically aligned top, 30px margin.

• View Design view library items

  When working on library items in Dreamweaver is possible to connect temporarily for CSS files, they will be eventually connected to when they are placed on the home page.

  It is useful sometimes to see items from the library into design mode. I know that you can place the CSS link in the library item code page, then delete it before you post my question is the following.

  Can I combine all items in library in the world to my CSS file without putting the

  When I'm working on a library item in Dreamweaver there any CSS style because it is not attached to a style sheet.

  Take a look at the function of design time style sheet (Subcommittee) in DW, that was created for this purpose.

  Subcommittee means you can tell DW to open an item from the library in Design view and look at with the style CSS applied as if the to the CSS file was present.

  If you get the best of both worlds:

  (1) display an item .lbi file entirely style library in Design view

  (2) no temporary tags (as a solution when editing), which must be deleted later

• workspaces within the design view as photoshop

  I hope you can add workspaces within the design view like photoshop to speed up the workflow
